must be so hard,,, having more than one to consider when they all seem to have such different social lives

MUM007 · 08/04/2006 22:41

Hi there one was for peacocks and the other was for Sainsburys in store promotion. My DD loves it but do have to be careful of the other one.She is at that age (11) where hormones are starting to kick in!! I did apply to BK for her but she wasnt accepted. To be honest though she is more athletic into football, athletics etc. So we do run around a lot for her.
And I also have a four year old boy(little handful), so not always easy for us!!!!

fanny5 · 08/04/2006 22:49

i think mine will end up into football and things too (if daddy has anything to do with it!!) cos she is such a tom boy already!!

how do you juggle all the kids at school time if you are doing all those jobs and auditions? superwoman!!! lol

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 11:48

Hi Mimi-sorry signed off earlyish last nght.Went to bed to watch the Apprentice I had taped on Sky Plus.
My DD is with Bizzykidz been with them just over a year. She has done very well with them. Took a few months to get started then it all sort of went mad. This year especially but as I said having 2 other children I do have to turn down quite a few bits if it doesnt fit in with the others.
My hubby works in London as a stockbroker so he works such long hours I dont have his help to look after the others.
Its lovely out there again today so just off to the park. Have a nice day all x

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:01

mum 007 * how old is your dd? and how do you find them when you speak to them, are they friendly?

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:04

lanismum · 09/04/2006 12:14

cyan, lucky you going out, i was supposed to have gone out last nite but im still ill, and so is lani now aaahhhhhhhhh im thinking of buying those surgery masks and wearing them all the time like michael jackson, im sick of having colds!! as for the hangover, have a huge greasy fry up, go on you know you want to...................Grin

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 12:22

Hi Fanny- Got out of the park thing yipee. Have let hubby take them. Got so much to do. Had a new kitchen fitted last week. So much dust!!
I have always found BK very friendly when I have dealt with them. I dont feel that they are too busy to talk to you when I have any query. Not that Im one of these mums that are ringing all the time!!
I also like the fact that they dont mind if you cant make a casting as they do understand that we do have other children to consider. Which I can see is the case of most of the mums on here. God we all seem to have loads of kids!!
I just felt with BK for the one off payment I didnt really have anything to lose.
My friend is with Scallywags and she has to pay a couple of hundred pounds every year.(and all 3 of her kids are with them).
Fanny- sorry what agency are you with?

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 12:23

Fanny- My DD is 8 (going on 18!!!)

lanismum · 09/04/2006 12:24

oh yeah, cyan, got day tickets for reading yesterday, yay! we are going on the sunday, so will see pearl jam whoo hoo Grin will make a nice change to go down there just for the day, and be all clean while the filthy weekenders stink of cheese!

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:27

i nearly committed suidide last year when we had a kitchen fitted!! lived on take aways for a week! not very nice

I am with ES but looking to change i think. I am looking at cheekykids at the moment most likely but i like the bizzykids website because there is loads of information on it? just a bit worried about the bad press theyve had on here. so nice to hear a view from someone who is with them?

what sort of work do you get mostly with them?

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:31

to top it all, 5 months after wehad the kitchen fitted we moved! had to stay with my sister karen for a while because new place being done up. (couldnt stand another refurb with me living in it!)

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 12:40

Most of the work i would say is photographic for us. But I have been on shoots where the other kids have done adverts.
Did Disney Princess shoot last month and one of the girls there her older sister had just done an ad for NSPCC. They were both from BK too.
My DD did a video shoot last year for The Tsuanmi appeal and parents there had kids that had been in ads.
My DD likes the modelling side anyway.Just do it for her memories when shes an ageing housewife like me!!!!

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 12:45

most agencies seem to do tv and photographic dont they. its hard to know which agencies to go with because everyone has their own advice and experiences. really confusing. nice to hear your experiences though, thanks Smile

thats why i went into this really, not for money or anything just for memories for when she is older Smile

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 12:49

Yeah the same here not like she will ever be famous or anything!!
But its just the buzz when she is going to be in a mag and we get all her grandparents and Aunties going in the newsagents flicking through the pages to look for her!!!
My Dad kept going in when she did Angelina. I told him he couldnt buy a little girls mag they would think he was some perv!!! lol
