£1 per tooth.

And just hope they don't all come out at once

HappyMumof2TurtleDoves · 12/12/2005 16:09

I've been giving ds £1 too

FIMBObellsFimbleAllTheWay · 12/12/2005 16:09

Yes £1 per tooth AND a letter from the Toothfairy.

mummydear · 12/12/2005 16:12

£1 here. I do a letter too - it all gets quite involved with glitter and glue and felt pens and curly writing.

Dh said I was making life difficult for myself - I said no,no, then dd lost two teeth within 2 weeks. I seemed to be glueing and sticking at all hours, so be careful what you start

littlemissbossy · 12/12/2005 16:18

£1 in our house

FIMBObellsFimbleAllTheWay · 12/12/2005 16:19

Forgot to add - The Toothfairy needs a name. DD's is Fenella

TurkeyGang · 12/12/2005 16:19

Ours is Fairy Sparkle

IvorthePolarExpress · 12/12/2005 17:07

£1 per tooth. Last time I used a telephone message pad sheet as a letter from the Tooth Fairy i.e. "I called but you were sleeping etc etc". Dd is aged 10 yrs so she knows exactly who it is, but she doesn't want to be without the money so she plays along!

Tortington · 12/12/2005 18:10

50p

Nightynight · 12/12/2005 18:25

a pound, or a euro, depending where we are. But I thought it was only for the first tooth!

roisin · 12/12/2005 18:35

You must all have a different tooth fairy to ours

In this house she leaves just 50p for the first tooth, and 20p for subsequent teeth. And I have to say the boys are delighted with this. (Ds1 has lost 4 I think, and ds2 has lost 2.)

Nowt

ThePrisoner · 12/12/2005 19:48

My dd (years ago) told me that a boy in her class got an alarm clock.

TheFish · 12/12/2005 19:48

£1

Gillian76 · 12/12/2005 19:53

charlietherednosedpussy · 12/12/2005 20:03

a pound and a note explaining why she wasnt around the night before(when ive forgot) ...often saying tooth fairy land was full of teeth on sunday and no more teeth bricks were needed till tuesday to build the new houses etc....

Eulalia · 12/12/2005 20:04

£1 wrapped in a leaf

Hadalifeonce · 12/12/2005 20:32

A friend of mine left £1, then was told by the teacher that the going rate was 50p; because children always compare, they didn't want parents to fell pressured into raiing te stakes.

Hadalifeonce · 12/12/2005 20:32

ooops, raising the stakes!

collision · 12/12/2005 20:50

Can you believe my bro paid £5 ......£5.....for his sons tooth....and still does!

£5!!!!!!!!!

Ridiculous IMHO!!

Sherbert37 · 12/12/2005 20:51

Love the letter from the Tooth Fairy. Ours is £1 or £2 for one the dentist has taken out.

Tanzie · 12/12/2005 20:52

Two euros here. And she doesn't work at weekends if Mummy has had a heavy night on the gin. It has to wait till Monday.

Nightynight · 13/12/2005 08:28

wrapped in a leaf is a nice touch

janinlondon · 13/12/2005 08:47

£1 - and if its a wet night you may find that there is glitter all over the room when they wake up in the morning. It comes off the fairy's wings in the rain you know.....
