after someone linked to them the other day i ordered some stuff... not particularly for christmas, just general stuff.
I placed my order Friday evening and was imagining a post-christmas delivery, but stuff turned up yesterday morning!

Ordered on 10/12 but didn't need until mid-Jan (although for Xmas just as nice). Email yesterday saying despatched for elivery in 7-10 days. Arrived this morning. ( Free ipod shuffle to go with book plan purchased.)

I ordered an mp3 player from Amazon and was told it would be dispatched in 1 TO 2 WEEKS .Waited and waited and then got an email telling me that it was permenantly out of stock .Managed to locate on Tesco Extra but it was £20 dearer! .No choice at this point as ds1 was punching himself with anxiety.They delivered promptly though !

Another vote for Play. Never more than 48 hours if they say 24 in my (extensive) experience.

Mail Order Express also managed to do everything when they said they would, and send the right stuff, this year.

also tesco everything arrived from grocery yesterday except jerusalem artichokes and evenetually i got my discount vouchers allowed so it worked out 12.5% cheaper than going to the store without the trolley rage

Hawkin's Bazaar and fab customer service from them too. Had problems ordering on line, so they took my order over the phone, replaced 2 things that arrived broken within 24 hours, v speedy delivery.

DuckyLucky - fab service too.

Amazon & Hebredian Smokehouse both excellent with delivery to Austria.

Derby County FC online shop, Dh's shirt arrived 3 working days after I ordered it even though they did not guarantee pre- christmas delivery, AND we live in Ireland.

Had no problems with Amazon - everything arrived on time or before they said it would including dd's nintendo ds in pink.

Also had good service from Apple and Boden (but my dress is too big so have to send it back.

Ebay and play.com also had a photo book from bagsoflove.com, that took a while but results rae good.
