I think the problem I have with it is that one day their face fits and suddenly not, they change so quickly, epsecially as babies and toddlers. Their proportions alter so that the clothes don't look so good or they aren't so photogenic. The whole selection process is very fickle and if their self esteem gets tied up with how much work they get then it will end in tears. I saw that post Cod and did worry for the girl concerned .
Stagecoach etc I'm sure have their share of pushy mums and bratty kids but the process of the workshops, rehearsals, maybe performances is a learning experience in itself. The end result doesn't have to be the be all and end all in the ay that modelling is.
Crunchie, you sound as if you keep it all in perspective and I'm sure your girls have fun doing whatever comes along.
