This is the feedback thread for the 250 Mumsnetters who have been testing new Sanctuary Spa product Wet Skin Moisture Miracle.

Here’s what Sanctuary Spa has to say: “Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is our brand new body lotion that is designed to be applied to wet skin. Faster absorbing & quicker to use than a regular lotion, this is the ultimate moisturiser to use when you are short on time.”

“This unique way of moisturising capitalises on skin’s peak hydration moment (when it’s wet) & is clinically proven to lock in double the hydration for instantly softer & smoother skin. Soaking instantly into the skin, this ultra-light & non-greasy moisturiser infused with apricot oil & avocado oil will leave your skin feeling amazing all day. Plus Long Lasting Fragrance technology means your skin will be fragranced with the signature Sanctuary scent for up to 12 hours.”

Testers, please ensure you test the product at least three times and then give your feedback by answering the below questions:

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?
  2. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?
  3. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?
  4. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?

I've already left my feedback but just an addendum to say I've managed to get awfully sunburned today - usual story of making sure the kids are topped up but not looking after myself. I've just had a cold shower and thankfully packed the tester size bottle and have just covered myself in it. My skin feels much better already and it is s really soothing. I might even have another shower before bed just so I can use it again!

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?
It was really quick and easy to use. So much quicker than a normal moisturiser as you didn't need to let it dry into your skin.
  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?
Before using this I hadn't used any moisturiser for about a week on my body and I definitely noticed smoother skin. I'm not too sure that it made my skin feel as smooth as a 'normal' moisturiser but for quickness and ease it worked a treat.
  1. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?
I love the Sanctuary scent. One of my favourites from all the different ranges around. I don't feel the scent lasted that well though compared to an out of shower moisturiser.
  1. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
I would definitely purchase the product again and would use it in the week when I am short on time but think I would also use my usual body moisturiser when I have more time. I'd highly recommend for time saving.

I am so sorry my feedback is late. My whole family has been laid low b a dreadful bug in the last two weeks resulting in two seperate hospital stays and my son developing seizures.

However with all the hospital visits I've had plenty of showers so lots of opportunity to do the testing if no time to sit down and think of feedback.

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?

Very, I'm specaturaly lazy with these sort of things even though I have very dry skin. It's really quick and easy to use after a shower and no waiting around for it to dry in is perfect for me as I can never spend the time to do it.

  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?

I was impressed, my skin is a lot softer especially on my legs. In fact I didn't realise how dry my skin really was until I used this and realised it could feel so much softer!

  1. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?

I don't mind it. I quite like the smell but probably would try other options. It lasted a few hours.

  1. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
Yes I would especially if there was range of different scents to try out. I would recommend it and my friends I gave the samples too were really pleased.

Apologies again for not getting this done before the deadline.

I have been testing this product.

  1. I know some have complained about the tube & the consistency of the moisturiser. I love both. Packaging is a real bete noir of mine as I have a disability that affects my hands and grip. I struggle with most things (opening & squeezing in particular). This is probably the only body moisturiser I've tried that I haven't cried using. That is HUGE for me. Whoever designed this packaging, thank you thankyou thankyou. I also liked the small ones, and hope Sanctuary continue to do these, maybe as a travel size?

Very quick and easy to use, and soaks in quickly - no greasy feel afterward.

  1. I wasn't sure if there was much difference in the smoothness of my skin, so asked DH. He had a quick feel and said my skin is much softer (then kept stroking my arm - not like him).
  1. I wasn't sure I'd like the scent. I have asthma and most scents set it off. This did not. It is subtle and lasts several hours. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it has grown on me (I like it now). An unscented version would be a great idea too, I would buy it for the rare days I want to wear perfume so it definitely could not clash.

My skin often reacts to scented products (eczema, psoriasis, and now menopausal) with itching and rashes. I had absolutely no problems using this.

  1. I have already recommended it. I will buy it, but will need to look out for special offers as I'm unemployed and can't really afford treats. Having said that, I do see this as affordable compared to other things - hopefully I'll find work soon.
KarenHL · 18/07/2017 22:47

Just want to point out with 1 above, body moisturisers normally make me cry as so damn awkward and painful to open, and get the product out (especially near the end). Major culprits have been the in-shower moisturizers you wash off before drying.

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use? Really easy, just turn the shower off, apply and get on with your day.
  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product? It didn't make it as soft as I'd expected but still improved the texture of my skin. It didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or claggy (as normal body creams do for me)
  2. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin? Love the sanctuary scent and lasted quite well considering I work in a sweaty kitchen!
  3. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it? yes, if it was on offer and I'd definitely recommend it.
caffeineanddryshampoo · 19/07/2017 10:57
  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use? I put it on while wet in the shower as per instructions and I felt wet and greasy and then it rubbed off onto my towel. Sorry but I don't seem to understand the point of this. I know everyone else loves it but it just made me drippy.
  2. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product? I felt a bit wet and greasy.
  3. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin? I didn't like the smell, smells like old lady's perfume. Lasted a while after putting it on.
  4. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it? No, I'll just stick to regular body moisturisers.
gheaney · 19/07/2017 18:58

This product is so quick and easy to use, minimal sticky residue that left quickly. The scent I thought was subtle and did last right though to evening, I kept smelling myself to check! Like others I probably put too much out bottle and on but my skin stayed soft all day and my normal dry patches were gone after first use.
I would definety buy this product if it was a a reasonable price as I think you'd quickly go through bottle.

