Beau (pronounced Bo)

I've loved this name for ages and to my utter suprise dh does too!

Just one thought though,
our surname also begins with B and has 2 syllables.

Will it sound silly?

I would love Lars to be in the running Grin

I've recruited SIL to help me persuade dh on it as she thinks it's a great name.
We're still using the "manly soldier" meaning as a persuasion tool Grin

They're lovely names. Go well with your dd's names too.

He was more Tim nice but Dim if you know what I mean. It's weird the way your opinions of names get tainted by those you have known, isn't it?
Kinda like the name though - I could get over the association Grin
(prefer it to Jonny FWIW. Not wishing to sound crude, but one tends to find those discarded in sordid places Wink Grin)
