DD has brought me some homework - I have to write about my favourite toy when I was little! So - first q - I had this plastic corrugated pipe thing that you swung around and it made great noises - did anyone else have one and did they have a name? second q - what was your favourite toy?

My favourite toy too weird for MN? Grin

tamum · 09/03/2006 23:10

No, not too weird Davros, just a very sad story.

The poignancy left me speechless, Davros. Though I did have a small stick that was a snake in our zoo.

Oh God, that's what I was doing. I was trying to add a pic of Black Diamond, he's my one.

tamum · 09/03/2006 23:15

He's nice and shiny, isn't he? Nice lightweight gingham rug, too (does the lightweight really matter? He's plastic, FGS)

Fauve · 09/03/2006 23:15

Can you still smell them, in a Proustian kind of way?

TwoIfBySea · 09/03/2006 23:16

I didn't have the corrugated pipe thing as my mum vetoed any toys like that!

But my favourite toys were my little matchbox cars, closely followed by my Pippa, Tia and Britt dolls who were all more adventurous than their flowery mini dresses would suggest.

tamum · 09/03/2006 23:16

Yes, I know just what you mean. I wonder if they're still the same? They seem to be selling little stables and things too....

lucykate · 09/03/2006 23:16

sindy and lego were my fav's

i made my sindy a fabric shop, must have been an insight into my own future there as i'm a textile designer!.
