Lunette is looking for 50 Mumsnet users to test their menstrual cup. Each tester will receive a Lunette menstrual cup to test over 3 months.

Here’s what Lunette has to say:
We are revolutionising the future of period care with our small but mighty menstrual cup.

Lunette is a Finnish, women-led company on a mission to change attitudes about periods. Trusted name in the industry, Lunette Cups have been around for almost 14 years and are sold in over 100 countries. All our menstrual cups are vegan, bpa-free, and come in a variety of colors. Ethical, sustainable and easy to use, Lunette Menstrual Cups will provide you with up to 12 hours of worry-free use.

87% of our users say that their quality of life has improved as a result of starting to use Lunette Cup - Join us for period revolution and support women’s rights movements all over the world!"

Selected testers will be sent their menstrual cup in their chosen size (size guide here) and after trying out the product will be required to leave their feedback on the Lunette cup on a feedback thread on Mumsnet as well as filling in a short survey.

Everyone who leaves their feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here

Thanks and good luck!

Looks like it Flower (I'm 39), post baby at 38 my periods have actually got heavier too - not disappeared like MN/lunette seem to assume they do when you hit 34 and clearly don't need sanpro anymore 😂

Mymindblown · 10/08/2019 09:08

Oh I'm gutted not to have been chosen, if you need any more I'm still willing!

iamcalledemma · 10/08/2019 17:20

Impeccable timing for me, received mine yesterday and period started about 3 hours later. So far so good, easy to insert, bit fiddly to retrieve but hopefully bit more practice will help!

TheGirlWhoLived · 10/08/2019 19:07

Am very much looking forward to af this month! Really glad I didn’t get offered a clear one, I think that would’ve put me off- I got the purple too, which I’m really happy with :)

NEMSparkle · 10/08/2019 23:12

The packaging was a tad excessive, certain wasn't going to fit through the letter box as I'd hoped. I got the blue one hoping this doesn't discolour like the Mooncup, also looks a bit slimmer so hoping to get on with this one. 🤞

DoYouRememberTheInnMiranda · 11/08/2019 15:41

I'm really grateful for the chance to try this, but another complaint about the packaging - much too much (particularly from a product marketing itself on eco credentials) but also the paper delivery slip thing on the outside proclaimed that it was a menstrual cup. I'm probably horribly embarrassed over something I shouldn't be, but having to ask an older guy for a parcel that obviously contains sonething so personal is really cringy for me.

murree · 12/08/2019 08:58

Yes I too noticed the massive announcement to the delivery driver that it was a menstrual cup! With the size of the box I bet he wondered if the cup was for big foots wife Confused

cheesenpickles · 12/08/2019 15:17

Received mine and then came on at a festival so decided to wait till I got back to try. So far, day one... game changer. Absolute game changer. Why didn't I do this years ago?

Peoniesandcats · 13/08/2019 15:35

I've been using mine for the first time today, I'm not 100% sold on it yet. I find the end of it a bit uncomfy when I'm walking around. Also made me wince when taking it out. Think I just need practice!

What are people using to clean theirs if you don't have the lunette wash or cupwipes?

TheGirlWhoLived · 13/08/2019 21:23

I’ve tried using mine without my period, so I will be an expert when it comes around!!

Absolute same comments re packaging. It could have easily fit in a jiffy bag and then Jonathan the fit delivery guy did not need to know that my MENSTRAL CUP (so unnecessary) was being delivered as it so lovingly stated on the box.

Gutted I got a clear one but pleased I got one at least.

beargryllshasabigrope · 22/08/2019 10:25

Really quick delivery but there was a lot of packaging! Really liking the Lunette cup so far though. I have a moon cup too but I prefer this one.

ThatCurlyGirl · 22/08/2019 10:36

Was excited such a big delivery had arrived then surprised it was the mooncup - huge packaging for what could have been sent in a small parcel of even one of those very reinforced large Jiffy bags.

As it's a product meant to reduce waste, I feel a bit bad that by receiving the parcel I've probably cancelled out the first few months benefit environmentally!

Still looking forward to trying it as have meant to get one for ages and would like to use them longer term but agree with others it was properly ridiculous packaging. Will of course review the actual product separately once I've used it.

edwardcullensotherwoman · 29/08/2019 12:57

I received mine just at the end of a period, so will be trying it soon.i got my dates mixed up so have used it in anticipation and found it far superior to a cheap one I had from amazon, it's a lot firmer so feels more secure.
The only thing I will say is it would have been nice to have a sample of the cleanser or wipes to try too (any chance @JustineBMumsnet?Grin) I rinsed and washed with sensitive hand soap but I worry about whether this will damage the silicone sooner than the cleanser would?

BumpkinSpiceBatty · 13/10/2019 21:24

is there a feedback thread or survey available yet?

Allmyfavouritepeople · 19/10/2019 13:07

I'm ready to feedback but can't find a thread for it.

Murree · 19/10/2019 18:50

Isn't feedback next month?

CynthiaRothrock · 06/11/2019 08:43

Any feed back thread/survey yet?

FlowerAndBloom · 08/11/2019 22:02

Bizarre how this hasn't been fed back on

TheGirlWhoLived · 10/11/2019 20:51

I’ve tried it lots and have much to say Grin
