Steve Wright on radio 2 on Sunday mornings does a missing persons thingy, it'sa called lost loves, but you could try him?

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 13:07

Not sure i'm that brave Lillibet, but thanx for the suggestion. I don't really want them to know that i'm looking for them, i'd just like to know how they are and what they are doing with their lives.

your not going to start stalking stuart nicholson are u nutcracker??!!!!

spacemonkey · 23/01/2004 13:33

i think 192.com allows you to search the electoral roll, but i'm not sure if you have to pay for the privilege

tamum · 23/01/2004 13:35

If they don't have common names it's sometimes worth just putting the name into google in inverted commas.

JanH · 23/01/2004 13:45

Even if it's a common name you could try google. When I did it there were lots of me's and one of them really was me!

Try maiden names too (if it's a omwna that is )

JanH · 23/01/2004 13:46

or even a woman, LOL!

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 13:56

SM - I think you do have to pay

Tiredemma - How did you guess. No i'm not going to start stalking him but I would really like to know how he is. I get the feeling that he doesn't want anything to do with me (emailed him on friends reunited but no reply). We never actually went out (i stood him up). Haven't spoken to him since about 1996 and noone who knew him seems to have seen him either. I'm just very curious as to where he is. He used to live in Kingstanding, don't know if he still does.

whereabouts in kingstanding nutty? ive lived here all my life, i dont think i have seen him around- then again i cant remember what he looked like!! who did he hang around with? and what did he look like? ( ill put wanted posters up in the bus stops around kingstanding if you like!) only joking of course!

Ayz · 23/01/2004 15:02

keep trying friends reunited as well because people are adding themselves all the time

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 15:04

He lived/lives in Ensdon Grove, not sure exactly where that is. When we were at school he had blondish/mousey floppy hair and was gorgoues (obviously i would say that). I just think it's really weird that i've never just bumped in to him, and neither has anyone else apparently. My friend said "he could be dead, and you wouldn't know". Which is what got me thinking really.
LOL at the bus stop posters.

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 15:06

Meant to say also that his friends were, Steven Freer and Delroy Wilson (i think).

OP posts:
tiredemma · 23/01/2004 15:14

ahh! i think i remeber, was he in dudley house? was he quite short? with dead blue eyes? i may be thinking of the wrong person but i remember steven freer and delroy and im sure the person i can remember looked like this.
if it is the one then i have seen him recently, he works for a maintenance company that work in my office block sometimes. hope it is him now that ive put all this. does it sound like the right person?

was thinking about school last night, do you remember doing the longest human centipede on the rec to get into the guiness book of records in year 7? that is my only claim to fame!

JanH · 23/01/2004 15:21

Not a omwna, then, nutty?

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 15:32

Sorry JanH , you'll have to explian, haven't quite figured out all of the mn speak yet.

Tiredemma - It sounds like him. Oh my god and if it is and you recognised him then he must still be gorgoues. Can you get me a job there
Yes i do remember the human centepide thingy, it's my only claim to fame too.
God i'm all excited now

OP posts:
nutcracker · 23/01/2004 15:35

Tiredemma - Meant to say, he was definatly in Dudley house, he was in my form.

Just had a thought Tiredemma, your not thinking of Chris Mills are you ??? He used to be called titch as he was short. If it's him that works at your place, then please don't menton me

OP posts:
tiredemma · 23/01/2004 16:05

come to think of it , i think it is chris mills, as soon as i saw the name i remembered him, dont worry, i wont mention you. i dont really speak to him, i just say hello and then breeze past , i know he had a crush on me at school but i didnt acknowledge him, hence not even remembering his name! wish i could remember this stuart!!

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 16:08

Oh well never mind. The hunt goes on. Chris Mills was in my form too and quite sweet really but i crossed the just friends line with him after we left school IYKWIM (well not completely), sorry waffling now
If he didn't live in a grove i would get my friend to drive me past his house just to see if i could spot him. How sad is that

OP posts:
tiredemma · 23/01/2004 16:18

nutty i think i can remeber him, was his hair in like "curtains" and was he good at sport? really good looking but not in a rugged sort of way, more "pretty?"

nutcracker · 23/01/2004 16:20

Can't remember if he was good at sport. Can't have been that good because i distinctly remember sitting next to him at sports day in yr 10/11. I can't really explain in which way he was good looking, he just was. He had nice teeth (i think) if that's any help.
