  • Which item(s) of uniform did you test?
We had the navy v-neck jumper in a 34" and the navy trousers in 30". Requested age 14-15 for both for my 13 year old DS.
  • What did you think of the quality?
Good - the jumper was quite thin which is fine for this time of year but not so good for winter. The trousers felt a bit shiny but quite nice material.
  • How did the uniform fit?
The jumper was the size I would have expected for 34". It was very close fitting on the arms which my son wasn't too keen on. The trousers were huge - much bigger than M&S 14-15 which is what he is wearing this year. He hasn't been able to wear those but hopefully he'll grow into them! They have elastic buttons to make the waist smaller.
  • How did it wash and wear?
We only got the uniform last week so not had much chance to check! I've washed the jumper once and it doesn't seem to have faded or shrunk.
  • What did your child think of it?
OK I think!
  • Would you consider buying Price & Buckland uniform in future?
Possibly but will probably just stick with my usual M&S!
  • Is there anything you think could be improved?

  • Which item(s) of uniform did you test?
  • blue polo shirt size 7-8, trousers and v neck sweatshirt size 8-9
  • What did you think of the quality?
  • Great quality, the polo top has been washed the most and is still looking good, the colour hasn't faded at all
  • How did the uniform fit?
  • the polo top was a size smaller but fitted fine and will be ok for a good few months. the trousers were way too big and long and couldn't be tested. the jumper was a size larger and therefore was a bit big but can still be worn and will last a long time
  • How did it wash and wear?
  • both the jumper and polo shirt washed well and still look good
  • What did your child think of it?
  • he was happy to wear the clothes and had no complaints
  • Would you consider buying Price & Buckland uniform in future?
  • yes i would
  • Is there anything you think could be improved?
  • although larger sizes are ok for tops, i think trousers need to be more fitted and not so long

We had trousers to test and a cardigan.

My 15 year old loved the trousers. Great fit and found them lightweight but looked smart. Once washed they came out great too although still needing ironing.

My daughter didnt like the cardigan she said they was a little bit scratchy and itchy

Slightly later with feedback as parcel was late. Haven't tested washing the items yet so can only go on initial impressions.

Which item(s) of uniform did you test?
Trousers and jumpers

What did you think of the quality?
I thought it was OK. The cotton mix jumper was a bit thin but felt nice. The acrylic one was thicker but slightly rougher - think this will be softer after a few washes.
The trousers are a bit noisy, but again I think will feel better after being washed.

How did the uniform fit?
quite a good fit - adjustable waist on trouser which is good, plus zip and 2 hooks to keep it in place.

How did it wash and wear?
havent had it long enough to answer this.

What did your child think of it?
he thought it was good - wasnt overly excited as it is uniform!

Would you consider buying Price & Buckland uniform in future?
I'm not sure i would, it is more expensive that supermarket stuff but is about on par quality wise. Plus i like the extending hem in M&S trousers.

Is there anything you think could be improved?
As above, the extra hem in trousers is always useful, especially for secondary school sizes as kids can suddenly grow in height!

Thanks for letting me try!

We had the shorts, trousers, polo shirt and jumper and we were impressed. All items felt very well made, and of superior quality to our usual supermarket 'go to' basics. My child is quite fussy about clothing textures, and had no complaints about the polo shirt, which felt nice & soft. Comments were made about the 'stiffness' of the shorts & trousers but that was only on the first wear, as expected - they softened up properly after washing. Having checked the company's website, I would certainly consider purchasing from them in future as they're very reasonably priced for such decent quality.
