Asalamualaykum all
I have been so busy with the kids this half term, that it has just dawned on me now that there isn't long left for Eid.
I created this thread to share all things Eid!
Everyone have their outfits sorted?
I also wanted to ask do your DC take chocolates or sweets in to school to share with their class for eid?
My DC normally take in a box of celebrations but was thinking if anyone else does anything different?

Assalaam alaykum! Hope everyone's Eid prep is going well. It will be a quiet one for us as DD2 is unwell so we don't want to risk spreading her illness to vulnerable Fil and DS1 has his last exam next week InshAllah. I've marinated a leg of lamb and pressies are all wrapped but thats about all I've done. I'm actually looking forward to just spending the day in my joggers and watching the footy after dinner. We normally go to Eid in the Park but after all this rain I don't fancy going to a muddy field so we will go to the Masjid InshAllah. Will have to go early as last Eid we couldn't get in so gave up and came back home. Hope everyone has a lovely day InshAllah

Our Eid is a bit split tomorrow. We’re going to pray at home, breakfast at home. Dc1 has a match, so dh taking him. Not great weather for
dc2 to be out for ages so we’ll stay home. Planning on steak for Eid dinner as easy to do! Dc more concerned I make a sheep cake than anything else!

Eid mubarak ladies! We are going to an event now! Not til the afternoon but DH said he will finish work early so we can go together! :) plus hot water is back alhamdullilah.
