Who at the moment do you just NOT get despite people raving about them?

For me it has to be Seasick Steve. Loads of people going on about how wonderful he is.

I can hear the guitar playing is good, but otherwise he just sounds like any other "dang doggone, mah babee done left me an' mah dawg died" tedious country-blues artist.

Also Duffy, she does my head in.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 21/11/2008 19:41

I only like the Beatles songs that were written by George Harrison - can't stand all that Lennon-McCartney stuff!

georgimama · 21/11/2008 19:42

On here she probably isn't considered all that, but the world in general seems to worship Cheryl Cole, and I think she is ghastly.

DreamingOfAxl · 21/11/2008 19:44

Axl's a dude!

moondog · 21/11/2008 19:44

Glasvegas - supported Ian Brown last year. I was looking forward to seeing them as had heard some rave reviews - rubbish.

beanieb · 21/11/2008 19:53

Paul Flippn' Weller.

Am awfully upset that he recently namechecked two of my facourite bands (Midlake and Fleet foxes) - how dare he like stuff I think is fab when I personally can not understand the way people cream their pants over his music.

Never got the Beatles or Eric Clapton either.

CrushaGrape · 21/11/2008 19:53

Duffy's vice grates on me. I don't get the Dusty Springfield comparisons, as although she's copied her image a bit, she doesn't have her voice or ability to convey emotion.

piratecat · 21/11/2008 19:53

The Beautiful South

piratecat · 21/11/2008 19:54
