I'm hoping it will make a very dull life at home a little more exciting.
Here's the shocking bit-
It's about housework
Basically, each Dull dull dull house hold chore will be given a number of points and the winner is the person with the most points at the end of the week.

Ok, not the most exciting MN game but as I hate housework this will really spur me on to get stuff done because I'm a very bad loser.

This will be great for me, anyone else want to join in?

and before you all say it....I am quite aware that I need to get a life, so ner!

my cleaner is already in the lead then!!

ThePrisoner · 11/11/2005 19:03

I've told my dh that he is going to play this game. Post the points system asap! When will it start?!

frannyandzooey · 11/11/2005 19:03

Do I get a prize if I am the person to do the least housework each week?

LadyTophamHatt · 11/11/2005 19:05

I'll compile the list when the kids are in bed.

stepping over a pile of junk on floor 5
putting something on that's not ironed 5
leaving dishes in the sink 3
eating choc 2
buying a takeaway 7

LadyTophamHatt · 11/11/2005 19:09

It will be roughly like this

Hoovering-
Downstairs=2points
Whole house=5 points

Dusting-
Downstairs=2points
Whole house=5points

Kitchen-
Washing up/fill dishwasher=2 points
Washing up & putting it all away/emptying dishwasher=5points
Washing=5points per load
(Not sure how to apply points for drying as I have washer/dryer whereas if you have a separate dryer it will be easier to do more)
Mop floor=3 points
Empty bin=1 point

etc etc etc for tidying, walking dog, cleaning out animal hutches, bathroom, changing beds.

Still interested???

LTH - how many points for spending 2 hrs turning the house upside down trying to find the remote control that a 16m DS hid ? Plus bonus points for putting everything back again when we eventually found it?!

LadyTophamHatt · 11/11/2005 19:40

Ohhh, this could get complicated.

No bonus points unless agreed with me first.

LTH, The games master queen
