Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I really like those nappies, so easy to put on, they are like real pants :)
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
The best for active kids, and potty training. still aborbs liquids very well, babys skin is dry.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I use huggies pull ups, which I didn't really liked, because they will be wet if baby will pee. Pampers are great in this isue.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend pampers easy pull ups to parents who have active kids, and older than 9 months.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Price is not bad compare with quality.

RUBY297 · 16/07/2013 21:34

I liked the pull ups because they are a comfortable fit and we had no leaks. My little boy also likes the pictures even though he doesn't watch Dora . Peppa pig would have got him more excited or a cbeebies character that he recognised. I've used Huggies pull ups and they are less bulky but make my little boy's bottom sore. I've already recommended pampers easy ups to my friends because they are easier to use when toddlers don't want to stop what they're doing and lie down for a nappy change. They're good for starting to potty train too. The easy ups in my local Boots are more expensive than your recommended price and I think are the most expensive pull up nappies but I will still use them because I've preferred pampers for their quality since he was born.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I liked how easy they are to get on and off and my daughter agreed. She started to change her own nappies! They cost the same as baby dry, so a good purchase, but I feel the capacity is not as good. Perhaps because my daughter is skinny and should just be in a smaller size than in baby-dry? 2 hours of weeing and the nappy would be falling off... saying that, they are not meant to be a traditional nappy - the purpose is potty training but my daughter just felt they were a different style of nappy!
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I've used Huggies and much prefer Pampers.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them as pants (with an emergency nappy) but how you communicate with your child is vital. My daughter didn't really understand that they were 'pants'.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are good value as they are no more expensive than baby-dry. However, I only buy Pampers after trying Huggies and Pampers when my babies were small.

RUBY297 · 16/07/2013 21:42

Forgot to say my little boy is 23 months and we trialled size 6

MrsSpencerReed · 16/07/2013 21:57

My son is 35 months old, and we are using size 5
Q1 I would recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants for other children when they are potty training; however, for older children they are not absorbant enough for the volume produced so we have had a few accidents.
Q2 They are a good design. Easy for both me and my son to pull up and down. I like the sticky tab on the back to wrap up the used nappy.
Q3 I have tried the Huggies Pull Ups before but found them too scratchy. Pampers Easy Up Pants are vastly better for softness and the elastic is strong but doesn't dig in.
Q4 I would definatly recommend them to other parents, however I would warn against the "up to 12 hours of leakage protection", with my son I was having to change him every 4 hours if he remember to use the potty, or every 2 hours if he didn't.
Q5 I have always thought that nappies are expensive and after trying many "own brands" I have always come back to Pampers as they are so much better than any others on the market. But, we all love a bargin, and to be honest even making packs 50p cheaper would go a long way to helping the ever shrinking family budget.

Monikita8 · 16/07/2013 22:12

My little one is 10 1/2 months and I'm using easy ups size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I found them small initialy but after putting them on I ended up finding them big.... My little one is extremly active and nappy time specially poo ones are a nightmare. putting a nappy standing up and I get lots of smiles and huggs! he felt a sleep with the nappy on and when he woke up I had a wee surprise. so I'm not using them for sleep time. I found them hard to deal with when there is a poo but I think I need some training with this type of nappies as it is the first time I'm using them and I still have the tendency of puting my little one down to change.

PQ2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

they are easy to use a quick to put on as my little one is extremly active and nappy time is always an adventure.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

This is the first time I'm using easy up nappies so can't compare

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. They are so easy to use although I had a few missfortunes. Think I still need training Smile

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do find them expensive for the amount you get in the pack. would considered to buy if they were in some kind of discount in the supermarket. but for now and until I get back to work from maternity leave I will need to stik to the less expensive but always pampers as they are the only ones that keep my baby eczema controled.

phillisaurus · 16/07/2013 23:00

My little girl is 23month old and we tried size 5
Q1
Yes I would use these again they have been brilliant with my LG she loves having the independence to pull them up and down to use the potty!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
I found them very convenient, easy to take off and my LG loved stepping in them as if they where knickers.
Q3 Yes, absorbency wise they are brilliant and how the tab at the back allows you to make them longer for taller children is brilliant. Another brand I have tried does have reusable tabs on the sides for larger children and that would be helpful.
Q4 Yes, They have been reliable day and night and my LG loves the independency of puling them up and down as well as loving the design even though she doesn?t know who Dora is.
Q5
Yes, Pampers is a reliable name and this is reflected in this and there other products I don?t mind paying a little extra for peace of mind that my LG is comfortable dry and happy.

