As part of the launch of new Railcard gift cards, which allow the recipient a third off rail travel for a year, the team at Railcard has asked Mumsnet to find out how you feel about Christmas gifts.

Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey - everyone who completes the survey and adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky winner will receive a £250 voucher for a store of their choice plus a Family & Friends Railcard gift card worth £26.

This survey is open to all UK Mumsnetters who celebrated Christmas(or who exchanged gifts at this time of year).

Many thanks and good luck, MNHQ.

Done, but there was one q worded a bit oddly. Or it prob wasnt, except to my mind! The one about spending more on immediate family versus 'outsiders'; did it mean how much we spent on our family and on others, or did it mean how much we spent on our family and how much other people spent on our family? The subsequent question could follow on from it, or cover the part that the original q wasnt refering to, iyswim.
I think I'm a bit tired and overthinking things Blush

AnnMumsnet · 28/12/2010 10:14

thedonkey...it was about how much you spent on those outside your immediate family vs how much 'outsiders' spent on you and your immediate family! I'll underline a couple of bits to make it clearer....

notsomumsie - as BoffinMum said the questions are just about Christmas - the survey questions would not relevant if you don't celebrate Christmas (by which we mean exchanging gifts). Just the same as when we have a survey about teenagers for the parents of teenagers only, it wouldn't be relevant if you didn't have that age child. Hope that helps.

You know that you are going to end up digging yourself a whole with "celebrate Christmas (by which we mean exchanging gifts)" don't you ANN, I'm sure you meant the survey is concerned with the gift exchange aspect of xmas, you have seen the recent threads

If you didn't celebrate Xmas you've probably got £250 more in your pocket than everyone who did, tbh Wink

Done, would be handy to have a railcard!

witchinthewindows · 29/12/2010 15:53

quick question, if we name change between now and the time results are out, do we still qualify? email address would be the same.

AnnMumsnet · 29/12/2010 17:19

witchinthewindows - that's fine, no problem!
