i'm finding now i'm paranoid about nits and threadworms. if dd sits still for a bit, i use it as an opportunity to have a root through her hair and worry every time i see her scratch her bum. i didn't used to.

perhaps i need to get out more Wink

I worry (well worry too strong, but I think more about) the fact that so many people have incredibly clean and tidy houses - ours is clean but v untidy and I never realised how slovenly we must appear!

I also find myself thinking about emkana (and arabica) and jimjams at odd times and kayzed, who's dh won't be there for the birth (because he's looking after ds).

FrannyandZooey · 30/05/2006 19:57

:) Tref

If you have to ask, it is not usually nit eggs. They are unmistakeably egg-like, and stuck on to the hair.

Don't sit and worry about nits - just check and comb your school age children once a week - then we'll all get them a lot less Angry

foxinsocks · 30/05/2006 19:57

or even whose Wink

expatinscotland · 30/05/2006 19:58

nits

Feistybird · 30/05/2006 19:59

Oh god, yes Lededgy, me too!

Pruni · 30/05/2006 20:08

Right now I am worried about a RL friend who is probably in an abusive relationship of sorts, but is in denial.

A couple of recent threads clinched it. (I worry about the poeple on those threads too.)

I think in general I worry a lot less since finding MN.

lahdeedah · 30/05/2006 20:10

The environmental impact of the gallons of bleach being put down MNers toilets every day

Rhubarb · 30/05/2006 20:13

I worry that I didn't give my kids enough baby pasta when they were weaning!

Don't worry about me! Or I'll feel all guilty and will worry about you worrying about me, then you'll have to worry about me worrying about you worrying about me and then we'll all have a headache! Which we'll worry about!

Uwila · 30/05/2006 20:21

The evident abundance of Lib Dems.

I feel so humbled by the fact that there are so many of you out there who are thinking of me!

fullmoonfiend · 30/05/2006 20:23

yes, I worry about people I don't 'know' and will never meet and their heart-rending situations.
Worry about the future of MN, and litigatious (sp?) people.
Mostly worry about the fact that I spend too much time on here, mostly :)
And worry about the fact (a little) that people who have never met me have formed an opinion about me.
And I worry about the fact that I sometimes neglect RL people because I've been on here Grin

LadyWitchofWaterford · 30/05/2006 20:24

ha ha ha at petrol, yes, didn't cross my mind before that it might be tantamount to child abuse to leave them in the car while I paid for petrol.

Hmm, I worry about a lot of people I like and didn't know before but that's ok :)

Marne · 30/05/2006 20:25

What i feed my kids (nothing seems to be safe apart from organic fruit and veg)

When to wean (cant see dd2 waiting till 6 months)

Being a chav,

People with england flags on they're cars,

oh and my spelling and grammer (its poor)

threebob · 30/05/2006 20:32

I've stopped worrying about more than I've worried about. "Meeting" some other emetophobes, some people with allergic children and some extended breastfeeders has been so helpful.

I do worry about HVs though - most of them seem quite mad. And if I was having another baby some of those birth stories would worry me.

I do worry that if I ever meet someone else, what will he think about the time I spend on here? Will he understand that sometimes MN is too good for me to turn the PC off?

Also worry that if I ever had anymore children Id like to call my son Rio......
and I can imagine some of you lots reactions

bluejelly · 30/05/2006 20:39

It does make me appreciate what I have though, which is a good thing...

sugarfree · 30/05/2006 20:44
