Hmm, interesting and bizarre sounding theory. Satanism in music.

I randomly stumbled across someone discussing this on here so I did alot of research and the findings have actually been quite shocking, it would seem tha a lot of celebs beyonce rhianna and jay z all seem to openly worship, from their hand gestures to what they wear etc.

I am fully aware this sounds totally bizarre and I assure you I am not insane, but have a Google and post your feed back. (can't do links as I'm on mobile) :)

There are several precidents for this type of thing in hip hop: Wu Tang Clan pretending to to be shaolin monnks; Majesticons pretending to be high-roling superrich; Ice Cube etc pretending to be LA Gang members; Dr Octogon pretending to be an extra-terestrial time travelling gyneocologist; Jay-Z/Beyonce pretendinng to be satanist/illuminati.

Maybe they think the there is a strong image and it looks cool, or maybe they think there is an interesting analogy. Either way I think their intention is nothing more sinister than selling as many records as possible.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 19/03/2011 21:42

Exactly my point earlier BeerTricks Grin

claig · 19/03/2011 21:43

I don't think they are satanists, and the pop stars are only puppets and messengers.

The Archbishop of Canterbury said that freemasonry and Christianity are incompatible. They worship the Grand Architect. Some people say it is really Baphomet, but I'm not an expert on what they believe.

I don't think they are freemason, not the local fire chief down the lodge. I think they are the superrich who really control world events and 'cabs for hire'. Read up about the Fabians and see the contempt they had for ordinary people. Read HG Wells and George Bernard Shaw. These people are only servants of the elite.

New Archbishop: Masons have no place in the Church

By Jason Bennetto

15 November 2002

The new Archbishop of Canterbury has said he believes Christianity and Freemasonry are "incompatible" and has refused to appoint clergymen to senior posts because they are members of the Brotherhood.

Dr Rowan Williams, who becomes head of the Church of England next month, told The Independent that he is not in favour of ministers being Masons because it is a "secret organisation" whose views are questionable.

He also voiced doubts in a letter to Hugh Sinclair, who has been investigating the Brotherhood: "I have real misgivings about the compatibility of Masonry and Christian profession ... I have resisted the appointment of known Masons to certain senior posts."

Dr Williams' comments will renew controversy about the Freemasons. In the past 50 years some of its most senior members have been in the Church's higher echelons, and there have been links between the two organisations for centuries. Thousands of leading clergymen and churchgoers are among its 350,000 British members.

The Rev Gregory Cameron, chaplain to Dr Williams, said: "He questions whether it's appropriate for Christian ministers to belong to secret organisations. He also has some anxiety about the spiritual content of Masonry."

A spokesman for the Archbishop said he was "worried about the ritual elements in Freemasonry ? which some have seen as possibly Satanically inspired ? and how that sits uneasily with Christian belief". He continued: "The other idea is that because they are a society, there could be a network that involves mutual back-scratching, which is something he would be greatly opposed to."

A spokesman for the Freemasons in England said: "As far as we are concerned, there is no incompatibility between Christianity and our organisation whatsoever."

claig - but do you accept there must be a physical limit to the number of humans on the planet? If not the amount of land we need to grow food, then the amount of land we need to physically stand on? Maybe a couple of square feet each?

claig · 19/03/2011 21:47

I think nature has its own way of controlling human population, such as famine etc. I don't think Sir Jonathon Porritt and Eton educated elites and HG Wells should engineer what they think is acceptable. I believe in God and God will sort it out. They believe in Satan and they will do his bidding on us.

claig · 19/03/2011 21:49

AttillatheMum, do they really believe that? Isn't the Catholic Church against the use of condoms, unlike the UN etc. who want to institute worldwide population control?

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 19/03/2011 21:50

In nature if a population of animals becomes unsustainable then the population is naturally culled. For (a very basic) example, the lions eat the gazelle. The lions grow strong and healthy and breed more so more gazelle are eaten. The population of gazelle drops so much that there isn't enough food for the lions. The population of the lions drops and the gazelle population increases. And so it goes on.

So it stands to reason that if the human population becomes unsutstainable, nature will take steps to reduce the numbers of humans.

The bible even has a story about this involving an Ark...

AttillaTheMum · 19/03/2011 21:51

I dont know too much about the Catholics.

The penticostals / anglican / evangelicals etc do.

The Catholic church does not want you to use condoms to raise the number of Catholics in the world. My Catholic great-grandmother told her daughter that about 70 years ago to ensure she didn't have more children than she could care for.

It's also the reason that Churches like the Westboro Baptist church have so many children - to increase the numbers of followers.

claig · 19/03/2011 21:53

AttillaTheMum, you are right about all the Anglican churches. They don't really count in the big game. The real enemy of the super elites is the Catholic Church, because they don't agree with plans.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 19/03/2011 21:54

It's ok BeerTricks, remember the good ole days when all you had to do was bite the head of a bat to get some media attention?

claig · 19/03/2011 21:56

ShinyMoon, I agree, nature will take care of it. I would rather that than elites liek Stalin taking care of it forcibly. I don't believe that if we don't recycle our cardboard, that the planet is doomed. I think the super rich elites are lying to us. I think nature knows best, and God knows best.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 19/03/2011 21:58

What will we do when we run out of fossil fuels?

claig · 19/03/2011 22:01

There are loads of fossil fuels. Peak oil is a myth. It is a scam. By the time they run out, we will have invented much better forms of energy than windfarms anyway.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 19/03/2011 22:01

Where will we bury our rubbish if we don't recycle more? How many endangered animals will become extinct if no-one takes action to protect them. How much of the rainforest has to be left before we realise how important it is.

I believe that humans and nature have a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" relationship.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 19/03/2011 22:02

Ummm, dying of starvation may be nature's way, but it's not really much fun, y'know?
Do you not think it's better to stop breeding before we get to that point? Since we can do it fairly painlessly, with condoms and the pill and all?

claig · 19/03/2011 22:04

They want to push nuclear, they say it "reduces the carbon footprint". James Lovelock of Gaia fame is one of the major green evangelists for nuclear. Even George Monbiot is not anti-nuclear. The public don't want nuclear, but the "carbon footprint" circus will say it is the only solution to "save the planet". they even have a slogan prepared. "Go nuclear, save the planet".

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 19/03/2011 22:05

"Without tits and a red wig he's nowhere, man"

Oh, I don't know, he's had his moments since then. Admittedly the last two albums were shockers, but you never know...

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 19/03/2011 22:06

Yeah it probably does reduce it, but only because there won't be anyone left to leave any footprints Hmm

claig · 19/03/2011 22:09

'Do you not think it's better to stop breeding before we get to that point? Since we can do it fairly painlessly, with condoms and the pill and all?'

No, I don't agree that Eton educated Sir Jonathon porritt should tell people that they can't have more than 2 children. Let nature take its course. He and his ilk aren't God, or Baphomet, or whatever they believe they are. I don't believe that we have "only 50 days left to save the planet" and I don't believe their doom-laden prognostications about the size of the human population. I think the earth is a self-regulating organism and nature will solve the problem by itself. People will reduce their birthrate by their own volition if resources really become scarce. I don't think that Eton educated bigwigs should tell humans to stop eating meat because cows' flatulence causes global warming and will destroy the planet. I think they are liars.
