Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before? Yes, I was aware of it, but had never purchased it.
Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? My dog loves absolutely every item that has been sent. I have only fed the wet pouches a couple of times as treats as my vet has always recommended dry food.
Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why? I will continue with the treats but I am not comfortable with the different additives in comparison to the previous brand we were feeding.
Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? I think it's a decent pet food with fair pricing, but would only recommend based on these factors (and that my dog enjoys it).
Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app? Not something I will use as not enough benefit for the time to use it.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? Probably not, unless they are people that are always on a device!

Charlie my 8 year old mixed breed is a fussy eater NORMALLY LOL 1.yes I was aware of the pedigree brand and range of food before testing it, have purchased few times in past.2was very impressed by quality of the food, loved the single use wet, so easy to open and squeeze it out, quick chop with old dog fork and ready to go .have always given a mix of wet and dry food in past so carried on using both together.3ystill really shocked how much food was sent had to but it under stairs,es I would buy in the future, especially the chews which I buy if on offer, my fussy dog is not as fussy on this food he seems to enjoy it .4 if it comes up in conversation yes I would recommend to other dog owners,5 sorry not really into aps on my phone but think for someone who is sounds a good idea, 6 yes would recommend ap to dog owners , thank you for picking us to do this trial Charlie my dog is licking his lips every meal time

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before? Yes I was aware of it and we have purchased in the past, although mainly the Dentastix which we do buy regularly.

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products. We normally buy a complete dry food, as our dog is quite sensitive. She seems to be enjoying the wet food with the dry, however although we gradually bought the diet in she has been scooting rather a lot. She enjoys the dentastix and treats which we use sparingly as she's a beagle and extremely greedy (shameless?).
Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why? We will continue to feed the dentastix to our dog but unlikely to continue with the other food if she keeps reacting in this way. Her current food has a higher meat content and seems to be better quality (as reflected I suppose in the cost).
Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not? I would neither recommend nor tell owners to avoid - some things work for some dogs and doesn't work for others.
Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app? A bit pointless IMHO, surely as a dog owner you know how much food and exercise your dog should be getting. Feels like someone has told Pedigree that Social Media/Apps are the future so one has been created rather than there being a need for it.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not? No, for the reasons above. Maybe useful for new dog owners?

lucky wouldnt eat the dried food at first after 2 weeks she is eating them a little but wont eat too many which i was suprised as she doesnt usually eat any dried food wouldnt entertain the treats turned her nose up she didnt like the dentastix the packets she only liked the beef and rabbit at first wouldnt entertain the other flavours after say one week she will eat the turkey and carrots also the beef and vegetables but wouldnt have the chicken one after 2 weeks she is eating the chicken one as well now so she is eating all the flavours now.

Q3 In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the Full Pedigree Diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet which particular products would you consider and why?

A3 I wouldnt feed lucky the Full Pedigree Diet but i would buy the pouches as she exceptionally loves the flavours and its a change from her current food which i do buy the pedigree pouches but usually in jelly not gravy with vegetables

Our dog is a labrador she's 5 and being a lab thinks mainly of a stomach (a girl after my own heart!)
We tested the dry dog food and wet meaty pouches, we also had the dental stix/ 'tasty bites crunchy pockets with chicken' and 'tasty bites cheesy nibbles.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?
Yes i was aware, occasionally have purchased 'treats' for training.

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.
Our dog really enjoyed the meat pouches, which she wolfed down! She ate the biscuit, but did leave a bit in her bowl (unusual for a labrador!) the dental stix are going down well, as are the treats

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?
Unlikely as her usual food gives her a very glossy coat, makes her less 'fizzy' (since she went over to pedigree only feeding, it's as if she has springs in her paws! Which is a bit much as she's a medium sized dog!) and leaves less residue to clear up!

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes to the training treats, and dental stix, but no to the biscuit and meat. The treats are a small size making the easy to pop into a small pot to keep handy in a pocket when walking. The dental stix do seem to have reduced pong breath. But the meal no, due to overly bouncy, overly pooing and less glossy coated hound!

