My biggest skin issues are large pores - particularly on my nose and chin - and oily skin. I am fed up of being self conscious but cannot find anything to make the pores look better. I am watching this thread with interest as I may need to invest in this product if the feedback is good.

The biggest issue I have is dry skin which then flakes

Biggest issue is sensitive skin that goes red and flaky when I react to something.
Followed by big hormonal spots (that also go red and flaky)
Followed by wrinkles (but everyone gets those eventually so I've decided not to care even though I got them in my 20s sob )

Chuffingchuff · 02/06/2017 16:10

My first impression was that I loved the packaging. Very neat and tidy, smooth and simple for the cleanse and polish. The moisturiser looked great, really like the pot it's in.

I haven't used Liz Earle before however I had heard of the products so was eager to try them for myself.

The cleanse and polish was great to use. Easy instructions, left my skin feeling so smooth and soft I could tell all the dirt and grime was gone. I then applied the moisturiser which left my skin a little oily. However my face has never done well with moisturiser so could just be my skin. The moisturiser had quite a strong smell to it, I didn't like the smell but I didn't actively dislike it.

I noticed straight away how my skin felt after using the cleanse and polish. Very smooth and soft, but personally I didn't notice a difference with my skin from before I used the product.

I would award -

A natural product that works - 4 stars
Suitable for all skin types - 5 stars
Simple to use - 5 stars

I would definitely recommend cleanse and polish to my friends, it is affordable, lasts a long time and has a great effect.

In regards to the superskin moisturiser, I don't have a great track record with my face and moisturising. It tends to block my pores and cause spots and unfortunately was. L different with this product. When applying it felt light and easy to apply. It soaked into the skin quickly, but I didn't notice a difference to my skin softness.

I would award -

A natural product that works - 3 stars
Suitable for all skin types - 4 stars
Easy to use - 5 stars

I would recommend this to my friends if they weren't prone to spots like I am.

With spot-prone skin that's rapidly ageing and not enough money to try different things to see which suits me best!

My biggest issue with my combination skin is spotiness followed by dry skin. I can never seem to find the perfect middle ground!

My biggest facial skin issue is tightness after a shower. It drinks moisturiser, but that moisuriser has to me liquid, not too creamy or I break out in spots.
And tired looking skin, which needs regular (acid) exfoliation to pep it up.

NerrSnerr · 02/06/2017 19:23

My biggest skin issue is spots. They are getting worse the older I get.

MummyMummyMumMum · 02/06/2017 20:41

I usually have very dry skin but before my period I get greasy and hormonal acne around my chin area pops up.

vickyors · 02/06/2017 21:13

Non- tester: I hate that I have pimples around my chin half way through the month, but also the beginning of lines around me eyes and between my nose! What product will sort them both?!! I've tried various things.. but there doesn't seem to be a simple answer!

duggerlugs · 02/06/2017 21:50

No matter how much I exfoliate, wash and tone and moisturise I still get dry flaky skin latches over a spot or just randomly on my nose and chin...looks horrid once you apply makeup and clogs in the skin.

My biggest skin issue is having combination skin that gifts me with dry bits, sensitive bits & blemishes

If there was a regime I could follow that would address all of these, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

frankie001 · 03/06/2017 00:43

Non tester : I have really dry skin.

ChocAuVin · 03/06/2017 00:51

Prone to breakouts, oily t zone, dry cheeks, need a moisturiser that is light and quickly absorbed - if it feels wet on my face then my skin turns pink and warm and itchy

My biggest skin care issue is acne. Since reducing breastfeeding when LO was starting a solid diet ive broken out in horrendous acne. Bright red face and lumpy, often painful skin. 1 year later and antibiotics finally have it mostly under control

I haven't used any Liz Earle products before, this is probably the priciest range I've used. I change my skincare routine from time to time and was most recently using the Superdrug hot cloth cleanser. The bag was a nice tidy way to keep the cleanser and cloths together, although I haven't kept the bag for future use. The packaging looks clean and modern, I think the moisturiser looks similar to the No 7 range however. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I like the smell of both products - quite light but reminiscent of spa treatments. The cleanser feels luxuriously thick, and the moisturiser is a good thickness too - not too heavy or too light.

Cleanse & Polish™
I would say there were instant results with this product. My face felt clean but not dried out like other cleansers I've used. I would award it 5 stars for being simple to use, 5 stars for being a natural product that works. It's hard to award stars as to whether it would be suitable for all skin types - it certainly didn't aggravate my skin at all.

I would recommend this product to my friends. I think it's very good value for money and has worked really well for me.

Superskin™ Moisturiser with Natural Neroli

As with the cleanser I saw immediate results with this moisturiser. My skin looked dewy and plumped, as well as being very soft to touch even a couple of hours later.
I would give it 5 stars for being a natural product that works, 5 stars for being simple to use, see my answer above about suitability for all skin types.

I would certainly recommend this moisturiser to my friends, even though it is over my usual price range. The combination of the cleanser and moisturiser has really improved the appearance of my skin and so it is well worth the money.

sallyc06 · 03/06/2017 10:54

My skin has been changing as I have got older with it becoming increasingly dry and now age spot appearing, also get spots sometimes, would love to try Cleanse & Polish, might do my poor old tired skin some good!

My skin problem is dullness & dryness. It's making me look older than I am and I don't like wearing makeup any more because I never look rested. I wish I had glowingly clean skin, I wouldn't mind the wrinkles then!!

Candyperfumegirl · 03/06/2017 14:58

My first impressions:

Are you a Liz Earle beauty fan already?

Yes, I really like the products I was sent, i'd never tried Luz Earle before (bit upmarket & $$ for me) but the productsbare fab! Was also pleased to see they were veggie friendly, as a vegetarian it can be hard to find products that don't contain animal bits!

What’s your regular skincare routine?

I don't really have a beauty regime, although I am trying to adopt one now I've turned 35! I use a moisturiser in the morning if I remember. I use micellar water to take my make up off (just bb cream & mascara) then moisturise.

On the products sent - what are your initial thoughts on the packaging, textures, instructions, smell etc?

It all looks very high end, I love the packaging and wouldn't feel embarrassed for this one being 'on display' in the bathroom (or wherever).

My fave is the hot cloth cleanser, such a lovely pamper product and I lover the texture, the feel on my skin and how my skin looks/feels after use. I love the cloths too, like a little exfoliation! The cream is nice too but perhaps a little rich for my skin, I'd prob use this one as a night cream as I wake up with lovely soft skin. Jury's out on the fragrance...not sure if I like it or not at this point.

My biggest issue is tight, dry, flakey skin.

georgedawes · 03/06/2017 17:50

Non tester - I cannot find a moisturiser (no matter how many I try) that does not give me spots. Even in my late 30s!

Hormonal acne and aging worries me

Funkyferret · 03/06/2017 18:17

Non tester here. My biggest problem is just a real lack of radiance. Skin looks dull and tired. I think I need a complete life style overhaul to tackle it.
