I'd just like to fit into ANY of my pre pg clothes

emmatmg · 04/01/2004 14:53

My black trouser from pre PG and a lovely summer/floaty(and quite skimpy) top I bought in the Next summer sale when I 7 months PG and it covered about 1/8 of me.

No overhang on the trousers please!

Demented · 04/01/2004 15:00

ROFL Lisa!!!

I got on the scales this morning just to see what the effect of staying at my parents for four days, and I have put on 6lbs . My official weigh day is Tuesday so I will see if I have lost any of that by then, it must be fluid surely, nobody can put on 6lbs of fat in four days!!!!!! I had to lie down to put my size 14 jeans on today.

codswallop · 04/01/2004 18:13

Can i blame it on being pregnant after three years?

kaz33 · 04/01/2004 18:33

I'm in - 13st 11oz - tall and well proportioned but that is too much.... Before both kids about 11st, before DS2 down to 13st.

Will be walking to work - an hour and a half !! But not yet as viral throat infection to add to my woes..

Beccarollover · 04/01/2004 18:54

My dream outfit hmmmm theres a question I just love clotehes I think I would love a really lovely corset (rigby and peller perhaps) that fit me very very well and showed off bony collar bone, beautiful choker, up do for the hair and some slinky jeans or trousers and the most amazing shoes on the planet will do me.

I still feel so awful, it must be a bug as I cant think of anything dodgy I have eaten.

i havent eaten at all today apart from piece of toast that came back up

Lisa78 · 04/01/2004 18:57

quick, everyone round to Becca's!

emmatmg · 04/01/2004 19:33

Race you there Lisa.......

Mingle · 04/01/2004 20:20

Is it too late for me to join in? Have not been on Mumsnet for ages and have had to change my posting name due to being recognised by someone local! My dd is also one in March and I really want to be thin again. I would like to get down to 11 stone again. I am 5'9" and need to lose lots Will have to go and dig the scales out from the attic when I put the decorations away. Even when I was thin (size 10) I weighed nearly 11 stone so must have heavy bones (ahem)!

Clairabelle - i had gestational diabetes when pregnant with first (strangely enough it did not come back with the second) and am now really scared that I will end up with diabetes or worse - heart problems. So please will everyone shout at me if I fall off the wagon?

Since putting on weight I have had a definate loss in self confidence and am getting fed up with shopping at Evans and wearing baggy jumpers and jeans. Therefore my dream outfit would be anything that is shaped and feminine!

MancMum · 04/01/2004 20:33

My dream outfit - really simple - I want to wear a pair of jeans and a white vest top = a bit like Linda Hamiliton in Terminator - requires toned arms and ass and not my batwings and elephantine rear end. Will treat myself to a posh pair of jeans when I drop 1 stone - remember making the same promise after DS was born just the ahem 4 years ago

Have got to it this time as have vague ambitions of being role model to my new DD and not being obsessed with weight and making an issue of it so want transformation to fit, slim mum before she is old enough to say 'Porker' - my DS has already picked up on my snacking habits - whenever he has some food and leaves the room I am told not to eat it and if he does not want it, he says 'Mum will always eat it!'

Was doing very well until my mother turned up on Saturday with entire Xmas pud as I mentioned before diet started had not had any over Xmas and it is the only Xmas food I like... seemed rude to turn it down and it is full on fruit and nuts that are allowed on a detox....

Lisa78 · 04/01/2004 20:36

Welcome Mingle!
Don't worry MancMum, I had fruit and nut toffee but don't tell Coddy!

Beccarollover · 05/01/2004 09:09

Welcome to everyone, Im still feeling ropey wish I could feel better, still got cramps and everything, anyway I start for REAL today - Im actually looking forward to eating nice healthy things after spending two days being sick - good clear out of the system

Hulababy · 05/01/2004 09:33

fio2 - my DD is 20 months but I am joining anyway.

Infact me and Dh have started with the WW points today. I have been really organised and planned out what we will be eating from now until Friday and that is pretty much all I have bought in. Hey, I am even taking DD swimming today too

I even spent ages typing up all the WW point values into an Access database ysterday. I borrowed the book from MIL but she will need it back soon. At least this way I have the points to hand all the time now.

pixiedust · 05/01/2004 09:40

I've only just noticed this thread. Can I join? I'm determined to lose 2 stone. Last time I was weighed I was 11 and a half stone and I'm only 5'2!
Whens weigh in day?
