Surely if you don't celebrate Christmas, then you could replace the reference with your own gift giving celebration, e.g. Eid, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali etc.???

Having done the survey it's all about giving and receiving presents and nothing to do with any religious celebration, so I'd say it's relevant to all who do this at this time of year, regardless of faith.
