Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

Very good. I liked the non bulky packaging - although it was not recyclable - and I prefer the tablets which do not need to be unwrapped.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

Just as effective, I'd say. I usually use whatever has been on offer when dishwasher tablets are on the list, so this varies. The last ones I had were Fairy something)
.
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would, as better for the environment.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely buy them again - if they were on offer - £12 for 27 seems too expensive otherwise.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

I would.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Amazed, totally amazed. I really didn't think that the cleaning power would be as good - I thought that it would be a compromise, but this really works!
Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets? They were just as effective - I didn't notice any difference from using normal Finish or Fairy tablets - and yet they have fewer chemicals!
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? Yes
If so, why? Because I know that we are all ingesting too many chemicals and I'm sure that they cannot be good for us - I'm sure that we will discover more about what we have done to ourselves and our children in the future. I also think that environmentally speaking this has to be an improvement!
Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? Yes
If so, why? I would, because it has brilliant cleaning with less chemicals than other similar products - why have more chemicals if they aren't needed.
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family? Yes I would - for all of the reasons above

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Good, the tablets clean well, nothing has come out dirty.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
We usually use finish powerball tablets and the Power & Pure tablets are equally as good, possibly better with the added bonus that they use fewer chemicals.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I think a reduction in the amount of chemicals we use on a daily basis has to be a good thing, however I had never previously concerned about the chemicals used in the dishwasher.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would buy the product again if it was on offer, however I feel the price is too high to buy at full price.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
Yes, I would.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Really good, I did put a cleaner through before I used them which may have helped but thought I should give them a fair trial (the filter had not been previously put back properly and everything was a bit grubby). Good, I deliberately didn't rinse to really test them.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
Very good, even without rinsing they got all dishes sparkling clean.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, who wouldn't.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would if on offer but as we are poor I may have to keep rinsing and stick with supermarket brand. If money were no object then I would.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
Yes

I liked the packaging and the fact that the tablet contained less chemicals.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

Definately, the world needs to become more environmentally friendly.

I would if it were on offer, I wouldn't purchase it at the full RRP.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
I liked the packaging as it meant I didn't have detergent on my hands and I liked that there were less chemicals.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
We normally use finish tablets and I can't say that I noticed any difference at all.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would much prefer to use less chemicals but cost is a huge factor.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
I only tend to buy dishwasher tabs when they are on offer. If they were a reasonable price I would buy them over my usual choice.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
Yes. We share similar feelings on chemicals in the home.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
I liked the packaging, the shape of the bag meant that it stood up in my cupboard. I would prefer a recyclable packaging material though. The tablets were easy to remove from the bag and I liked not having to unwrap them. The bag was quite small and I run at least two dishwasher cycles a day so if I were to buy them I would need a much bigger size.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I usually use Finish Classic Powerball tablets. I liked the fact that you don't have to unwrap the Power and Pure tablets. I think the performance was better overall than my usual tablets, particularly on tea stains on bone china mugs, but not much improvement on burnt oven trays. I have used Fairy Platinum tablets recently and these seemed to perform better than the Power and Pure tablets therefore if I was going to use a premium dishwasher tablet rather than my usual ones then I would probably opt for the Fairy ones rather than the Finish ones.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
No I'm not really bothered about chemicals. The dishes are rinsed by the machine after they've been washed so the chemicals should be washed away. I would rather have really clean dishes than a lower chemical but less effective dishwasher tablet.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
Probably not unless they were on offer cheaper than my usual dishwasher tablets. I don't think the performance improvement was enough to justify the extra cost.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
I would say that I had tried them and they were good. I run the dishwasher often so I need to economise on the cost of the dishwasher tablets but someone who only runs their dishwasher once a day might not be as put off by the price.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

Good. I liked the claim that although the product contained less chemicals, my dishes would still get really clean. The price point seems high, but given I was really pleased with the cleanliness of my dishes I'd look out for this product at the supermarket and would definitely buy if it was on offer.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

Very. They really cut through the greasiest of dishes, like a baking tray coated in oil. No residues left behind either.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would prefer to use fewer chemicals - particularly as I'm a new mum and really want to minimise artificial/chemically products in the home. Having said that, I'm not interested in some eco product that won't get things properly clean!