MoRaw · 16/07/2013 23:56

19 months, Size 5

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Nice look to them, does the job very well, and overall easy to use especially for my husband who of late never seems to get it right - with an active toddler, a nappy put on incorrectly can cause annoying leakages. I like them, my husband loves them, and my son does not seem to mind them. All around good result. Will buy again particular for the ease of use.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, very. I also found it useful that the nappies can be undone at the sides for quick and easy removal. Otherwise, a soiled nappy would be a tricky thing to remove.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare? No

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, for the same reasons stated above. Easy to use, holds well despite a very active toddler who drinks a lot of water

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Seems reasonable but cheaper is always better

Many thanks for sending me the sample pack. I would not otherwise have considered pull ups at this stage.

MadMonkeys · 17/07/2013 08:52

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Great product for my 3.5 year old who is potty trained but wears pull ups at night.
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, very easy.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Previously used Huggies but they have withdrawn them from their product range. Pampers seem the same quality.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, but they are expensive
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are expensive but they work. I do intend to try cheaper supermarkets own alternatives to see if they work as well.

What is the plastic strip on the back of the pull ups for?

Susiemoo8 · 17/07/2013 09:24

We tried Size 4 for a 2 year old.

  1. The nappies are great - very reliable - no leaks
  2. They are very eays to use and my daughter who is in the early stages of potty training can pull them down on her own.
  3. I have used easy ups in the past with my older children and they seem to be an even better design these days. I have also used the Huggies pull up pants (the ones that are no longer available to buy in the UK) and I found the sides very scratchy and also they would sometimes open up on their own, or get caught. Pampers Easy Ups are superior by far. I have also tried shops own (Sainsburys/Boots) and found them to be inferior.
  4. I would recommend them - they are expensive but you get what you pay for. The latest packaging change has increased their price even further (I am always suspicious of a change of pack size).
  5. I always buy them when they are on offer. Most places they are now £12.99 for 50 nappies, but I just bought 75 nappies in a box for £12 in Asda that were on a 2 for £20 offer (so 150 nappies for £20) which I think is very reasonable.
Susiemoo8 · 17/07/2013 09:26

The plastic strip is for when you take off a dirty nappy, roll it up, then you can stick it down with the wipes inside. So you don't have to use a nappy sack for a wee nappy.

Chocolateteabag · 17/07/2013 09:26

Please state the age of your child and the size of Easy Up Pants you
were trying in your response. Age 2.8, Size 6 (big Boy)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Liked them - decent size and absorbed alot without leaks. DS liked the Dora pattern (would have preferred Peppa or Fireman Sam though)
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes easy to use
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have tried another brand which we gave away as they were too small for DS - despite him being in the middle of the right weight range. Pampers are generous in comparison so much esier to get on/off
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes - absorb lots of liquid without leaks
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are expensive compared to the supermarket brands - but then you get a better product and less chance of your day being ruined by a leaky nappy

iza330 · 17/07/2013 09:55

Boy 17 month size 4 nappies
Very happy with Easy up nappies. These easy up pants are great in so many ways. much easier to put on than normal nappies if you have a very active baby who only wants to stand up. Good way to help with toddler potty training. We've always got on with Pampers - easy to put on, easy to take off, absorbent, leaving a relatively dry bottom and very few leakages or wear marks. They are very good value for money especially when they are on an offer. I would recommend them for all the mums. Never used similarly product before but i will be using easy up pants from now on.

robbie1972 · 17/07/2013 09:58

Had these for a few days now.

My daughter is 2 and we had size 5, just starting potty training so it was handy!

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Great product, would like to buy them yes!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, very easy and convenient with the sticky strip

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No have never tried any others, this is the first time.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, definitely - easy to use and reasonable price and convenient.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are reasonably priced I think for what they do and compared to other brands they all cost about the same and they work very well!

ponygirlcurtis · 17/07/2013 10:17

I have finished the pack now, so this is a review of the whole overall experience.

My son is 20 months, so using size 6.

Q1 My overall impression was good. I was concerned that they seemed small, but on using them on him all day every day, there was not one single leak. And nappy changing is so much easier for us all - he can wriggle all he likes, but once I've got his feet in both holes, it's game over! Plus I like the elasticated band round the waist, I always worry that the tab nappies are too tight/constricting DS in some way. My jeans get awful tight in the evenings Blush, I don't want him to be uncomfortable.
The problem now is going to be using normal nappies again, it's going to be a struggle...

Q2 Absolutely I found them easy and convenient to use.

Q3 I have been using the occasional pull-up on him, but never using them solely. I was impressed, in some ways better than normal nappies.

Q4 Yes I would recommend them.

