The Divine Comedy in Paris............ I am slightly over excited about this

Next Monday and Tuesday Mr Hannon is doing a bilingual gig in Paris, doing some Jacques Brel, Gainsbourg, Francoise Hardy, etc, with French guests.
We're going to the Monday one and I am so excited.
Anyone else going?

oh yes I loved Fauteuils d'orchestre! Haven't seen Quand j'etais chanteur as not a fan of Depardieu although I love Cecile de France.
I did buy Mon Oncle and les vacances de M Hulot though as Isaw that one again in France last month and had forgotten how absolutely brilliant it is!!

DH is huge Divine Comedy fan and would be insanely jealous of you. I'm just a little bit!

Oh, it's worth it even if you are not a Depardieu fan. You will weep bitter tears at the general awfulness of the provincial boite de nuit where he does most of his gigs
It reminded me forcibly of the hovel I went dancing in in Herouville St Clair back in the 80s, dear lord!
Cecile de France is fab. Oh and the film does have Mathieu Amalric in it (compulsory presence in anything wanting a UK release it seems, I am not complaining).
