this is actually my \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hauck-Icoo-Infinity-Pushchair_W0QQitemZ7750202528QQcategoryZ66703QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\favourite} one. (i know i am leaving myself open to attack here but please, its sunday morning and i am bored). i have it rearfacing and chat to dd3. it is used daily, and is fab to steer. it lies flat, and is easy to change the positions on it.

i am boring you now Wink

misdee · 12/03/2006 11:23

Misdee - thoughts on the Micralite?

Started a thread on it and was surprised not to see you on it! Wink

misdee · 12/03/2006 11:55

How old is your DD2? I want to find out whether my big 3.5 yr old could fit in one occasionally for a possible trip to Singapore. DD (just 2) would be the main user.

If you fancy checking it out for me Grin

misdee · 12/03/2006 11:58

dd2 is the size of a 6year old. so i wont pop her in it. lol.

Gem13 · 12/03/2006 12:02

Not to worry. Have fun anyhow.

fuzzywuzzy · 12/03/2006 12:03

Why is it that pre-kids I couldn't have cared less about pushchairs, but now I have to supress insane urges to go running up to examine every new model puschcair I see.....I am mad

For my birthday, dp asked me what I wanted I found myself thinking....puschairs. Do you suppose I'll get withdrawal symptoms once dd2 grows out of pushchairs and I can no longer feed my habit??

misdee · 12/03/2006 12:05

no, you wil lwant a 3rd child.

misdee is the zapp really naff then? I know you posted on my other thread about it, do you think its a complete waste of money? x

misdee · 12/03/2006 14:16

i just found it incrediably flimsey and awkward. it tips easily, there is no basket, and the seat doesnt recline. the spider looks slightly better IMO>

Do you like the stokke pushchair? i personally dont like it! i remember when i was working at a mag and they ran a feature on power pramming and all the mummies had a stokke. not my cup of tea at all, prob gonna get pounced on now!

Gem13 · 12/03/2006 14:17

Thanks misdee. I'd seen that article too. Micralite does seem to come out top.

It's just that although I think it will be great for DD, I'm not so sure about DS. If this trip comes off I will be spending 3/4 weeks with them on my own during the week. I want to explore and check out the place and I worry I might get too far afield with tired children and have to get them 'home' somehow. So carrying DD and DS in the buggy would be a solution. The Micralite sounds fab for the MRT (tube) and taxis.

Might go off and have a look at Mothercare in a bit myself!

cyan · 12/03/2006 14:18

the basket thing does bug me a bit because I always have loads of bags, not bcos I shop all day but because im just bag lady! i fell naked if i havent got at least 20 bags with me!!!

misdee · 12/03/2006 14:18

stokke is a bit funny looking but like the idea of baby being able to face you.

are you after a buggy for public transport? cos the zapp is awkward to fold with baby in your arms, but a standard maclaren is really easy.

cyan · 12/03/2006 14:18

gem you're off to singapore arent you? have you been before?

misdee · 12/03/2006 14:18
