For those of you who have drifted onto this board - YES, I have been on here forever. YES, I changed my hols because DS was excited about the prospect of a photoshoot AND because I could do so. Where we are going in France is our own place and not a hotel or guesthouse. It gives us a lot of leeway. Speedferries is cheap, cheerful and accommodating.

Remember folks, you do NOT always have to go to a casting in order to be asked to a photoshoot.

Mumjane, out of interest I rang the DTI because I feel it is wrong to keep saying about ANY agency being investigated until the findings are made public. I asked them if there is anyway that this information could be put in the public domain and they said that companies being investigated are completely cofidential, and no way could they tell me which ones they are. I spoke to four different people, one very high up who said it is against policy to release such information. Thought I'd better let you know that they weren't very happy that it was being talked about on a public website and said that in no way had it came from them.

strawberry, according to people on napm cs get loads of work they are most people's 1st choice agency,if napm is back tomorrow you will have to go onto the thread that tells you where to get free monologues.

mythumbelinas k/l only came up once but that was with the companies that i contacted there were millions that i didn't contact so it's nothing to go by really i was just a little supprised that all the companies using the likes of u/a mot norrie carr etc didn't use k/l. sure there are 100's of companies that do use them though.

mesenfantsmaman told you modelling would start to take over your life you shouldn't have such gorgous children then they would be in such high demandwhich one or one's have got the casting?

DD1 is doing The killer cat,DD2 is not sure,but perfume emailed me some ideas so will see what she fancies

2manypimms >>> well done to your little man! Bet you are all v excited and just to back you up we have had jobs without castings. they are the best ones to get!!! With regards to NEXT it was their press people who told me that they use babies here for the catalogue and the older ones from which ever country they are shooting in which makes sense when you see the lovely backdrops in their summer catalogue BUT as mykidsmum said they must do extra shoots and am guessing if its for school or winter stuff it must be indoors and could be done anywhere!! WHO CARES how they do it.......the main thing is that he got it!! Have a fab day and don't forget to let us know how it goes!
I am v glad I am wrong though as I would love my little man to be in the next book and was gutted when they said they only went to 12months!!!

I havent got much to say :) had a lush day today with mum and we brought rooster a england kit god he looks lush!! LOL :) Of course Im biased.
Also today we went swimming and he went unde ron his own accord and loved it :) GOD IM SO PROUD!

enjoyed a bottle of wine at mums ha ha so Im all bubbly.

Just to confirm that NEXT do use English children.My dd2 works for them nearly every week & so did dd1 when she was younger.We have never been to a casting for anything.

dd2 did a shoot for them recently & apparently is going to appear on the packaging of the new range of sleeping bags.I'll have to keep an eye out in the shops,as I don't know when they will be out.
