Me:

Ecover multi-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle thingy (for cleaning kitchen surfaces and table) - never use anything else.

Yorkshire Tea.

Persil washing powder.

Lurpak butter.

Anything else I will experiment with, but those are my constants.

OP posts:
electra · 12/10/2010 22:17

Twinings Tea

MegBusset · 12/10/2010 22:19

I don't get the Lurpak love, always preferred Kerrygold, but recently converted to Clover.

electra · 12/10/2010 22:20

Chanel mascara
non-bio fairy tabs

ADuckCalledErnest · 12/10/2010 22:23

McVities Chocolate digestives - have tried lots of own brands but they just aren't a patch on them.

dementedma · 12/10/2010 22:23

Mitchum anti-perspirant
Tampax
Ecover squirty spray surface cleaner
Lush Buffy the Backside Slayer scrub bar
Anything else from Lush
Lurpack here too
Haagen Daaz ice cream or cream o' Galloway
Rose's Lime Cordial
All of the above subject to finances so more usually settle for supermarket own brand!

have to add that First Direct are complete Bastards. Had major financial crisis when business crashed and we did all the right thigns notifying creditors and trying to negotiate repayments and agreements and they were, and still are, the ONLY ones who refused to listen or help. After one tearful phonecall when I pleaded to allow the mortgage payment to be honoured or we would be out on the street, the tosser on the phone responded "Well, that's hardly my fault is it?" They are STILL the only ones hassling us for the vast debt of ...wait for it...£460!!

MyBoysHaveDogsNames · 12/10/2010 22:26

Why thank you PommePoire. May have to expand my brand knowledge. However that my involve ingesting copious amounts of Advocaat.

Getting tired now, may have to go and lie between my Frette sheets laundered in Bio D natural washing powder and sprinkled with L'Occitane lavender spray.

Just need a quick rollie with Golden Virginia first. Grin

SarfEasticated · 12/10/2010 22:32

So much love for Lurpak! I love the french butter (Bridel?) that comes with lovely salt crystals in it. yum.

RedLentil · 12/10/2010 22:38

And from the Irish jury ...

Barry's Tea.

Glenisk yoghurts. Divine.

Flahavan's Hi8 Muesli. The entire economy could be rescued if this was exported. Grin

pippinlippin · 12/10/2010 22:42

Oh Cwtchy, can you still get Shirgar? I love it, but can no longer get it anywhere. I thought it must have been discontinued. Am now dismally trying to find a salty butter to match it.

Always buy: -

Scotts Oats
Hellmans Mayonnaise
Heinz ketchup
Marigold stock
Schwepps tonic water
Aveeno hand & body washes/creams
McVities chocolate digestives

Olay moisturiser
Baxters Victorian Chutney (puts Branstons to shame)

pippinlippin · 12/10/2010 22:43

Oh and Baileys Irish Cream at Christmas!

krisskross · 12/10/2010 22:45

i once met a friend of a friend who said he only ever drank illy coffee. i thought that was one of the most stupid things i'd ever heard (and impractical).

TeaOneSugar · 12/10/2010 22:45

Twinnings Everyday Tea
Weetabix
Heinz beans
Method tub scrub
Bertolli Light
Hendersons relish

UnrequitedSkink · 12/10/2010 23:01

The Body Shop Lipliner in 02 Beech - used it for years (with a bit of lip balm, as a lippy) and if they ever discontinue it I shall firebomb their HQ.

MillyMollyMardy · 12/10/2010 23:04

Branston beans here too.
Twinings earl grey but going to try Clipper after reading this.
Persil washing powder
Morrison's non scented babywipes, cheap, always on offer and have a resealable clippy lid.
Alpro and Lactofree
I know this is an marketeer's wet dream but I'm doing my online shop and it's giving me ideas.

defineme · 12/10/2010 23:06

I will change anything.

So can somebody please suggest an alternative for Diet Coke that tastes exactly the same, but is cheaper?

Pukka ginger tea is incredible.

Lancashire 1kg bucket pots of plain yoghurt-could eat the whole pot in 1 go and it's 99p in Asda.

Auzzie 3 minute miracle conditioner- again I would love something cheaper that makes my hair stop frizzing and become sleek as a seal like this does.

Clarks childrens shoes, but again if anywhere else sells shoes for children with square feet (H width girl and boys), especially if it's cheaper, then I'll be there!

Butkin · 12/10/2010 23:19

My classics are

Walkers crisps

Waitrose gold label tea

duchesse · 12/10/2010 23:54

Now isn't this thread a marketing dream?

800,000 MN members and you're all divulging exactly which products can be advertised on here. Hmm

dobbyssocks · 13/10/2010 00:07

Yorkshire Tea
Branston beans, so much nicer than Heinz
Colgate toothpaste

Anything else I'll go with own brand/on offer etc.

Was strictly Touche Eclat girl until recently when I discovered Aldi's version which IMVHO is just as good and almost £20 cheaper!

chipmonkey · 13/10/2010 00:25

MaimAndKilloki · 13/10/2010 00:36

L'oreal hair dye

Tresemme/Aussie hair products

Cadburys hot chocolate

I think that's it for unwavering loyalty

MaimAndKilloki · 13/10/2010 00:39

So Duchesse? I think it's good to see others' recommendations, and if any of the brands want to advertise deals on MN, then it works to our advantage too.

Plus it's the advertisers who pay to keep MN running.