StampyIsMyBoyfriend · 20/07/2017 20:35

Took this on holiday and it was lovely after a day in the sun. Smells great, and absorbs quickly - I hate sticky feeling creams. Would recommend, but not sure it's heavy duty for very dry elbows etc.

caramelchaos · 21/07/2017 15:11

Sorry I'm late! I absolutely loved the moisturiser! Much better than traditional body lotions!

  1. Very very quick and easy to use.... Only took a minute and meant I could get dressed straight away without feeling sticky.
  2. My skin felt very soft after using, even after the first time.
  3. I liked the smell but didn't feel that it lasted. In fact, once I had towelled myself I could barely smell it.
  4. I will absolutely be buying this again and recommending to everyone e! I tend to avoid body lotion as I can't be bothered waiting on it dry a bit, so this was my ideal product test! Smile
flakebaby · 21/07/2017 17:24
  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?
So so easy. I never have time moisturise and doing this so simple to add in to shower routine
  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?
Quite smooth
  1. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?
Scent mild, didn't last. Smells like other products from brand
  1. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
I would purchase it again and recommend it if you do not moisturise due to hassle factor
RueDeWakening · 23/07/2017 17:00
  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?
It was quick! I'm quite impressed actually - I don't often bother with body lotion because of the faff, but I like this.
  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?
I liked it, my skin felt soft (in fact even my DS age 7 commented on it, god knows how scaly it usually feels :o )
  1. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?
I love the smell of Sanctuary products, have done ever since I first visited the spa in Covent Garden. It lasted quite well on my skin, but even better on my towels, which at least means the male members of the house don't steal them and cover them in boy-grime :o
  1. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
I'd definitely recommend it, but only to people who like the smell as it is quite strong to start with. I'd probably purchase it again as a treat, depending on the price.
Kerfuffled · 23/07/2017 17:44
  1. Very quick and easy to use. Ideal for a rushed morning shower.
  1. My skin felt very soft and smooth. However I don't think it had the staying power of a normal moisturiser- by the end of the day my legs in particular looked and felt unmoisturised.
  1. I found the scent quite pleasant. I didn't love it but found it acceptable and it lasted until the end of the day.
  1. I may buy it again depending on price. I don't feel the moisturiser penetrated particularly well, it's great for a quick moisturise but I don't think it could replace a proper moisturiser in my routine. I also got through the tube fairly quickly. I would probably recommend it though, as I think it's a great concept, it just needs some slight improvement. I'd also love to see a version with some fake tan in!
milliemoon · 23/07/2017 20:16
  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?
Very quick and very easy, I was able to apply more moisturiser then I usually would because it is so easy to apply
  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?
It did feel soft but perhaps not as soft as my normal moisturiser (a sanctuary one)
  1. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?
Yes it was nice and lasted
  1. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
I'm unsure I would buy it again as i do still prefer my other moisturiser but I would definitely welcome it if part of a gift set

Thank you for the product, have really enjoyed trialling it!

star1000 · 03/08/2017 14:37
  1. This was brilliant, so quick to apply and saved so much time doing it at the end of my shower compared to my usual drying, then applying moisturiser. An amazing concept that is perfect for everyday use!
  2. I think that my skin felt really smooth and soft. It's not quite as strong as a rich moisturiser or body butter but definitely gives a great smooth feel, great for busy days.
  3. I really liked the scent and found it like the smell I would normally go for.
  4. Yes I would buy again and have already mentioned it to some of my friends at work.

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use? It is extremely quick to use this product, you can put it in your wet skin after bath or shower and it absorbs quickly, you wipe your skin with the towel and ready> you will have lovely scent around you.
  2. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product? My skin got better, because I am able to use the product daily. it gives enough moisture and makes the skin radiant and beautiful.
  3. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin? My favorite one is the Green lemon and orange blossom one, just love it, because it is so refreshing.
  4. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
I would recommend it, if u do not have time to moisturize, this is the perfect product for you. And I will buy the next product, when I finished the current one, same brand, same scent. Just love it.
tisha934 · 06/07/2018 05:14

i wasnt selected on this trial but i buy it so i want to share my opinion

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?
I found it easy to apply and the packaging was user friendly with wet hands! The product itself was a little light/runny but not too bad. A lot lighter and less greasy than the traditional/classic sanctuary body butter/ lotion.
  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product?
I thought there was a noticeable difference, and felt softer and hydrated after using it.
  1. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin?
I really liked the scent and thought it was just about right. Any more would be a bit overpowering!
  1. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it?
At the right price, yes! And I'd certainly recommend it ;)
Ladylucky99 · 10/07/2018 13:23

I wasn’t selected by mumsnet for this trial, however I have been using this product and wanted to share my feedback, to add I have also been using the two new scents that are out - White Lily & Damask Rose and Green Lemon & Orange Blossom

  1. How quick and/or easy was Santuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle to use?

I found it incredibly quick and easy to use. While still wet in the shower, having turned it off, I quickly apply the lotion and then when getting put dry myself as normal.

  1. How soft or smooth did your skin feel after using the product? It felt incredibly smooth and soft and continued to do so throughout the day.
  2. Do you like the Sanctuary scent? Did you think it lasted on your skin? Yes the scents are gorgeous, especially the two new ones. The scent is long lasting too
  3. Would you purchase the product again? Would you recommend it? Yes definitely, this has completely changed my sin routine going forward. I never had time to moisturise previously but now I do
margaret25 · 08/06/2019 08:21

I love sanctuary products and use them regularly, however on trying this moisture miracle, I found lathering it on all over whilst wet then drying off with the towel was a waste of time. The towel just rubs it all off. I DON’T SEE THE POINT!!!
