La Roche-Posay has asked us to find 120 Mumsnet users with a child aged 6 or under who has dry, itchy or eczema prone skin to test newly formulated LIPIKAR Balm AP+M, designed with active ingredients to help rebalance the microbiome.

Received mine today too! DS has a flare up so good timing. He's had a bath today and we applied the first coat!

I spent most of today trying to work out what I had ordered that was coming via UPS then I got the email saying I had been chosen half an hour before it arrived

Mine turned up before the email which was confusing. I was racking my brains as to who could have sent it. It’s very timely though as dd has a breakout behind her knees and elbows.

What a shame... this stings my child when I put it on, just like every other cream we have tried (apart from the prescription creams, that is).

Received mine on Tuesday. Haven't tried yet as little one's skin is already too flared to try something new, but it's on standby. Will be watching for everyone else's experience

@theneverendinglaundry we use the same brand different product on our DD, when she has a flare up it does sting her a bit but after a couple of days it settles and now she very rarely has a slight flare up if I forget to use the cream!

I would also of loved to try this for myself. My eczema skin is very itchy and dry at the moment 🙁

Yet another cream that's not working for us unfortunately. I can't believe that after all this time I still think a miracle cream might change things for my little one

I think it does feel v moisturising, but my 5 year old says it stings him when I put it on him so I've had to stop
