School project for goddaughter - we can't think of anything memorable (inventions, big news, fashion and style etc)from the 1990s. We've managed the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's but are strugglnig with the 90's.

So.....ideas please.

I arrived here in 97 and the first thing I noticed upon landing was the Spice Girls - every girl under 10 wore little spice paraphernalia - lucky I had no money or I would have been on first plane back home to NZ!
