  • How it fitted into real life
  • How it made you feel, physically or mentally
  • Whether it’s something you’d carry on with
Feel free to reply to each other and enjoy a wider chat about fitness, motivation, and finding what works for you.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial the mamma rebuild program. After struggling for a couple of years to find my rhythm after childbirth where I suffered a mild pelvic floor prolapse, I wanted to try and start to rebuild my core strength.

The great thing about the app is the workouts are available whenever you are, I have a busy schedule with work, throw a toddler in the mix and the gym never quite seems to fit our routine. Being able to pick up the course when I had just 10 minutes here or there was fab.

I was also surprised by the variety of levels, intensity and amount of workouts available, there was so much to choose from as well as the community area which allows you to connect with others if you wish. You can even speak with the team if you want extra guidance and support.

The best thing about working out again is my boost in mood. I forgot how good I feel after a workout. It gave me time for myself and I definitely felt a difference in my core strength and my pelvic floor strength.

using the RWL fitness app has reminded me how much a quick workout can help with my mental and physical health and has boosted my confidence to get back into the routine of having some me time and the motivation to remember to look after myself as well as everyone else! This is definitely something I want to try and work more into my future routine and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something to work with your busy schedule and not against it!

I never received anything from RWL fitness so I was unable to join this product test! I had an email from MN telling me that I'd been selected, then nada. I contacted MN to let them know, but heard nothing back.

Jossykaye · 09/02/2026 16:27

It took a while to get set up as I didn’t hear back from RWL for ages and had to contact Mumsnet. When I did I used the Power Pilates programme. The site was very easy to use with a variety of different types of workouts.

CatkinToadflax · 09/02/2026 16:35

I was never contacted. A bit disappointing really as I’d have liked to do the Pilates/happy programme.

Coocoopigeon99 · 09/02/2026 16:37

I was chosen to trial the mama rebuild challenge and like another person mentioned, I received nothing from RWL in the way of log in details until I chased it. I was receiving emails from RWL like marketing & general emails & I also checked junk/spam folders.
I like the simplicity of the app, easy to navigate. It told you how long each session will take and what equipment if any is needed.
Unfortunately due to other health needs I was unable to use this app to its full potential but I felt motivated to log in and check the plan.

abs14 · 09/02/2026 16:39

Initially had to contact Mumsnet as had not heard from RWL but once I did found it really useful and liked the variety of different things to try. I used the weight loss section and would definitely use again!

joleyn · 09/02/2026 16:39

I did the power pilates programme. I really enjoyed it, very versatile and it was clear about adaptations that could be made. It definitely helped to already be quite experienced in pilates. I would have liked, in the description, to know what equipment I would need rather than starting video and then finding I needed to go get a chair or band etc. Overall though I found it really good and I really liked the instructors. I also had a look through the site and the recipes were also a really nice addition.

Amaksy · 09/02/2026 17:27

My reply is included below:
Which fitness plan did you follow?
• Power Pilates

What I enjoyed most was the variety of workout, no 2 day was the same and the instructors differed too. It was great to be able to workout at home without some of the equipment needed and sometimes there was an instructor to copy if you wanted a different style.

This workout plan fitted into real life because I could complete it any time whether morning or evening, pause and carry on as needed.

This programme was great for my wellbeing because it made me feel and look good physically and mentally too.

If cost wasn’t a constraint/ factor it’s something I would carry on with. However I would want my instructors to look like me.

Had a go at the Mumma rebuild, probably a bit late for me as youngest is 20 but the app was easy to use

Reastie · 09/02/2026 17:52

As with some others, unfortunately, I never received anything from RWL Fitness after an email from Mumsnet saying I had been selected so I was unable to test it. I'm still very happy to if any log in information is available as I'd love to give it a try.

MuggyBonehead · 09/02/2026 17:59

Thank you for choosing me to test this. I tested power pilates. I had never tried pilates before and unfortunately it turns out I really don't enjoy it so I gave up after a couple of workouts. I'm not sure the website format is for me either so I will stick with going to classes at my local gym.

Makingmeaning · 09/02/2026 18:34

I failed with this! I was supposed to be on mama rebuild. It looked great- the programme itself seemed very well done and I was hoping to be able to squeeze in 10 minutes here and there. But . . . How?? When?? And with what energy? I need to figure this out. Am a homeschooling mum of 3, including a 10 month old. I get a shower once in 3 days and even so, my husband tells me to please be quick! So workout time seemed completely out of reach. Any suggestions?

daisyboo1 · 09/02/2026 19:05

I never heard anything from RWL, so cannot offer any feedback am afraid.

oClaireo · 09/02/2026 19:35

I’d have loved to have tried the Power Pilates, but I have, unexpectedly, been in and out of hospital since Christmas, and just haven’t been able to try it unfortunately 🙁

maryhinge88 · 09/02/2026 20:11

Unfortunately RWL never emailed me back about these programs. I would have loved to have tried power Pilates!

