Really didn't get The English Patient except that it was supposed to be profound and moving and not make you volunteer to make the tea 3 times in as many hours. American Beauty ...Magnolia (what is it with the frogs??!)

I was very disappointed by Moulin Rouge.

Anything at all that's longer than about an hour and a half - my attention span just won't stretch to it!!

It's a Wonderful Life. Everybody loves it. I hate it. Exactly how is somebody's attempted suicide heartwarming? Hate all that schmaltzy, small-town stuff too. I'm used to being alone on this one though!

Wings of Desire. DH says it's fab and I'm a philistine. I think it's utter shite.

Am shocked at some of these - TAxi Driver is such a fabulous film.
While I appreciate the cinematogrpahy is stunning on a big screen, I must add Lawrence of Arabia to the list. Just too long and well, long. Too many moments of erm,,, nothing happening.

I've yet to make it all the way through It's a Wonderful Life, which must mean I don't get it.
I think DH and I are possibly the only people alive who don't really like the Shawshank Redemption. And I can't understand why I don't like it, I love Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins, but I just don't.......like it