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?
I had problems with using the app, but this is to do with faulty ipad, and not the app (having issues with all apps at present)
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
Currently can't comment, but hoping to get ipad sorted before end of the trial, as currently only on day 16 of trial.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before? New to dog owning so we hadn't purchased it before. Aware of Pedigree as its a brand leader.
Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products. It's going down very well, the denta sticks are a big hit as we don't half like to chew stuff at the minute. Fine with both the dry and wet food.
Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why? Would consider the denta stick things and would definitely buy it for him if it compared favourably price wise.
Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not? Can't see a reason why I wouldn't recommend it.
Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app? I've got a cruddy smartphone so tried and failed with this, did think it would benefit newbies to dog ownership though.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not? I don't think that I managed to test it enough to recommend it.

I was aware of Pedigree dog food before. It was the first brand I went to when we got our puppy. He started on the yellow bags of puppy food supplemented with canned wet food. I then progressed to the adult food at that stage but he wasn't at all keen on the adult version.

The complete feeding diet is a great idea - you don't need to think whether the dog wants wet or dry food as they get both. Liked the idea of the pouches as they are more recyclable and lightweight - plus the food slipped out without any being left inside. The bags of dry food are a handy size. Loved the treats and the dentastix.

Would definitely consider using in future. Already use the wet food in cans and mix with his normal dry food. Would use the treats and dentastix as dog loves them.

I'm not a dog expert so wouldn't advise others what to feed their dog - but would definitely say what my dog eats and how happy I am with that.

The idea of the Tracks app was great and very easy to navigate. I would say it should be more of a guide. It gave recommendations on how much food to give based on dog's stats and activity level. My dog is on the go most of the day. He gets a min 1 hour walk in morning and a shorter one at night and runs and plays outside lots during the day. I ticked the box that his activity level was 'high' and yet after his first walk of the day he was already at 150% of daily exercise - and it wasn't even 10am!
Plus I was giving him twice the amount of food recommended by the app. Anyway a routine trip to the vet and they confirmed he is in perfect health - so perhaps the app needs to define what 'high' amount is. It appears to state that one hour of off the lead is high.
Also it wouldn't post to Facebook.

Tracks app - I would not recommend it from the point of view that people might use it and take it at its word and feed the amount the app states - my dog would be seriously underfed (and he's slim and at the bottom of weight range anyway - as confirmed by vet).
However if just to be used as a tool for recording exercise - it could be good for dogs that don't get enough exercise.

Yes was very aware and have bought food, treats and dentastix before

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.
Very impressed with the products. The individual pouches are very handy in portion sizes and Tiki loves all the flavours. Big fan of the treats and dentastix also, she was hesitant at first wth the new treats but devours them now.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

Quite likely to consider this diet and food for tiki regularly, she seems to enjoy it and has plenty of energy.

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes especially the dentastix, they last her a while and keep her busy, even if she does play with it first.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?

Didn't use the app

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend the app to friends with dogs even if it's just for them to double check what they are doing - especially new owners

Yes I am aware of Pedigree but fed mine supermarkets own brand

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

I was incredibly impressed, the variety of ingredients and the nutritional values.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

Yes I would happily continue to feed them pedigree. I never chose to go with the supermarkets own, it's actually what our vet recommended as she stated it was as good as alot of the main brands out there but so far my dogs get so excited about meal time that it's clear they love it. Their coats look better and cleaning up after them has been alot better experience

Q1. Yes, Pedigree dog food is probably one of the most recognised pet brands.

Q2. I have a beagle puppy and she seems to have an endless appetite, however, we found with the complete Pedigree (wet and dry) it kept her satisfied, and she wasn't sniffing around her bowl for more food.

Q3. Based on my experience during this trial, I will continue to feed her the complete diet with Pedigree.

Q4. Yes I am happy and willing to share my positive experience using Pedigree and how my beagle is happy and content with the complete diet.

Q5. It isn't an app I would consider needing or wanting to use really. It just doesn't appeal to me.

Q6. Probably not, I don't see the overall benefits,.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

Yes for the training videos. Or if their dog was overweight, it might help them realise they needed less food/more exercise.

My 7 year old Border Collie has been eating the wet pouches, dry food and dentestix.

