  • How it fitted into real life
  • How it made you feel, physically or mentally
  • Whether it’s something you’d carry on with
Feel free to reply to each other and enjoy a wider chat about fitness, motivation, and finding what works for you.

I was chosen to trial the mamma rebuild program. I have really struggled for a few years to find my rhythm after children so keen to rebuild my core strength.
The app is great in that the workouts are available whenever or wherever you are, however I think I would have preferred if I was able to get it on my tv but I couldn’t get it to work. I have a busy schedule with work, 4 kids all with their own anctivities and the gym or classes never seems to fit our routine.
I was happy with the variety of levels, intensity and huge amount of workouts available.
I enjoyed the workouts and I forgot how good I feel after a workout however don’t feel like I used it enough to get full benefit from it. Highlighted how I need to make more effort for time for me.

GrandmaMazur · 20/02/2026 17:18

It took a while to get started on the Power Pilates programme as I didn’t hear anything from RWL and had to contact Mumsnet and then it took some time to get information from RWL to be able to get set up. Unfortunately I was then very busy and then it was Christmas and the workouts were just a bit too long for me to find the time to do them too often... yadda yadda <excuse emoticon>

I would have had more time if I'd been able to start earlier and if I'd known it was going to be that much later I wouldn't have applied to take part.

However, the few workouts I did do were good. The website was easy to use and it was nice to see people demonstrating different options as I was following along. It was maybe at too high a level for me at times and was a bit quicker than I'm used to in Pilates but that was interesting.

I'm sorry I didn't manage to complete the course. If I was a more motivated at home exerciser I think I would have really enjoyed the programme. I think I might have found it easier if the sessions were shorter. Thank you for the experience though - I appreciated being chosen to take part!

I was thrilled to be chosen for the trial! Thank you Mumsnet 💖

Really love how flexible this app is. With a busy work schedule, I don’t always have time for the gym, so being able to squeeze in quick workouts whenever I have a few spare minutes has been a game changer.

There’s loads of variety with different workout types, levels, and intensities, which keeps things interesting. I also like the community feature and the option to reach out for extra support if needed.

Most importantly, it’s reminded me how much better I feel after exercising. Even short sessions have boosted my mood, and I’ve noticed real improvements in my core and pelvic floor strength.

Perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle, highly recommend!!

Im another one who who was told i was on the trial, never heard anything, chased up mn, they said they would give me the details as soon as they had them, chased them up again, and now got a slightly threatening message from mn that if i dont leave feedback then i wont be picked for other trials. So here is my placeholder feedback. And the programme did look great and i really wish i'd had the chance to try it.

Lotsofpots · 20/02/2026 17:38

RWL didn’t contact me, I let mumsnet know, I still didn’t hear for ages and eventually found an email in my junk mail over Christmas. Dreadful timing as I’d signed up (and paid) for a separate programme by that point, and even if I hadn’t, sending over Christmas meant we were away and travelling and just generally out of routine.

The whole experience put me off tbh and so I have no further feedback to offer.

Catrina131 · 20/02/2026 17:41

I was chosen to trial the mama rebuild programme. Big advantages: short workout sessions (around 10-12 min max), suitable for all levels, no stuff needed!! Just a workout mat- but no added things to buy (which means no added stuff to store! Win!)
I didn’t manage to complete all the sessions in the timeframe for the reviews, and did some sessions not following in the correct order but to be honest it was great to have that flexibility.

The app is extensive. It covers ALOT of things, nutrition, recipes, lifestyle advice, stress management etc. You can decide how to use it and it offers more than expected. There’s also a nice community area which covers more than just exercise which is a lovely thing.

Overall very recommended.

@MaddyMumsnet
There are quite a few of us on here who didn't hear anything from RWL about the trial.
Are we going to be given a log in, or have we missed out?
Thanks

Ashton08 · 20/02/2026 18:05

I was luckily selected to take part in the "mama rebuild " sadly like the other participants, RNL never replied when I couldnt access the programme but Mumsnet were very helpful to rectify the issue.

