Thanks for the response Fanny 5 and Izzyrubi, guess I should have known better really we rarely fall out on anything but I guess Daddy wants the best for his lil girl...anyway we have sorted it out now thx to a bottle of wine and me using my female wiles....lol My old mans main concern was whether the agency is genuine and above board and whether we could justify spending the money...anyway he has decided he is going to take over from here to make sure all is ok as we have not had a job yet and he wants to deal with it bless him....so I just fluttered my eyelashes at him with a oh dear I am just a woman look....lol I figure that you have got to let the men think they have the brains/control whatever...dont know hope you know what I mean...guess folks will think I am an airhead huh?...thx anyway.

ahh glad its ok, its understandable his concern cos there are some dodgy agencies, Which agency has she signed too? sorry if you've already said :)

oops sorry forgot to thank you as well tinkerbell...think I answered your question except for the agency..the opinion seems to be dont mention certain ones so here goes...my daughter is with little acorns ....if they are rubbish my old man will soon find out...lol...think I might look at other agencies too (dont worry I will tell he who knows this time) may have a peek at BK I am kind of intrigued by them given the earlier comments but please do not misunderstand me I do not want to be involved in the earlier discussions about them because I have only just started coming on here and the fact that my experience in this sort of thing is just beginning it seems better to know my boundaries ...hope I am making sense..[having a blonde moment]

I am looking into other agencies but I will also wait and see what happens with LA..give them a chance if my lo gets work it will be a bonus but I tend to speak as I find and so far all is quiet on the work front but like I say got to give it time...meanwhile I think I will look to register her with another agency as well.....got permission from the old man by the way....have a good day with the lo...alright for some isnt it swanning off playing golf or go to the pub (like my ol man)...I shall be busy cooking the sunday roast...[sigh]..

ketchup2meifUcan if you are going to try a few other agencies, i would try these 1st, mot,urban angels,bruce and brown, kids london they all have very low or no start up costs and they have all received plenty of work, a few mums on this site are with them and have received work and castings, there is a list at the beginning of this thread with all the web addresses.

ketchup dd is also with little acorns paid them the money in nov and havnt had any work yet emailed them and they replied saying she had been put forward for 3 jobs recently and were waiting to hear. have you found out they are not very good or something? sorry havent read all throuhg this site as the bitching tends to put me off a bit

hi everyone- this site is addictive!! I only came on here to get some info on ES for my sis and now keep logging on!