  1. Yes, we previously purchased Pedigree tins with gravy and the occasional treat by Pedigree
  2. I really like the idea of the complete diet and the guidance on how much to feed my dog rather than just guessing the correct portions
  3. Due to the small amount in the pouch I would probably go back to tins, it would be more expensive to have the pouch. I will continue with the dentestix though
  4. I would recommend Pedigree as the quality of the product, especially the meat is so much better than other brands.
  5. I like the idea of the app but I havent had time to use it like I should. I think its a really good idea for owners that have overweight pets etc so they can get them back to a regualr diet
  6. Yes I would, it may not be for everybody but worth a try

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?

Yes, was aware of Pedigree, as I have owned this breed of dog for 35 years. Have only occasionally bought Pedigree when they were puppies, ( but quickly changed away from it, as I have always found it far to rich, and not my food of choice for my dogs)

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

I have never fed my dogs "supermarket available" food, and the first thing that put me off was the ingredients and colourings in both the dry and wet Pedigree.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

Unlikely, as unfortunately my dog wasn't tolerating the change of diet....and after a week of slowly incorporating his normal and the new food, he needed a vet visit to deal with blocked anal glands!
He did love the taste of the pouches though. He walked away from the dry food. The Dentastix went down well.....( but he hardly chewed them, so I can't really think they are cleaning his teeth on the way down!)

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

No, unfortunately it doesn't seem to suit a lot of dogs, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?

Found it clunky and it grossly overstated the daily amounts needed for my dog.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

No, I think it is too gimmickly and Pedigree are trying a "one size fits all" approach, which is not particularly good for different breeds of dogs.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?
I was aware, but just thought it was another dog food brand, have tried some before, but didn't realise all the research etc that went into it.

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

I never really knew what and how much I should be feed my dog, especially including treats and snacks. I never knew it was best to provide a balance between wet and dry food. Always thought it was best for my dog to eat mainly dry, heard that wet food was bad for teeth and thought that dry provided everything needed. I know my dog loves wet food and eats her dry.
I started as suggested by mixing old dry food in with new to get dog used to it. I had a problem in that as soon I I have her the pedigree food , her old food was left in the dish (and all over the floor so that she could get to the new stuff!) I couldn't believe it, she turned away from her old food every time I offered it ! I thought sh liked her old stuff, feel bad now for giving it god last year or so. I know what she will be eating in future.
Dog is now loving her wet food to start day (and also all day for it to pass) and then the dry and treats throughout day - sorted.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

My dog loves the whole package and seems really happy and healthy on it. I'm amazed . It's definitely a keeper.
Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes definitely. I have already told many people that my dog dumped her old expensive food for this, and how happy she is with the full range and that the wet/dry combination is really working. My dog is so happy she acts like I'm giving her a treat every day feeding her the full range of wet dry treats and snacks.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?

Liked it, had to remember to take food every time but really useful tool.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes definitely really useful. Very impressed with pedigree full range here. Already recommended food range and the tracks app.

My dog is so happy that we got to try these products!, happy dog equals very happy owner. Makes me feels I am now doing best for my dog .

Thanks for letting us take part in this trial. I have a mountain of food in my cellar! My dog is a 7 year old Springer cross weighing about 17kg.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?

Yes I was aware of Pedigree. I have purchased the dentastix before, but no other Pedigree food.

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

She loves the sachets as most of the time she just has kibble. She liked the treats and she's already used to dentastix. To be honest she eats anything. However, she poos a LOT more than she did on her usual food. The dry food is only 4% meat - it's full of rubbish. Her usual kibble is 50% meat.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

No. The dry food is terrible quality 4% meat compared to her usual food of 50%. If she has wet food, it has an 80% meat content compared to 40% for pedigree. I tend to buy a supermarket brand of dental treats, but she has had dentastix before.

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

Absolutely not. As above - it is not good quality food. Plus we've had a poonami since starting on this food.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?

Thought it was a waste of time. I looked at it once and it gave me a totally different diet plan to the one I was sent.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

I don't think so. Most people I know already have dogs and I don't think this would be of interest to them.

Yes & yes

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

No I probably wouldn't go back to any Pedigree products due to the reaction she had to it.

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

I couldn't recommend a product that had a bad effect on my puppy.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?

