Hope Ds2 gets on ok at the dentist tomorrow too poor thing 😔. Just had a lolly and a cuppa tea, yes l know, 😂 at least they wipe each other out on the hot cold exchange 🤣

Fell asleep listening to a new Skyrim story so will have to redo it today.😄 woke up once during night, another wierd dream but not as crazy as previous night, but forced myself back to sleep.
Got pulled down a rabbit hole last pm watching reaction vids to Disturbds Sound of Silence. Love seeing people react to hearing it for the first time and I could listen to it and watch the amazing video forever.
Not feeling like doing any housework before we leave for dentist so on strike.😄

Been to take my Mum's friend shopping, then home to see Welsh Water finishing the road thank God for that. I have been sat in the front room in the cool ever since we got home , 🥵 32 here , Mum fine thankfully 😊

Home again. Its dropped to 27 here @DirtyGertiefromno30 blankets of clouds but still lovely and hot. Makes a damm change!
Went for coffee with ds after dentist. He got a burger i had an iced coffee. There's a little grocers shop on high street with fruit, veg outside, lots of speciality produce, cheeses, veg, all manner of things inside. They had rhubarb and greengages so grabbed some. Never see them in supermarkets. Yum.
Got just put the gammon in for tea later.

Aww sounds like a lovely afternoon @Thebookofcarolagain😊.That little shop sounds right up my street, I love finding things you never see in the supermarkets! Rhubarb and greengages too 😋. I bet they’ll be gorgeous. Glad it’s still lovely and warm there even with the cloud. Gammon sounds perfect 😋

I bought Greengages from M&S last year @Thebookofcarolagainthey were gorgeous so juicy and sweet ❤️.
I haven't done anything either it's too hot 🥵. Tried the bread rolls omg they are vile 🤮 .l don't know what it is with them but l won't be getting them again.

Aww that's such a disappointment @DirtyGertiefromno30. Oh well now you know. Hopefully you find something yourself much better.
Tea was delish. Gammon, chips and egg. 😋 Had strawbs and rasps and cream for pud. I was waiting a bit to let my tea go down so ds2 made mine up for me. He put icing sugar and vanilla in cream and just mixed it up , sliced strawbs fine and mixed it all together. So much! Have just taken my time and it was delish. Tablets are being missed tonight 😄
Dishes done, need to drag myself upstairs to get changed. Just shut the back door, its still warm.

Only just opened the windows they have e been shut since 9am this morning 🙄. First for the heat and then for the blinking smoke . Nevermind we will be fine tonight l expect.

I forgot to say the bread rolls tasted mouldy but they aren't up until the 16th 🙄. Heyho back to the drawing board 😂

That smoke is terrible, such a shame its still ongoing butat least the fire was well away from you. Those poor people in other countries having to leave thier hones because of it, horrible.

Got my blood test in morning oh joy. Got a letter today offering a vaccine for some new respiratory bug. Never heard of it! Just cos I have an auto immune disease. Its not actually failing at its job its just over zealous against me! Doesn't affect its ability to attack germs!: Do I really need another jab? Will reread it again tomorrow and decide.

Time for your story @Thebookofcarolagain🤗. Hope your blood test goes okay tomorrow. As for the vaccine, have another read of the letter before deciding. They offered my Mum the RSV vaccine in May and they all had it in the home . RSV gives you a nasty illness . I don't blame you wondering if you really need another jab though! 😂
Smoke seems better now and we have opened up the windows but it is so bloody hot here l am never going to sleep in this tonight 🤣.

Hi you two and @bookbook glad everyone surviving.

We've had a mini road trip across the border and saw both the eclipse and the meteor shower. Record breaking hot day yesterday, slightly cooler today at 32ish. Tomorrow hopefully more bearable.

Took a while for the clouds to clear but they did, mostly. Wind is of course buzzing about.
Have done washing, bathroom, tidied kitchen and pottered in garden but not much else.
Had my blood done. Was the nurse I used to get regularly so we had a good natter.
Not making tea as still gammon left so sarnie it is. 😁

Sounds like you’ve actually done plenty to me ! Washing, bathroom, kitchen, garden AND bloods done ,that’s more than enough for one day a alotmote than l have done l can tell you 😁. Lovely that you got your old nurse too, nothing like a good natter while they’re having a go at you with the needle 😂. Gammon sarnie sounds perfect, especially when it saves you cooking. Put your feet up and enjoy being lazy 😁.
I have done a load of admin , sorted stuff out and put it away properly and got rid of the stuff with our details on. Made an appointment with a Dietician for 2 weeks time re my Coeliac diagnosis 🙄. Not that it will do much good l reckon you just have to suck it up and get on with it 💪

Just going to have a ready meal curry and some of the nice flat breads l bought myself 😋 DH having hot dawgs 🤣

Hopefully your dietician can give you advice on what if products are the best and what to look out for @DirtyGertiefromno30
Washing put away, dishes done, in my pj's ready to do more nothing 😁 Damm wire on another bra has gone! Meant to bring the sewing kit down with me and forgot, oh well it can wait till tomorrow 😁 I must get myself organised and get new ones . Its such a faff as no two makes are the same damm sizes.
