Don't worry if it's no-one I can talk to a wall I am so excited

My dad loved it & was ready to put in an offer there & then

In case anyone missed it it's here

It doesn't need change of use planning permission and I think I have access to enough funding

Are you worried about September?

I have virtually knocked through lots of walls

I'm trying to avoid spam

Oh. Sorry.

I'm not very technical.

Have I boobed by typing it out like that?

KatyMac · 26/04/2008 21:21

Yes never mind I'll ask MN Towers to make it disappear

I'm not sure not typing it out makes it less likely to get spam it's just what I've been told

Katy. The nursery layout requirements haven't changed as far as I can see from the 'National Standards.' IIRC the NS talked about separate 'rooms' and yet we've been OKd with our 'areas.'

KatyMac · 26/04/2008 21:24

So you reckon it would be OK?

p35 of framework says room too

Congratulations, looks really good.

KatyMac · 26/04/2008 21:31

Thanks B1977

Sorry Bubble about your message - but I didn't think you'd mind

The plans don't make sense do they?

OP posts:
Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 21:34

Yes. I would go for partitions. We have moved our areas around twice since we've opened to allow for more pre-schoolers than toddlers and vice versa.

Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 21:35

I haven't received an email yet.

Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 21:37

How many babies/children are you thinking of registering for?

KatyMac · 26/04/2008 21:39

Oh it went at 21.27

[Hmm] Bloody BT

Did you send me a smilie? (or have I sent my floor plans to some unsuspecting and anonymous person)

OP posts:
KatyMac · 26/04/2008 21:39

24 2-5 & 6 babies (if I have enough room)

OP posts:
Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 21:59

Got it.

So your babies and toddlers will be in separate areas of the main hall and your preschoolers in the room with access to the loos? It's tricky to see from the photos but I don't think the agents showed the loos, did they?

You'll be using the current kitchen as a wet room play area and moving the kitchen back. Have I got that right?

Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 22:05

How many/what qualification staff are you going to have to employ?

KatyMac · 26/04/2008 22:05

Yep

So there was the main room
At the end was a wall (with a door on the right into the utility area)

The utility area has a door at either end both would be blocked up would be the toilet block

New doors into the conservatory & toilet area next to the conservatory

Me (NVQ3)
Deputy (Early years degree & 5yrs experience)
2 NVQ 3's
2 NVQ 2's

Don't know really

OP posts:
Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 22:08

So your pre-preschoolers will have free-flow access to the loos?

Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 22:10

That's a very good staff list!

Are your NVQ2s doing their NVQ3?

KatyMac · 26/04/2008 22:14

I haven't got them yet - they are just ideas

I have my deputy

Yes - access at all times

I have sent a plan with existing doors on

OP posts:
KatyMac · 26/04/2008 22:15

"So your pre-preschoolers will have free-flow access to the loos" is that bad?

Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 22:16

I know that there are health issues. Can any of you work a full week or will all/most need part-time hours?

Bubble99 · 26/04/2008 22:17

No! Perfect! Pre-schoolers need bloomin' free-flow access to everything, mostly mud.