It didn't have my puppies breed so it wasn't very useful for us.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

She does however look at me gone off when I other her the tube sticks, sometimes she will take one, and have a chew, I usually find it in whole left on the floor.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why? I'd happily carry on with the wet and dry food mix, I would love if we could get a measuring scoop for the dry food.

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, I'm happy, she seems healthy her coat looks good she eats her bowl full. I like the repeal able packaging on the dry food and the sachet puppy wet food is perfect and not too stinky for me to endure!

I like it, Admittedly I've not used the exercise tracker, I keep forgetting to start it when we go for a walk. But I like the idea!

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, it's relatively easy to navigate, I want very good at the health check bit mind, wasn't really sure on answering most the questions. I like the food quantity advice, would love if we could get a measuring scoop for the dry food.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?

Yes, I had purchased dental products before but not the main food items

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

Our dog loves it, and the mix of wet and dry food seems to be going down particularly well (our 2nd dog always has an envious face at feeding time). The dental sticks are a big hit as are the cheesy bites. All in all we have a very content dog. Our dog has a sensitive tummy and she can be funny with new foods, but so far so good - no issues arising in this department yet!

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?

I would consider it if it is cost effective for us.

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend it as an option

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?

Its good and nice to see how much exercise the dog is and should be getting. Was helpful with planning food amounts.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes. definitely.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?

Yes, its a brand that my parents fed to their dogs although I have not fed the wet or dry food to my dogs before. We fed dentastix daily before the trial and reduced to 3 a week whilst on the trial as advised by the app.

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.

Wonky legged rescue dog loved the addition of pouched wet food to his usual dry dog food and was noticeably more interested in heading to his food bowl after his morning walk, whereas before the wet food addition he was very much an eat when hungry dog. He wasn't so keen on the dry food on its own but we discovered that its just the right size to fit in his Kong so used it that way.
However, the app recommended feeding 4 pouches of wet food a day together with the dry food. This was far too much for him. In 3 weeks he had put on 3lbs, 1.5kg. Doesn't sound like much, but when you weigh 20kg putting on over 5% of your body weight in 3 weeks is significant, particularly as he has carpal valgus and we try to keep his weight and exercise constant. We hadn't reduced his exercise, only difference was the food. We cut down to one pouch morning and evening with an also reduced dry food amount and this seems to be better.

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?
No, not the full diet but the occasional pouch of wet food as a treat and we will continue with the dentastix which we were already using

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
Probably not due to our concerns with weight gain but dentastix, yes.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?
Poor, for our breed the apps exercise recommendations were completely out - springer spaniel one hour off lead exercise 100% daily exercise. He would be going absolutely potty with pent up energy if he only had an hour exercise a day!
I couldn't find a way to go in and add exercise details for dates that had already passed on the app. We were without internet for a few days so couldn't keep up to date with exercise log and now have several days where apparently he had no exercise.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
See above. For a new owner this would be a really useful starting point, or for someone looking to monitor their dogs diet and exercise re reducing weight, but it doesn't seem to take into account overall breed energy levels.

Q1. Were you aware of Pedigree® dog food before taking part in this product test? If so, have you ever purchased it before?
Yes, used to feed a previous dog pedigree

Q2. What are your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Complete Feeding diet your dog tested? We’d love your thoughts on the complete diet as well as the individual products.
Dog loves it. Dog's coat looks really good with it. Behaviour hasn't changed for the worst as some people suggested. Easy to feed. Quantities seem quite a lot though. I am feeding much less than the guidelines and I think that seems the right amount, any more and I think she would be ballooning in size. Dog cried in anticipation the first time I prepared her food!!!

Q3. In future, how likely are you to consider regularly feeding the full Pedigree® diet that your dog tested to your dog? If not the full diet, which particular products would you consider and why?
Would consider all of it. Generally stick to dried food though as it is easier and apparently better for her teeth. Wouldn't use the pouches as you need to feed so many, having to open so many is slightly annoying. Would use them if they came in larger sizes so I only had to open one pouch.

Q4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes. Dog seems happy, I'm happy. All good so far.

Q5. What were your overall impressions of the Pedigree® Tracks app?
Not used yet as I'm not sure how it works if different people walk the same dog. Will investigate.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pedigree® Tracks to other dog owners? If so, why? If not, why not?
Not sure yet.
