Non tester.
I have dry and sometimes sensitive skin that's a right pain!

WonderLime · 16/06/2017 13:25

Non tester: I get patchy dry patches on my forehead and cheeks, which leaves foundation flaky and hard to put on properly.

I have very dry skin especially around the eyes and it can be irritated by some moisturisers

Thank you for the opportunity to test these products.

First Impressions
I haven't used Liz Earle products before but my mum has for years so I was very aware of the brand. I have very dry skin and usually use The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter, BioDerma Hydrabio Serum, Oils of Life oil and La Roche Posay Nutritic Intense Moisturiser.

The packaging is nice and looks like premium brand products. I was surprised at how thick the cleanser was compared to my usual cleanser, but I found the scent to be a bit too heavy for my liking. The instructions were clear and the cloths thick (compared to the usual cheap ones that I usually use!). After use, my skin was not left feeling dry like most cleansers do.

I initially liked the smell of the moisturiser - neroli is one of my favourite scents. However, after application there was an odd, unpleasant 'back smell' that I really didn't like. The instructions for massaging it in were useful. On the first application I applied far too much and it took ages to sink in to my skin. I soon realised that a little goes a long way. My skin didn't feel dry after using it which surprised me.

Cleanse and Polish
As stated above, this product left my skin feeling comfortable and not dry. I would rate it as 5/5 as a natural product that works, 5/5 as suitable for all skin types and 5/5 as being simple to use.
I probably would recommend this product to my friends. The only thing that I didn't like was the strong smell.

Superskin Moisturiser
I noticed that my skin was comfortable and not dry after using this which was a surprise as my skin is extremely dry. I did find that it made my face shiny all day though which doesn't happen with my usual moisturiser so I only use it at night now. I'd give 4/5 for it being a natural product that works, 2/5 as being suitable for all skin types (I imagine oily skin would find this too heavy) and 5/5 as being simple to use. I'm not sure if I would recommend this to my friends, it would depend upon their skin concerns. It is pricey but I imagine that it would last for a long time as such a small amount is needed at each application. I also found that I had a few spots around my mouth which I have never had before.

Falconhoof1 · 17/06/2017 14:19

Non tester: biggest skin issue is massive zits! Even though I'm well past my teenage years I often get enormous plukes. I cleanse every night but nothing stops them!

Moanyoldcow · 17/06/2017 14:31

My biggest skin issue is acne and dryness. I manage to keep it mostly under control but my biggest problem is finding an exfoliator and moisturiser which work well for my skin.

dragonara53 · 18/06/2017 01:02

Non tester, my problem is redness and wrinkles.

Lapinlapin · 18/06/2017 07:13

Tester here.

I've already posted about my first impressions, so here's the second part of my review.
Cleanse & Polish™
Would you say you noticed instant results with the Cleanse & Polish™? Please describe
I'm not sure about instant results, but it did remove make-up well and make my skin feel nice and clear and taut. I also loved the hot cloth! It seems such a simple idea really, but running the tap until the water was really hot and then using the cloth really made such a difference! I usually just use warm water which I splash on my face - nowhere near as good as the hot cloth.I love the fact it came with two, so you always have one whilst the other is in the wash.

Yes, I would. It smells nice and seems to do the job really well. My face felt much better after a few days - a bit more 'glowing' somehow. I shall definitely buy it again myself.

I have to say I didn't like the moisturiser nearly as much. The pot is pretty and it looks luxurious, but I'm afraid I really didn't like the smell. The moisturiser is thick and feels nice as you put it on, but I have combination skin, and I just don't think it was the right moisturiser for me. I came out in a few spots a few days after using it, so had to stop. If you have very dry skin, it would probably suit you much better, but it wasn't for me, I'm afraid.

Lately I've been having really bad breakouts. Yet sensitive everywhere else I always had great skin so I don't know what's changed

Amarjit2008 · 19/06/2017 19:02

I would like to try this skincare range to see if it's suitable for men. A mate of mine used cleanse and polish and highly recommended it.

debjani · 20/06/2017 09:04

My biggest skin issue is oily pores on the sides of my nose that get clogged up

Srathore · 20/06/2017 09:13

Still hoping to win this giveaway for this opportunity to review the products. My oily combination skin is in desperate need of rescue and a lot of healing for my blemishes and scars.

Maudlinmaud · 20/06/2017 10:10

Hello. I'm a tester.

