Hi, Alibubbles and ks, When someone joins mumsnet - and on the member profile page here - there is a box that says "We occasionally send email notices with news from mumsnet... Please tick here if you do NOT wish to receive these notices." You both have ticks. This means you won't get the child development calendar, parenting news and news about mumsnet emails. If you write to us directly though, or send an expert question, we will reply. If you take your ticks off, we'll happily start sending the regular messages again. Best wishes, Tech
