New Child Modelling Thread - for those who can't be arsed to bicker about chuffing Bizzy Kidz

Just out of curiosity I thought I really should do this, even if it will get me into trouble!!! (Allie, I know it goes against the rules hehehehe)

My best friend just sent me a very very interesting letter she received from the DTI regarding BizzyKidz and since this is a forum where we exchange real information about agencies I thought I should put this letter so everyone can actually see that BizzyKidz is(was) under investigation and now they need to work on some (let's put it this way) issues!

Has anyone ever brought your DH/DP to a shoot? I ask as since DH is off on Monday he is itching to come along to DS's photoshoot. In B&B's info, they say that there should be only one parent to the contracted child - I am wondering if I can skirt around that just this once.

PIMMS,my dh came to dds shoot,no-one seemed to mind,and one of the other mums had 2 of her other kids with her

I posted a thread yesterday after having a convo with Debi Clark from Bizzykidz.

I asked her about the DTI investiagation today and she told me exactly what the breach was.

In their paying in book all agencies are supposed to put the name of the client next to the invoice details. Debi had not been aware of this and just put the total amount paid.

Also when bizzykidz ring a parent for a casting and give details, they are supposed to always keep their own copy. eg location, time etc. If the parent had no time to write down details, eg driving, then bizzy kidz would email the details then staple a copy onto the invoice. But if the parent had all the details they would not keep copies.

Thats it. Anybody is welcome to ring the DTI to confirm this.

When the trading standards came to investigate they were more than happy. The lady inspecting was new to the job said " I wish I had come to you first to see how an agency should be run".

We are all supposed to be adults here so please refrain from any sarky remarks and such because there just is not any point at all.

My daughter is with Bizzy kidz so of course I will do my best to find out about them...hence my phone calls with Debi.

Anybody who thinks I am anything else but a normal mum, ie i work for them, is so wrong.

I aint here for no slanging match or any "cyber" arguments.

I know alot of people's kids on here are with bizzy kidz so I am just trying to get things clear.

mesenfantsmaman - hang on a minue, you are telling me that these agencies arent being investigated, yet i know they are as I have eceived a letter from the dti regarfing me letter to them re ES stating that they will be visiting their premises to carry out an investigation and will let me know the results. I also look after a few school age children for parents at the local school and one of them was having problems with her agency, Kids London. i advised her to complain to dti as my sister had about ES and she got a similar letter back, so it looks like they are all being investigated! When I called DTI to ask why both people I know received very similar standard letters but re 2 different agencies, the lady there told me that several of the top agencies were being investigated, not because theyare doing wrong but because they have not had inspections for some time...

As izzyrubi has done, I will post the letters from DTI on here when i get them too...

regarding BK, as I have said before i dont know anybody with them at all, so cant comment but as I have also said before, I was a legal secretary and sometimes the jargon they use can make it sound a lot worse than what it is!!! Izzyrubi - you should call that lady at DTI and find out exactly what they were in breach of, im sure everyone would like to know!

Hi Mumjane, I'm not saying they aren't I am saying that whilst under investigation the information is not supposed to be in the public domain, it is confidential. The last person I spoke with was very shocked that such information was being discussed on a forum, as he said unless you reported them (which in your case you did with ES) there is no way you would know they were under investigation, yet you seem to know the names of several agencies that are.

2manypimms we have taken extras with us to shoots before, including the next one, they didn't seem to mind, Good Luck x

hi totally-nothing for us so far for next week.it would be sods law that we get a call as we are planning to go away for a few days.its dd 10 birthday cant believe she will be into double numbers.

Mumjane >> I wouldn't call them because to be honest I don't want to get involved in this, to be honest I don't think anything will change with BK or any other agencies, although they're probably changing littl things (as Tiasmummy mentioned) the problems I had with them I doubt will change and honestly I could not careless, we left BK and we're very happy with IK and CK and I'm not gonna bother! I just thought some people would be interested in the letter, I'm a sharer :)

izzyrubi, bit late to say you dont want to get involved in this. it was you that put a message on another website with a link to dti telling everyone to report bk, then paste the letter below and 'claim' it was sent to you by a mysterious best friend???

when we went to the unilever casting there were a few mums and dads there and one dad was asked if he minded having his photo taken and he wasn't even on an agency

patz and Jinny >> I'm so sorry but you're wasting your time trying to pick a fight or argument with me. I think it's good to people to have access to real information, as I said, I'm a sharer.

Everyone knows I had BIG problems with BK in the past, it's not a secret, I know about 30 mums who contacted the dti about BK, I didn't have to. If you liked the letter GREAT I'm trying to keep it real, if not please don't bother me, I'm sure lots of people will be interested.

sorry izzy, i couldnt quite find your answer to why one minute you did what you did and then said you dont want to get involved?? was it on a link like the letter, or typed really small?

Youve send hundreds of times about being 'attacked' by them. That is common knowledge, but you havent said why you now dont want to get involved

did you keep the records of those attacks from bizzykidz? im sure you would have, so why not post them on here too

Izzy like you i have not hid my attachment with bk either. And it is because my kids with them that I am, like tiasmummy, defensive. I am really curious about what they said to you that was so bad cos i am in contact with them all tem time and they are so so nice? it does not add up at all. and why would a big company ever be rude to anyone. That is not professional at all and they wouldnt get away with it. It just does not sound like the agency i know, thats all?

anyway, i am going to ring dti, cos i want to know what they are doing wrong (or done wrong, cos dont fully understand that letter as it is quite a formally written one). I'll put a copy of what they tell me on here on monday when ive spoken to them

patzcrafty why don't you just leave it, this thread keeps on going back to the b/k thing but only when the likes of you and tiasmummy come on so really you two are the ones giving b/k the bad press , if you just left it then no one would bother talking about them cause to be honest most of the regulars couldn't care less because they aren't with b/k any way

yeah i saw it. I will still call dti and try and get them to send me a letter that says that and then I will post it on here. If that is the only breach they have done then that is laughable!

So if anyone is trying to just say bad things about bk on here, then it would have clearly backfired cos it will be the best form of advertising they could get as an agency after the assassination theyve had on here.
