Casabu the flash sales website for parents, would like to know what's important to you when shopping online for you and your DC.

This survey is open to all UK MNers who have at least one child aged 0-6 years, or who are pregnant. You must also have shopped online for yourself and/or your child(ren) in the last six months.

Everyone who takes part in this survey will receive a code which entitles them to £5 off two separate transactions at Casabu.com, everyone will also be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £250 Amazon voucher.

To take part in the survey click here

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw.

Nickel...sorry if Amazon isn't for you. Don't let it put you off doing the survey as you don't have to enter the draw.

Thank to everyone who has completed the survey so far, I have sent those of you who missed the voucher code a PM.

If anyone else has missed it, the code it casabuMN5

Casabu has provided this definition of a flash sales website:

"Flash Sales are a limited-time offer of highly discounted products. You have to log in to Flash Sales sites because the deals are only available to members (but its free to join). New sales start every day and run from 24 hours to 7 days. Once you join, you get an email every morning telling you about the new sales that are on and you can then click through and shop for deals."

KatieBMumsnet · 24/05/2012 13:46

Casabu has asked me to let you know if anyone has been having problems with the voucher code, they have fixed it and the code casabuMN5 will now be working.

KatieBMumsnet · 24/05/2012 14:49

Please don't worry dutchjennie we're not passing on your email addresses, the only email address we will pass on is that of the prize winner and this is only so the Amazon voucher can be sent. The discount code was at the end of the survey, which I have copied here for you:

"16. Thank you for completing this survey. All data will be kept confidential. To enter the prize draw where one winner will receive a £250 Amazon voucher please add your details below. These details will only be used to select and notify the winner and not for any other purpose. You will not receive any marketing as a result of this survey.
As a thank you to everyone who has taken part in this survey, Casabu would like to offer you a £5 off voucher code for Casabu.com - at the check out please use the code: casabuMN5 (if you want to use the code make a note of it now!)

This voucher code can be used on two separate purchases, so in total you could get £10 off."

HipHopOpotomus - it's because you've already filled in the survey so it won't let you go back in - it will just direct you to the end page which is the MN insight page. Do you need to go back in to change something?

AnnMumsnet · 27/05/2012 18:41

jaffajiffy - have tweaked - thanks!

KatieBMumsnet · 28/05/2012 16:56

Thank you to everyone for your feedback so far. Casabu has asked us to post this in response to your queries:

"1. We hear the feedback on the barrier that the sign-in page poses and this is helpful - we are thinking of ways we can show more about what's on the site than we currently do before asking for email and other details. We have to keep the detailed information about our sales behind a login as we are always cheaper than you can find the same products elsewhere and our brands are concerned about the pressure placed on other retailers if we advertise our prices more widely.

  1. I appreciate that the product offering seems small - to us it seems big (!) but then we are very close to day-to-day operations and it's good to know how it's perceived by others. We are only a month and a bit old so we are still ramping up our offering. We want to make sure that we get the service right before we increase the number of sale - we really don't want to mess up by going too big too soon and so far have been able to deal with all of our customer queries very personally. We will have 2-3 times as many sales on in the next 4 weeks and up to 5 sales a day (35 a week) within the next 4-5 months and sale duration will come down to 3 days (i.e. there will be around 700 products on sale each week).
  1. We carry a range of brands - some expensive, some more affordable - and it's definitely our intent to have 'something for everyone' but because our sales are transitory, there won't necessarily be something for everyone in every sale we run. We are always cheaper on like-for-like than you can find on the internet but we won't necessarily be competing with store-brand products on price all the time.
  1. Although £250 is the prize draw reward, Mumsnet charges a fee for running the survey and allowing us to ask you for your opinions directly. This fee represents a significant part of our budget at the moment. We are making the investment because we think its important to ask what women want and hear what they have to say about what we are doing and shape our business accordingly. Your feedback is really valuable to us!"

KatieBMumsnet · 31/05/2012 09:31
