Plastic/cosmetic Surgery/procedures, and if so, what would you have done

I would have

A nose job (my nose is not big just a slight bump in it)
Achin implant
A brow lift (I always look knackered)
face abrasion
my top lip plumped slightly
teeth straightemed and whitened.

ooh we could share the personal trainer and spend the rest on clothes lol

Lonelymum · 22/01/2006 09:57

I wouldn't have cosmetic surgery for purely cosmetic reasons, but if money were no object, I would love to have my teeth done (they are really horrible) and I would love to pay someone to professional dye my hair every so often instead of bungling it myself. (Off to do it now).

NannyL · 22/01/2006 09:57

No No No No No and No

No way would i do anything to my body (which includes NOT have any form of piercing / tatoo as well!)

Prufrock · 22/01/2006 10:08

I would love to have a boob lift - 2 pregnancies and bf have left previously large boobs looking largeand very saggy. and a tummy tuck (2 c-sections have left an overhang). But I couldn't take the risk of a GA for a purely cosmetic procedure.

I would also like to get my teeth done, but having previously had a veneer I know that they chip easily - especially if you bite your nails like me- and leave you looking worse

In the Sunday Times mag today there's an article on the new Extreme Makeover programme in the UK and it profiles some of the women who took part. Now they certainly look better than they did before, and there's no doubting the psychological improvements but they all look like dreadful American Stepford clones! The same awful hair, plastic smiles and over made up look. To be honest, a Trinny and Susannah makeover, coupled with a bit of dental work for some of them would have transformed them into better versions of themselves, instead of into clones. Think Sharon Osborne instead of Pete Burns!

drosophila · 22/01/2006 10:35

Too afraid of surgery. Anyway I look beautiful!!!!

TeddyRobinson · 22/01/2006 10:37

Nope.

schnapps · 22/01/2006 10:39

I'd have breast implants and my teeth made all nice and straight

I'd also be permanently fake tanned!

welshboris · 22/01/2006 10:42

Nope

NotQuiteCockney · 22/01/2006 10:50

I would exercise more, I guess. No surgery for me, though. I don't think I look perfect, but I look like me - who else could I look like?

geekgrrl · 22/01/2006 11:09

nose made smaller, teeth whiter, and a harsh personal trainer...

snafu · 22/01/2006 11:11

Teeth, definitely. Because a mouth full of wonky, overlapping, yellowing teeth is the only thing that separates me and Kate Beckinsale...

Aloha · 22/01/2006 11:13

Botox and IPL face treatments. Would love lipo but it's a big deal.
Though tbh the main thing that having vast amounts of money would do would mean I wouldn't work, I'd have a nanny/housekeeper and there would be no stress so I would instantly look much, much better.
Would also have a personal trainer even though I loathe exercise.
And wonderful hair.

expatinscotland · 22/01/2006 11:24

I'd have a yoga ashram in my house and a personal instructor. Bliss!

Aloha · 22/01/2006 11:24

I'd have more holidays.

expatinscotland · 22/01/2006 11:26

Holidays involving spas .

Aloha · 22/01/2006 11:27

And childcare...
I am sure a fortnight spent reading books on a sunlounger would be every bit as effective as a facelift.

expatinscotland · 22/01/2006 11:28

There are such spas! I have seen them on the travel channel.

Hot stone massage in the morning, followed by sunlounger and book - with accompanying tropical beverage - in the afternoon.

Aloha · 22/01/2006 11:29

You must stop this now Expat! you are just torturing us both

expatinscotland · 22/01/2006 11:32

Oh, and facials, one of those sensory-deprivation chambers, body wraps, manicure/pedicure service.

I did a girly weekend away at this one:
ten thousand waves at it was beyond bliss!

starshaker · 22/01/2006 11:39

ive thought about this before and id have
lipo (and lots of it)
tummy tuck
teeth done (nice a sparky white)
boob reduction
maybe lips done (the are very small)
prob lots more but dont know what they are called lol
lets just say id have the full works as long as i still looked like a person not like pete burns (???)
