Right here are the rules.

You have a budget of £1,000000

You have to find a hideous house with rank decor and nasty stained shagpile carpets. Extra points awarded for gold gilt taps and bars or entertainment rooms and pink flamingoes on the ornamental pond/rockerie. AND if anyone can find a room which has carpeted walls and ceiling they will win hands down

Happy hunting.

OMG - sorry if that really is a MNer'shouse - the rest of it looked lovely, but the bathroom was just a bit too busy for my taste.

goldstarlover · 20/02/2006 22:02

didn't notice that meggymoo... yes, 90 acres... niec!

MrsSpoon · 20/02/2006 22:07

I'm sure I recognise the house/furniture on Jackieno's link too??? Although I live nowhere near it?!?!??

MrsSpoon · 20/02/2006 22:08

Doh, just noticed Bluesky's post and now remember whose house and furniture it is and why I've seen it before.

CountessDracula · 20/02/2006 22:08

fantastic offerings!

meggmoo · 20/02/2006 22:10

Hey JackieNo don't worry about it - yours stood out for miles for actually being rather nice
I was hoping mine wouldn't come up - thankfully it didn't!

Still very .

Looking through all the pictures on the websites trying to find ones for this thread made me realise how cluttered and untidy my house is. Must have a clear-out...

meggmoo · 20/02/2006 22:14

Only just noticed Orinoco's post. She dobbed her own parents in. PMSL!

pootlepod, your first two houses are fab! ok the decor not quite to my taste, but the houses themselves and the ground, i would love.

The fairly hideous, and the too many beams one.

Anyone got some spare cash ?

I know Orinoco, hence the challenge it is hard however, I wish dh was here. I'd just tell him to find something really nice and he'd find a corker straight away. Pub carpets galore!

Hattie05 · 20/02/2006 22:55

OP posts:
WideWebWitch · 20/02/2006 22:57

Hattie05 · 20/02/2006 22:58

How do you all know the house? have you been there? or has she shown pics before.

goldstarlover · 20/02/2006 23:00

Hattie05 · 20/02/2006 23:02

Oh, was it someone who offered it out to mnetters whilst she was away?

Looking at the hall pic rings bells with me.

meggmoo · 20/02/2006 23:03
