Ds is 2.4 and after attempting to coax him to the potty with the use of pull-ups is still not interested in the potty or toilet

The pampers were great for getting on and off a wriggling child as others have mentioned and he liked the idea of pulling them up & down himself which was fine if they were just wet!

I have used huggies on my elder child but she didn't get on with pull-ups as she wanted to go straight into pants & not wear 'baby nappies'

I didn't use them on ds overnight as he is either completely dry or absolutely soaking but they may be great for that purpose when (if) he is toilet trained in the day.

As a toilet training aid I would like if the child could 'feel' that they are wet & uncomfortable, as this just doesn't seem to bother my son because nappies & pull-ups are so much better at taking moisture away. With my older child it was the feeling of discomfort that pushed her to want to be dry & in comfortable pants. I'm not saying I want my child to be distressed or get rashes just that he learns about the sensation of needing to go & cause & effect of it.

Possibly this is just me venting about my ds's lack of interest in toilet training!

I like to use them as my son knows how to take a normal nappy off and does it for fun. Pull ups he only pulls off when he goes to the bathroom or we have a bath when he undresses himself. He feels more independent, like a big boy. We've not had any leaks morning or night. They are more expensive but I shop around and buy a few packs at a time as I always have with nappies. Every week one of the major supermarkets or boots has them on offer

We tested the size 4 with my 14 month little girl
Q1 over all impression is they are a good product for potty training . But I think that it was a bit early . Often had leaks when a fresh pull up was put on . For now we will be sticking with the active fit nappy.
Q2 I did find them very easy to use , easy and even fun to put on . My little one was looking to place her legs into the pull up.
Q3 this is my first time using such a product. I have tried other brand nappies.
Q4 I would and have recommend these nappies to people who are potty training their children.
Q5 they are quite expensive . It would be nice if these were put on promotion like the baby dry nappies

However the Dora design is boring and dull. Ds would prefer to pick a lion or a zebra for example instead of same design all the time.

I have been using these for my very wriggly 15 month old. He is very active (he started walking at 8 months) and nappy changes can be a pain. We tried the size 4, our usual size, but I found these too big. I persevered with these for a few days but after a couple of leakages I had to put them back in the cupboard until he is a bit bigger. I would def use these again and can see how they can help with potty training.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would

I thought these sounded like a great idea to make potty training and the transition to pants easy, however in reality they just confused my daughter! We started potty training in the lovely weather with a few bare bottom days, she really got the hang of the potty in this time and became very reliable. We then wanted to leave the house so started with the easy up pants, if at home and we reminded her she would pull them up and down and use the potty but if left alone or if we were out the result was she stopped using the potty and just went in the pants every time, whereas she had previously been reliable at using the potty without being reminded. After a few days of this stress we tried swoping to pants and within a day she was reliably using the potty again, telling us when she needed to go and pulling her own pants up and down. Definitely won't be using them with my 2nd - we'll go straight to pants and avoid the confusion.

A lot easier and quicker to use than nappies but more stress than pants!

Would not recommend as they appear to confuse the child so they don't know if they are in a nappy and can just go anywhere anytime like before or in pants and need to use the potty

If they worked to aid potty training then the price is the higher side of reasonable. However given the experience of them confusing my daughter and giving me stress then I would say they are extortionate and completely unnecessary.

Yes, I did like them, although I think my son (who was just under 1) was a bit young. They're definately not as absorbant as other nappies so need changing frequently. Would dedinately be useful for older children who are learning to pull up themselves

They were good quality, easy to get on and off and seem to hold together at the sides better than some pull ups we have used before. I would use them again.

Very easy to use and convenient for changing a wriggly 19mo who only wants to do standing up nappy changes and dash off very quickly!

I would recommend them for anyone with a young toddler who wants to stand up and be changed, and who wants to wear pants like an older sibling but just isn't there yet with potty training.

They are quite expensive but they are good quality and hold wee well, so with older babies and young toddlers they don't have to be changed that often and so are decent value.

Easy to use, very stretchy and don't rip when pulled up a couple of times.

Yes, my daughter only uses them at night time, so it's useful that she can just pull them down when she needs a wee after I have put her pyjamas on.

Yes, have tried Huggies and Supermarket brands. Some supermarket brands are okay, but Huggies have opening sides, so are very stiff and a little scratchy.

They are quite expensive, in comparison to supermarket own brand. I do tend to buy them on offer as at full price it can sometimes be double the cost.

Loved these nappies, especially that you can use them at night which i did not know before this trial. No leaking at night even though my 2 year old still has milk at night. They are great for training pants as my son can easily pull them up and down by himself.

Q1:
Good quality, looks nice, but won't be buying again - the resons are:

1. My daugther haven't felt the difference between Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers easy Ups, so I don't see the point buying more expencive ones. She was not happy when I've tried to put her into other nappies but Pampers Baby Dry ones.
2. We use Baby Dry ALL the time, I like the idea of ajustable waist what Pull Ups doesn't have.
3. The back side of the Easy Ups seems narrower then Baby Dry, so for the Easy Ups sometimes sits on one side!
4. The Easy Ups are not as absorbent as Baby Dry ones.

Q2:
It's easy to use, but won't be buying again for the reasons in Q1.
As for potty training, I've put her straight away into underwear from Baby Dry nappies at 25 months daytime and no nappies from 26 months at nightime.

Q3:
I haven't tried any other pull ups, if Pampers haven't done it for me, no any other pull ups will do!

Q4:
If it came up in conversation, I would neither recommend or not recommend Pampers Easy Ups, I just would tell the reasons why I'm not buying them.

Q5:
Won't be buying them for any price for my son in the future, who is 7 months old now.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not? Yes, I found them convenient. My child feels more 'grown up' in them than a nappy and this is reinforced by the pulling up and down of them.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare? Yes, I found these much more absorbent during night time use.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, without hesitation. My child finds them comfortable, easy to use and I find them easy to change.

below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why? They are a little on the expensive side but having used other nappies my son has had an irritated bottom with other brands so I always prefer to pay more for pampers.

Good product although I'm not sure if it's good value for money, they seem a little more expensive than my usual Pampers Baby Dry.

Luckily my MIL had some previous experience as she knew they can be torn off which is great feature and saves time. In fact DH passed this information on to another man last weekend in M&S baby change.

There was one major failure when the nappy leaked all over DH while out shopping after he picked DS up but OK other than that.

My only other criticism is that if the child's skin is wet they are difficult to pull up.

DH, MIL and my mother all agreed it was a good product but DS1 (23 months at the time) isn't quite ready for potty training so we'll go back to them when he is.

My testing wasn't as scientific as I'd like it be as DS2 arrived in the world while we were testing these.

I have only ever used pampers and found these great. Started training ds1 just as they arrived and it aided his independence in using the potty when I was feeding the new baby.

The only criticism I have is that Dora is on them. He doesn't watch nickelodeon so it didn't mean much and looked like a doll. I would prefer a more neutral based character on them.

Great product though. Ds trained very quickly and decided he didn't want the pull ups but I will use them again when training ds2

Q1 - liked very much although found sizing big tended to fall down on my slim little girl
Q2 - yes much quicker changing time
Q3 - I have also used Boots brand, better fit for slim waist
Q4 - yes although sizing big did a good job except as became fuller sagged more & more due to weight & big sizing
Q5 - while expensive at current price would need on offer to buy