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

I am likely to buy again, but probably only when on special offer - the price point is high

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Yes - I've been pleased with the results.

Other comments:

  • like the idea of "active oxygen" - sounds more natural yet powerful
  • actual product itself doesn't look particularly premium - not necessarily important but you are paying over the odds so I'd have liked the tablets to maybe look a bit fancier

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Very good. Smells nice and the plastic coating is preferable to the powdery tabs

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
Good, but no difference to the basic Finish I buy..

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
A good idea, but not something I'd really look for; price more significant unfortunately.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
Depends on the price.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
Yes if the price was ok

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

The Finish branding was familiar and gave the impression of a quality product. I liked the compact bag, it didn't take up much room in the cupboard. Good protective packaging meant the tablets were protected well. The tablets were easy to use any didn't generate powder spillage.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

Slightly better than normal, the dishes sparkled! I'd expected the reduced chemical formulation to be less effective, truthfully.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

As long as they cleaned as effectively I'd definitely favour fewer chemicals. Finish Power and Pure appear to have passed the test! I think fewer chemicals can only be good for the environment and our waterways. Making these small changes in the home should be the way forward.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely but only on special offer - the rrp is too high at present.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Absolutely!

  1. I have been really impressed with Finish Pure and Power. They give a great result and leave the dishwasher with a really fresh scent.
  2. I've found Finish Pure and power to leave my dishes really clean. I was really surprised by how effective the tablets were, especially given the lack of chemicals compared to regular dishwasher tablets (I have tried some of the 'Eco' brands before and have really found them wanting when it comes to effectiveness)
  3. I think that it's always preferable to use products with fewer chemicals, both in terms of our family's health as well as the environment but, as stated in q2, the quality of result is sometimes compromised in the process. It's really refreshing that Finish have produced something of a high quality which also has this aspect in mind. I will certainly be less afraid of spending money on these types of products in the future.
  4. I would definitely buy these dishwasher tablets again. They offer a decent alternative to regular dishwasher tablets.
  5. I have already been telling friends and family about Finish Pure and Power dishwasher tablets as they really work and offer a decent alternative to regular dishwasher tablets which contain a higher level of chemicals.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
They were fine but I was expecting outstanding results however I don't feel i got them
Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
Not as well there was some residue in a couple of espresso cups
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes as long as it cleaned as well. No one wants to use more chemicals than necessary particularly with a baby in the house.
Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
Possibly I like the less chemicals but worry they are doing a good enough job
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
No

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
They look very similar to the other Finish dishwasher tablets but a little paler in colour. I like Finish because they don't have wrappers.
Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I found they worked a little better at cleaning clear glasses and bowls and did not have the grittiness you can get sometimes.
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I had not really given the chemicals a thought before, but given the choice and if the pricing was in line with the other Finish tablets I would prefer it.
Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would buy it if it was on offer as it is quite expensive.
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
I would recommend them to my family and friends especially for the cleaning power on glasses.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Generally good.
Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I found them as effective as my usual dishwasher tablets. Most things came out perfectly clean, but they struggled occasionally with dried on weetabix or peanut butter.
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
It does depend what those chemicals are - if three pretty harmless chemicals have been replaced with one which is potentially less good for you, then clearly that would not be a good thing. However, I don't believe that's an issue with Power and Pure, although I did struggle to work out exactly why these were better for you - the website just goes on about them having 'active oxygen' in them...
Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
I currently switch between two types of dishwasher tablet. The RRP of Power and Pure is not that much more than either of them, but I only buy the two I already use when they are on offer. Without knowing more about the particular advantages of the 'fewer chemicals' I don't think I would buy these at full price either. However if these were also on offer, I think there is a good chance I would buy them again.
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
I might mention that I had found them as effective as my normal dishwasher tablets. However, I don't think I would recommend someone spend more money on them without more concrete information on their benefits.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Good. Worked well on a variety of difficult stains: burnt milk, dried on chilli etc. Smell was very subtle, glasses sparkled, no after taste on items.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets? As good as my usual brand - didn't notice a difference.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes of course, because you never know what the long term effects of using chemicals could be.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not? 50p per wash is a lot of money to justify especially when it compares to other products on the market and those with discounts.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family? Yes, I have been more than satisfied with the end result and should they come up on offer then they would be an ideal purchase.
