How many of us have our house on the market atm ?We were advised not to put ours on in December as it is so quiet but we wanted it out of the way and are now hoping to sell in the New Year Is the market still really slow?

Go for it missus. Fair point on the hogging front.

chjlly · 30/12/2005 22:22

Sachache - do you know how long it take to get to the point of concluding missives? - does it have to be done a certain time before entry date do you know? our buyers put an entry date of 12th jan but we don't know how reliable that is likely to be & our soliciotr isn't being much help

I really hope this thread can get back now to what it was all supposed to be about. Sorry I seem to have caused a row when I don't really know I should have barged in in the first place. Thanks for sticking up for me though.

This forum is amazing really, someone asks me my opinion on debt and advice on how to get rid of it and I simply and dutifully offer up my own free advice in an effort to help and support them, heck even wishing them luck in their difficult plight. Yet all it results in pathetic name calling and derogatory comments. Well I have news for you guys I am my own individual and never have, nor ever will stoop to such an immature level. Then again maybe I should just join you all and repeat a mantra of "dont worry love this loan pays off all our debts", or maybe you would prefer "we can consolidate all our debts into one easily manageable monthly lifetime repayment, afterall that is what the lovely presenter Carol Voderman said on the ad... and she is good at mathematics". In fact the more I think about these financial jokes the more I think that there has never been a better time to stretch yourselves to the limit to take out a mortgage for that dream new build 2 bed flat... and dont worry about all those hidden debts my love because we simply take out a 110% mortgage - that will cover it all wont it?

Welcome to the new world order. Your wake up call will be within 24 months... but what do I know as I aint a proffessional (sic.)... in debt?

That been said I really do wish the young female all the success in coping and dealing with her partners debt (could it be his gambling?) however how must that man feel knowing he is just entering a (supposed honest) and lifelong relationship with his own own , self inflicted, financial castration.

Good luck guys. In my honest opinion... you will need it.

noddyholder · 31/12/2005 07:39

no one asked your opinion you silly arse I started this to chat/vent aboout moving when someone wants your individual opinion they will ask for it

Good luck with your potential house move in 2006-see earlier post

Glitterygook · 31/12/2005 12:03

RR - I really think you should just go back to HPC.co.uk where I've found it's packed to the rafters with nastiness and bitterness. You all just hear what you want to as well - 'it will crash, of course, because we can't afford to buy a house so it has to, and we hate everyone who is currently on the ladder, oh how we'll laugh when their house price plummets. Please, get a life. What an utterly pointless website.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 31/12/2005 12:04

Oh Lord how did I miss this ????

Off to read it now.

noddyholder · 31/12/2005 12:06

we bought our house last year (2004)and it has risen in value by 90k and we spent about 10 k doing it up We are now going to sell it and downsize and there are lots of sold boards inour area so RR is talking out of his bum and is probably jealous Most people on hpc are loons tbh why even start a website like that?

LadySherlockofLGJ · 31/12/2005 12:19

House prices only ever go up and there has never been a better time to buy a house as the prices have peaked.

noddyholder · 31/12/2005 15:18

you are very thick skinned rr

Yawn.

FlossNutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 31/12/2005 22:18

I propose that we all just ignore the slimey little sewer dweller and he will get bored soon enough. I won't post here as he seems to feel able to dissect my situation and know how things are better than I do myself. I'll come back if and when our move is looking more certain and by which time there is likely to be ground breaking news on HPC about house prices...

QueenVictoria · 01/01/2006 22:32

No-one asked your advice RR, you took the piss and i pulled you up on it. Clearly that gave you licence to rip further into someone you know very little other than a paragraph of information they posted.

Your advice surely must be sound on that basis? Yahrite.

Get over yourself.

AngelaD · 21/01/2006 19:39

So has anyone had any offers or sold yet ????

SurfingMummy · 12/04/2006 00:05

Sorry to be bumping up an old thread, but it would be interesting to know how everyone's house sales are going now that Spring's here? Hopefully well?
