hi, sorry to but in but i used to work in a mobile phone sales/repair centre.

the phone should work if the other o2 sim card was also and o2 pay and go?..if it was contract then thats the problem.

any old mobile phone shop will unlock it if you slip em a tenner!..but make sure you know where you're phones going and say you'll wait while its done!

if you get no luck, i have a nokia 6210 fully unlocked with charger here

katzg · 06/02/2006 20:03

thats so strange my sim is a Pay as you go, i had to go and buy a new one to be able to switch from my contract to it and keep my number

thanks for the help - will let you know on the nokia - how much do you want for it?

spacecadet · 07/02/2006 11:39

spoke to t-mobile, they refused to unlock the phone as i was no longer an existing customer, rang motorola, they said, they dont have the unlock codes, he said best bet was phone shop where it would cost a maximum of 15quid to unlock, he said t-mobile were just being awkward, to right they are..grr.. sorry i couldnt do anything, the guy at motorola said it sounded like the phone had only been partially unlocked.
