oh bless him. he must have been really proud. who cares what people think!!

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:52

there was a lady on here before and her baby was on front on radio times mag ( she was with bizzykids too) and she said she carried the mag around with her everywere in her bag! lol

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:53

have you been with any other agenceis before? or do you know anything about any other ones, like good ones or who is not so good

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 12:58

Oh our mags have been everywhere!!
Show and Tell at school is always the popular one. Thing is she is not pretentious at all with it. If she did I would bring her straight back down to earth! Half the time I dont really think she understands it all.
Now the older one I love her to bits but if she did it I think it would be a different story!! A bit I love me Love she is Bless!!!
Just go with who you think is good for you if you want to leave ES.
Look into the costs involved. I personally wouldnt want to pay huge amounts out. Also BK do not insist you have a portfolio done.Snapshots work just as well. (another cost you wouldnt have to pay)

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 13:01

that is so good that she is like that! ive seen some at auditions that are more pushy than the parents!! (and that takes some beating)

ive got a professional photographer in the family so that was one of my problems because alot of agencies seem to not charge for anythign but photos and that was putting me off because i couldnt see why i should pay for them when i can get them done for nothing

welshboris · 09/04/2006 13:01

mum007 how much do you get paid for coming on here and plugging bizzy kidz?

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 13:03

She was with Norrie Carr before BK but I didnt really like them. Had quite a few castings but there was always loads of kids there. So she didnt stand a chance. Just got to be a lot of expense involved with travel to London etc.
Didnt really like their attitude. But that is just my opinion I know others on here that have had different experiences.
With them about a year I think but didnt get anything.
At least now I know that if we do have a castings there is half a chance she may get it.
Scallwags my friend was with (as mentioned) but she left them this year as didnt want to pay out all the costs again. They hadnt got anything. Plus her two older ones didnt want to do it anymore.

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 13:04

Welshboris - about £300 an hour.

welshboris · 09/04/2006 13:05

More than your kid will ever earn being dragged round castings then

Bit like selling your soul to the devil dont you think?

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 13:07

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 13:10

Fanny - dont be drawn in. Im over all that now. Its becoming quite tedious with these hijackers

welshboris · 09/04/2006 13:12

Dont call me a muppet, you cant post one message without bigging up the company.

Its against MN rules, newcomers use this thread to get advice about modelling agencies, not adverts.
When you are confronted about it, you get nasty.

And its not the first time Ive posted, Im a regular

do you know what ive read back everything trying to get advice for researching a new agency to join and ive noticed that ALL the other agencies get things positive said about them and that is fine. then as soon as someone says something positive about bizzykids then they get accused of plugging them. a few have even been accused of working for them?

its really weird i think. or maybe i am getting roped into this afterall and getting paranoid????
Confused

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 13:16

sod off muppet

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 13:16

Hi Fanny- just off to put dinner in. Maybe speak on here to Izzy later. She has more experience with a lot of the other agencies than I have. She may be able to give you a few pointers.

Don't worry Fanny.I go through this all the time.As I said it's getting very boring. There are so many agencies out there now it's very difficult to choose.I think perfumelady is with Urban Angels so she could give you some advice on them.
Little Acorn I don't know anything about.
