Vent at tv presenters with annoying voices

does anyone else get annoyed at tv presenters with really irritating voices..why would they be employed to do this job when they have such a grating way of talking!?
To cite two examples, car bootie which is on bbc1 at the moment, and place in the sun on c4 in the afternoons..argh they drive me crazy..
I know someone's bound to tell me to turn over or off..but i quite like both shows and am stuck at home pregnant and grumpy with nothing better to do....hehehe

also the woman who does the american showbiz news on gmtv..argh she's annoying!
one time a couple of weeks ago when she finished her link one of the presenters said 'thank god she's gone' everyone in the studio..and me and dp were wetting ourselves laughing...

Ainsley Harriot..whose idea was it to subject people who are in pain or ill to his annoying voice and mannersisms on 'city hospital'..
He's crap too.always gets peoples names wrong or says totally inappropriate things..(i.e as mentioned on here before...saying to a mum whose newborn baby was in hospital 'he must have needed something richer' when she said she had trouble with breastfeeding)
damn..I am just revealing ever more what a daytime tv junkie I am..how sad!

The woman who presents a place by the sea? Don't know her name but think she may be Asian. She's got a voice that grates and I wish she'd wear some lipstick/gloss. Whenever I watch her I want to lick my lips as they look so dry.

delgirl..ha..thank god i'm not alone in that..her lips just merge into her face..and i'm sure it's deliberate as you would have some lippie/gloss on if you're on camera surely?

Babyonboard I hate the car bootie woman so much I have often toyed with the idea of phoning up to complain about her. But I thought I'd be dismissed as a loony (as usual).
Perhaps if a few of us phone up they'll get rid of her.

She has no business being a TV presenter. How on earth did she get the job?

I cant stand Sandi T. dont find her funny at all. she is one of those people that I just cant understand why they are famous and all over our tv screens.

I also hate the voice of that Car Booty woman. And the Place in the Sun woman - the blonde one with permatan. And June Sarpong. Who is bloody ugly too - how the hell did she ever get on TV?. I'm all in favour of women on telly not having to look like GMTV weathergirls, but intrigued by June's career given that everyone else in her field has to look good.

And Sarah blinking Jane on Tikkabilla, as someone mentioned down the thread. Incredibly irritating stage school voice. And face. And personality. I'm not generally in favour of smacking but I'd slap her!

I really hate that Sarah woman off of razzle dazzle. I cannot stand her voice, her mannerisms, her mad 'Miss Hoolie' eyes, pretty much everything about her.

I switch the TV over when razle dazzle is on, i'd rather stick pins in my eyes than watch that woman.

Mariella Frostrup's voice sounds like a real sarcastic bitch to me, really annoying voice. In reality when you see her she is a lovely woman, but most of her work is narrating, and i cannot stand it. She sounds like or is the voice on all the self service supermarket tills. I hate using them cause of the voice so annoying!!!