Once I was signed up and logged in, I found the exercises Great and you can fit it in to your daily especially if you have just had a baby and at home. Step by step instructions and clear workouts with warm up and stretching.

Would I continue and pay for this app. Sadly No, there are so many YouTube videos which are free so I cant see the point . Also there are so many competitors out there its hard to stay the best

Tenaci0usV · 20/02/2026 19:00

I had no issues accessing the Power pilates programme and found the website easy and convenient to navigate. The instructors were varied, which was appreciated, but each seemed similarly motivational in approach, and exercises easy to follow.
I appreciated the fact that the commitment was quite casual and classes fairly short, which made it easier to slot them into my day, when the motivation & energy levels allowed! The lack of equipment required was also a bonus, and I was glad of the alternative, exercise options, to make certain moves easier when necessary.
I'm generally a regular gym goer, most weeks, but like the idea of having some sort of convenient, accessible fitness routine options at home, when childcare or work prevent gym visits and this programme fitted the bill pretty well. I got the usual sense of achievement after completing each class, and feel confident that, if I continued and did it more regularly, my cardio & flexibility would further improve. If it was priced appropriately, I'd consider continuing with the programme.

Wendzg · 20/02/2026 20:32

Took some doing to get started as didn’t get a login for quite a while and then I had the flu. I feel the test wasn’t done at the best time of year as December is crazy as it is - I had hoped it would prove me wrong and I could finally find something to work within my busy life - I don’t feel with the issues I had I had enough time to really get my head around the app as didn’t find it very user friendly.

TtcBaby2H · 20/02/2026 22:15

As a lot of other testers noted, it took a while to get into the account as I was also not sent anything until chased and almost forgot about it. Once activated the app was easy to use with lots of information. You definitely need to be very self motivated to continue the programme but would say it worked great.

Haybails111 · 21/02/2026 03:20

I was so excited to be chosen for the trial. I’ve been breastfeeding and really struggling to shift the baby weight and loved that this was aimed at mums trying to get back into fitness with safe exercises. Unfortunately I was never sent any logins and it was quite difficult chasing up RWL to get this resent. When I finally did get access I found the app really difficult to use and the huge number of notifications and emails quite stressful. Disappointing because I think the app is a great idea!

Hannahghal · 22/02/2026 16:42

I did the Mama rebuild course and loved it! I loved how the first session focused on breathing and really engaging your core. I always worry when doing exercise that I am doing it wrong and not activating the correct muscles. However, the constant reminders throughout the course on what to focus on really helped me!

I also forgot my password and the customer service was so responsive and great to deal with!!

Minnie22 · 22/02/2026 16:49

Like many others, I did not receive any log in emails from
RWL for a very long time, I did however receive a ridiculous amount of marketing ones.

Once I did receive the log in, the app was easy to navigate and I enjoyed the mama rebuild and a walking programme.

Whilst, I have not navigated the entire website fully, I feel that if you are coming back to exercise after a long time, there are a lot of exercises that would be beneficial and easy to build up fitness.

I would love to have this app for longer and provide a more comprehensive review, however, the delay in receiving a log in has negated that.

CatMumFi · 23/02/2026 08:57

I really enjoyed taking part in this trial - RWL is really easy to fit around your life as there are exercises of different lengths. I used the Mama Rebuild programme along with other short exercises. Since starting I have felt the motivation to carry on - it was exactly what I needed to get me back into exercise after a few years off since having kids! I am going to carry on using RWL but will now move onto one of the other programmes.

AnotherDeadSparrow · 25/02/2026 14:20

Was chosen to do the Power Pilates, and like so many others, got lots of marketing emails but no login details for ages! I’m actually relieved to hear I wasn’t the only one.

I eventually got login details just before Xmas and by then it was hectic with Xmas preparations and going away so unfortunately I only managed a couple of videos. The ladies in it seemed very friendly and approachable, but the music was a bit annoying.

similar to others, if I’d been given access earlier I think I would have been more motivated, but it seemed a bit disorganised and I had to focus on Xmas once I’d eventually found out what was happening.

good luck with the programme though RWL.