Frogets · 09/02/2026 21:41

I was chosen to take part in the Power Pilates program. It did take time to get set up as I had not received any information from RWL so I had to contact MN. Once I received information, it was easy to set up and navigate through the app. I found the program accessible and easy to follow but being a busy mum I did find that the session that were 25 minutes long were too long. I would rather sessions of no longer than 15 minutes.

lapinp · 09/02/2026 22:20

I tried Power Pilates. I liked the shorter sessions but still found it hard to fit into my day. Trialling over December probably wasn't the best time to add a new exercise regime!
The app was easy to use and I might be more likely to use something more high energy.

omgitchiness · 09/02/2026 23:15

I got the email from MN to say I'd been selected on 27-11-25. I didn't hear anything from RWL about the Power Pilates program.
Strange because they obviously had my email address as I started to receive their marketing emails about products and sales.
So sorry I am unable to leave a review about the program.

Tink34 · 09/02/2026 23:59

I tried ‘power pilates’. I thought pilates was a gentle chilled approach to exercise but by god it was hard to begin with. After first session i felt my body tightening and realised i had less strength than i thought i had.
although i always felt good after each go i found that i wasn't consistent due to life duties getting in the way which was disheartening. I also found i didn't have much motivation due to doing it solo. I did not finsh the whole program.
The app was great at making you feel good about yourself always encouraging. Gave good exercise advice.

wigglebumsmum · 10/02/2026 07:02

I, like many others didn't hear from.RWL for ages, apart from marketing emails. When I did get a log in, the app was very user friendly but I'd waited so long for it and has so many marketing emails that my motivation was lost.
If the trial had started straightaway I think I would have been more inclined to have engage more with the programme.

nornironlady · 10/02/2026 10:30

I have been out of the way of exercising over a year and this came at the right time. I had the Power Pilates trial. It took a few weeks to get the details for logging in which happened to be just before Christmas so timing was an issue. I was able to commit more fully in January and found the classes very enjoyable. I really liked the variety of workouts which changed daily. The instructors were excellent and I like the ongoing commentary of encourage or suggested adaptations. There were different time lengths of classes depending on what time you can spare. The app was really user friendly and you can check what equipment is required before staring the class although this wasn't necessary as adaptations were always suggested and demonstrated. I found the instructors relatable and easy to follow. There was so much more content on the app I didn't explore like suggested meals/recipes. I had a check in from the online community with an offer to ask anything I wanted or to just join in with my progress. I have taken up the discounted offer from RWL to continue my subscription for the next 3 months. Thanks MN.

Olinguito · 10/02/2026 15:21

Like others on the thread I had to chase up the product test after only receiving marketing emails initially. By the time I got the log in details I was unwell, but I found RWL friendly and supportive when I informed them that I would have to delay starting the programme.

I was selected to try the Power Pilates course. I liked the instructors, the instructions were clear, and I appreciated the fact that the sessions included ways of making the exercises easier or harder depending on your abilities. I haven't done any Pilates before, or indeed any formal exercise routines for a long time, and I must admit I found some of the exercies quite difficult. I wasn't sure if I was meant to be trying to do a session every day, but I found that I could definitely feel that I had been working on some muscles and needed days off here and there. Due to my late start I didn't finish the course.

Overall I was impressed with the website and the friendly encouraging instruction. I would perhaps have liked shorter sessions, and something aimed more at older and less fit participants.

Nbsousa · 10/02/2026 15:25

I was really excited to trial RWL in the beginning. The log in details did take a while to come in though. The sessions are quick and easy to follow. The hardest thing is to keep motivated and find the time to do it. The lack of music did not help either. But it has a lot of options for exercising at home.

racheltravel17 · 10/02/2026 20:06

I was really excited when I heard that I was chosen for the RWL test, and couldn’t wait to get my weight loss journey started. Sadly, I never really got started as found the website and app really difficult to navigate, unable to find the sessions I wanted/needed and generally overwhelming. Also, I found that I was getting constant emails, notifications even after turning them off. I reached out to RWL for some support, but took them quite a while to respond and by that time, I’d lost the motivation. Extremely disappointed.

Frandw91 · 11/02/2026 07:42

I was chosen for the Mama Build programme.
The videos and programme were easily accessible via the app meaning I could do them at any time that was convenient, especially with a baby and toddler to care for.
The videos lasted 15-20 minutes and were suitable for any fitness level, as they could be adapated. My toddler even enjoyed joining in!
I definitely felt an improvement in my mental health as well as my physical health. The plan focused alot on breathing and pelvic core which were key areas.
This is definitely something I would carry on with as there is lots of other programmes available which would be suitable.