First impressions.
Like everyone else, I've heard lots about Liz Earle beauty product's. But... I'd not tried them. I wear make up every day, so cleansing is a must. My usual routine is removing make up with simple wipes (I know Shock) followed by Dior hydra life cleanser. This gets it all off and my skin feels comfortable after, then I'll pop a bit of serum and moisturiser on.
I really likes the packaging of cleanse and polish and thought the little bag would come in handy for travelling. The product smelt fresh and the texture was thick but light. The instructions where clear.

Cleanse & Polish
I think I'm hooked. This cuts my cleansing routine in half. Slap it on your face on top of make up, massage it in, then use the cloth soaked in warm water and you're done. Honestly, not a trace of make up was left on my skin. And no wipes!
I will award this StarStarStarStarStar
It claims to be natural. Great.
It is suitable for my skin (dehydrated)
It is simple to use.
Yes, I will recommend this product to my friends.

Superskin Moisturiser with Natural Neroli
This is where I get a bit picky.
I didn't really notice a huge difference with this product. If anything I preferred my old trusty favourites. It is a lovely product and smells gorgeous, it has plenty of slip and as a moisturiser it does its job. I don't think my skin likes the neroli though, and it made my eyes water at first. I'm still using it because I want to give it a fair run, it's not a tacky moisturiser and my skin feels lovely and soft. I haven't had any breakouts.
I'm going to award this product StarStarStar.
It claims to be natural. Great.
It is suitable for my skin.
It is simple to use.

Thanks for letting me test these products Mumsnet and Liz Earle.
I will certainly buy the cleanse and polish again. I will continue using the Superskin and if I have more success I'll possibly purchase it too.

Many Many Thanks Flowers

cautiousoptimist1 · 20/06/2017 15:10

Non tester.

My biggest facial skin issue is dull looking skin.

BusyMum86 · 20/06/2017 23:20

Non tester- my biggest issue is definitely the acne. At 31 I'd hope I was over it but nope :(

serendipity1980 · 21/06/2017 09:56

Thank you so much for letting me try Liz Earle. I haven't used it before so
It was a whole new experience.

I loved the way it was packaged in the bag and the cloths were great although I only do one white wash a week so it would have been better to have a third.

When I first used it, the cloth and polisher made my face so smooth, it was wonderful. It didn't dry my face Out. I love the smell of the face cream and use it morning and night. I'm not sure how much it has improved my skin over time but I prefer the exfoliating effect of the cloths compared to my usual flannel and face wash.

. I would award 5 stars for each product and would definitely recommend to friends although I probably wouldn't buy it myself because i expect it's rather expensive!

Both products are last a long time, a little goes a long way, and I'm enjoying them.
Thank you so much for choosing me.

Amarjit2008 · 21/06/2017 14:29

I would like to have participated in this study

Buzzardbird · 21/06/2017 14:58

My biggest skin issue is that although everyone bangs on about double-cleansing and a thorough cleansing regime, my skin ends up feeling 'stripped' of vital natural moisture and I have to moisturize then with non-natural moisturizer.

DungballInADress · 21/06/2017 15:08

So I've been using the products about a month now.

The C&P is still just as lovely. In this hot weather it's incredibly refreshing and I can definitely see a difference in my skin. It's brighter, and glows more. An absolutely 5 out of 5 on all scales, I will be purchasing this product again and recommending to friends and family.

The moisturiser...hmm. I'm still using it, and have found that it's quite pleasant if I use it very sparingly. It helped a small patch of very mild sunburn I picked up on my shoulders a few weeks ago and if I use minimal amounts it definitely boosts the appearance of my skin. It is quite heavy though and I'm not sure it entirely suits my skin type. I would give it a 3/5 as a natural product that works, 2/5 suitable for all skin types (it's not best suited to oily skins) and 5/5 for easy to use. I probably would not purchase the product myself, but would recommend to friends and family who have drier or more mature skin types.

A massive thank you for selecting me for this test. I have so enjoyed it. Definite C&P convert; nothing else compares!

jp04 · 21/06/2017 15:28

My main skin care problems are large pores and fine lines :/
Thanks,JP

Srathore · 21/06/2017 15:40

Has this campaign finished? Or are we still waiting to announce the winner?

Ramblings · 21/06/2017 18:11

Non tester - acne and dry skin, really horrid combo!

MrsAlwaysRight · 22/06/2017 18:19

Non tester

My main issue is dry patches on my face which makes applying make up difficult.
