I was on Working Lunch a few years back when they did a feature on the all girls investment club I was a member of.

Only on screen fleetingly though - we did a mock-up of one of our evenings where we discussed investments. I even failed to record it properly - managed to record the wrong station!

monkeytrousers · 08/03/2006 09:30

Yes, and whats more you can get me in any HMV!

monkeytrousers · 08/03/2006 09:35

..and not the new adult section !

noddyholder · 08/03/2006 09:55

Yes I sang a carol on Songs of Praise in about 1978 HIDEOUS!

tiredemma · 08/03/2006 10:08

oh yes, well first off- as an 11yr old i appeared on BBC "Pebble Mill Today" with the rest of my class singing "Its Christmas" with Noddy Holder ( the noddy holder- not our mnet noddy holder)

and as a hysterical 13 year old, i wagged school to stand out side the birmingham hyatt hotel in freezing temperatures to chatch a glimpse of my heartthrobs - New Kids On The Block. There to film the hysteria was The Central News team for that lunchtimes news- so there i am screaming about how fit Jordan Knight is etc etc...... go home on the evening to find my dad standing at the front door- ranting and raving about me not being at school- i lied- swearing blind that i had- tea time news approaches- there in colour is me on screen, blatently not at school !! got my ass kicked for that one.

KeepingMum · 08/03/2006 10:26

I was on CrackerJack when I was 10 - a video of it still exists somewhere which I always refused to watch, I don't think I have even let dh watch it. Still got my crackerjack bag and pen, and a deep rooted psychological fear of women dressed up as small boys.

WideWebWitch · 08/03/2006 10:29

I was on a book prog once.

Enid · 08/03/2006 10:30

I was interviewed on sky news after the premiere of Natural Born Killers

monkeytrousers · 08/03/2006 10:30

LilacBump · 08/03/2006 10:32

suzywong · 08/03/2006 10:39

oh MT, imdb gave that rather a high ratiing, but you haven't submitted your picture to imdb, you should you know

monkeytrousers · 08/03/2006 10:44

I'm not in the lead infortunatley SW. But I did get to almost snog whatshisname off Dalziel and Pasco - I have a massive fight with him actually. I'm a screeming harpy in it!

monkeytrousers · 08/03/2006 10:45

I've done lots of other stuff but they're shorts and don't have distribution

CountessDracula · 08/03/2006 10:51

DH was in a Play for Today in the 70's

He and I were on the radio being interviewed about Princess Anne getting remarried (god knows why we happened to be in the pub next to where her new fiance lived and for some reason they interviewed us)

DH rather amusingly was on the London news jumping up and down and round and round in Blackstock Road after Arsenal won a cup once - was being showed as he was languishing on the sofa with a hangover having called in sick.....whoops!

monkeytrousers · 08/03/2006 10:55

and DP just won a RTS award. I'll stop now lest it seem like bragging Blush

zippitippitoes · 08/03/2006 10:56

I bought two items on Bargain Hunt, but I've never seen the programme..ironically as I must have seen most of them about three times

also twice in the same Street Date, I was standing next to Davina answering a market research survey while she was being filmed with the date and later on in the shopping centre

not exactly a big TV career!

oliveoil · 08/03/2006 11:04

yes for about 10 seconds whilst modelling a hideous outfit I had made on a fashion and design course. I think we walked about to Prince but can't remember the tune.

I looked like something off Blackadder, all ruffles.

HA!

suzywong · 08/03/2006 13:34

come on, come on, who is she?

give us a clue

we must know, then we can change our attitude towards her based on shallow misinformed concepts

Arabica · 08/03/2006 14:48

The cabaret group I was part of featured on a Sky channel talent show in the 1980s. We came last. Barbara Windsor was one of the judges and she was lovely (even if she couldn't recognise true star quality when she saw it).

Tinker · 08/03/2006 14:51

Was on 15 to 1 once Blush

heavenis · 08/03/2006 14:54

When I was 15 I was an extra in a channel four film with Suggs in it,something about animal rights i think.

zippitippitoes · 08/03/2006 14:55

Interviewed on "Waterworld" - about canals some years ago. Was describing the experience to a large work meeting the day after some had seen the broadcast - when PA rushed in to say my neighbour just had time to get a plane to London to be interviewed live by Paxman. Who said fame lasted as long as fifteen minutes? Ho hummm. But I'm still in the front row for OurJimmy's Crucible OneFourSeven whenever it's re-repeated.
