The phone has been posted today btw, i charged it fully and got rid of all the mindless pics dd had taken! plus her rather extensive phone book!

SoupDragon · 03/02/2006 13:08

Oh yes... there's nothing worse than getting a new phone and having to wait for it to charge up!!

(obviously I know there are really worse things but YKWIM )

spacecadet · 03/02/2006 13:15

spacecadet · 03/02/2006 18:59

no probs , nothing worse than getting a phone that needs charging.

katzg · 04/02/2006 10:28

yeah phone has arrived

but it needs a password to get it to switch on

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 04/02/2006 10:41

PIN or password? A lot of phones are factory set to 0000 (zeros) and I certainly never change it.

katzg · 04/02/2006 10:42

it say subsiduary password will try 0000

OP posts:
katzg · 04/02/2006 10:44

googling it looks like i need to unlock the phone to my sim

OP posts:
spacecadet · 04/02/2006 11:49

oh no!, I dont understand cos it takes my dd's pay as you go 02 sim, and it has avirgin sim in it, and its a t-mobile phone, oh rats.
have you tried ringing t-mobile from the phone and seeing if they can unlock it..

spacecadet · 04/02/2006 11:50

katzg, just one last ditch attempt, you havent set a code on your sim have you?

spacecadet · 04/02/2006 13:14

katzg, if you are still having probs, i will ring t-mobile and get it unlocked as i guess i will have to give my password etc.

katzg · 05/02/2006 18:48

yep it still wants a code,

i'm going to take it to the unlocking shop, its worth it.

unless you can get it unlocked for free

if you need any of the phone codes let me know

sorry for not replying sooner, but we've been moving the office so computer been off
