I thought i should write this down, so i can look back and remember. Also for any one else that is thinking about taking them.
For a start i have been told that they take two weeks to kick in. I had one at 4 and have felt mashed since 6, it must be that you feel more in control after two weeks. They have effected me already i feel stoned.

Keanu Reeves? Yeah, he's pretty good looking in everything. Just don't ask the man to talk. (I love the Matrix series!)

There's a whole thread on freezer defrosting. I printed it out and just did it. So Nike, I know.

My husband is going to wake up at any moment and ask me why I'm not in bed. A fair enough question... he's a nice guy who wants me to get a decent night's sleep.

melsy · 01/12/2003 23:26

Wish I could sleep - sounds like yours have knocked u out!!

Melsy, it's important at any time of the night.

No, seriously, I did it a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun. Sad, I know.

Hi Forestfly, just caught up with this. Your ADs seem to be working, don't they? They are numbing the pain for you to give you a chance to recover and build up your strength again. When you are rested in a few weeks or months you can work through the sad things. For now you are being given a holiday from them, sounds like just what you need.

I'm well impressed with Pie's knowledge.

melsy · 02/12/2003 08:58

Unfortunately FF the vivid dreams can be a side effect for the first 2 weeks. What dose have they started u on???.
When I started seroxat 4 yrs ago they started me on 20mg, & I had similar problems and also couldnt stand up. So the Doc literally told me to break the tablet in half and take 10mg for 1st 2 weeks.
May be phone your surgery and state u have had a v severe initial reaction???

fio2 · 02/12/2003 09:05

hope things start getting better for you soon forestfly If they do feel too strong maybe it would be worth asking the doc to reduce your dose.