Q5 But now comes the crunch. Even getting the biggest (and therefore best value) box, £15 for 64 nappies seems a lot of money. I had been paying around £10 for a similar number of normal nappies (Asda 2 for £10), so to pay an extra 50% is a lot. I am on a budget. Plus you can't get the Mega Box everywhere, my local Asda doesn't always have it, so then it's going to be even more to get the smaller boxes. If they were on a special offer, I'd say I'd definitely buy them as I like them. But if they are not, I am not sure I want to spend that extra money.
(Mind you, I may change my mind when I go back to pinning DS down to get a normal nappy on him...)

fudge65 · 17/07/2013 10:55

I used the Pampers Easy Up pants on 22 month old, and used size 5. These were the perfect size. I was very impressed and they did not leak at all. Liked the Dora and Diego design - very funky. I would definitely use these again. They were convenient to use too. I have not used Pull ups before from another brand and I was very impressed. To me, Pampers are an excellent brand - tried and trusted for years. I think they give good value for money - and to me, with nappies, you get you pay for!

Lent1l · 17/07/2013 11:10

MY daughter is 16 months old and we used size 4 of the Easy Up Pants.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I really liked them. My daughter took to them really well and seemed to enjoy pulling up her pants rather than waiting to have a nappy fastened. We are now thinking of having both nappies and Easy Ups in the house as they each have their uses.
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
We have found they are very easy to use and less bulky than nappies of the same size. They allow our little girl to feel a bit bigger and freer
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I've not used any form of pull up before so can not compare.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them as they were easy to use and as a toddler helps to start to introduce the idea of pants.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I currently buy nappies from Aldi as I find them as good as any other brand. In comparison the cost of these Papmers Easy Ons is very expensive. I think I'd shop around and try some other brands before I'd be able to decide if Pampers justify the cost.

emmaruthbacon21 · 17/07/2013 13:58

Had my pack of size 4's last week and I thought as my littleman is only 10months they might be a little big and old for him. However they are great as he is a big wriggler and will not lie still to be able to put a conventional nappy on him, these are great they simply slip on while he is standing. They hold quite a lot and also some explosive ones too. Would definatley recommend to friends.

emmaruthbacon21 · 17/07/2013 14:02

To answer some of the other questions, havent has any other similar brands as my little man is too young, but I use normal pampers and have tried other brands and have come back to pampers.
As he is crawling around and also cruising around furniture we have found that they are also less bulky and make it easier for him to move.
We would definatley buy them for ourselves. Convenient, reasonably priced and reliable.

mummygardyne · 17/07/2013 14:04

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My impression was very favourable, they are not to bulky and lasted for long periods, and worked well overnight.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

They were easy to use, as less of a struggle than regular nappies, and the sticky tab for using when finished is very handy.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I have not used any other brand

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would certainly recommend Pampers Easy Up, my daughter seems very happy wearing them and I find they do a great job.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Pampers Easy Up Pants:

Number of nappies in each pack
Size 4 Size 5 Size 6
Carry Pack (£6.49) 22 20 19
Economy Pack (£7.49) 28 26 24
Jumbo Pack (£12.99) 50 46 42
Mega Pack (£15.00) 75 69 64

I think they are good value, and very often they are on special offer at supermarkets which makes them even better.

Many thanks for allowing myself and my daughter to test these out for you.

peacockdawn · 17/07/2013 14:58

Q1 Love them, very easy to use and trust them to keep my baby girl nappy rash free.
Q2 Very convienient, even though my daughter is just 11 months and just walking, she does not want to sit still for nappy changing so following her around trying to get the tabs done is a nightmare - this resolved the issue.
Q3 No.
Q4 Yes, I trust pampers for the nappy rash issue (tried lots with first daughter and only pampers stopped/reduced it) and definitely for easy life with easy ups.
Q5 You get what you pay for, we couldn't afford these all the time so would use for special occasions, days out and buy the simply dry the rest of the time.

Maggietess · 17/07/2013 16:33

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked them. I'd wanted to try them as my wriggly 10mo was driving me mental with nappy changes and they are definitely much, much easier to get him into when he's a moving target! But I thought their downside was they seem much bulkier than the Pampers Baby Dry nappies that I've recently switched to from supermarket brands. I love them as they are so thin I think it's nearly like he's not wearing a nappy so I'm not sure if I'd switch to these. Put the baby dry technology in them and I definitely would!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Very easy to get on, not just as convenient at wrapping up a particularly poo filled nappy with just one small sticky tab at the back . but generally grand.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I have used both pampers and huggies pull ups with my older 2 and I think these seem much stretchier and softer too. I had to stop using them though with my middle daughter as her nursery asked me for ordinary nappies. I was bewildered why until they explained that for most wet nappies they didn't take off shoes and trousers, just pulled them down whereas with pull ups they had to do a full change.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

If they were looking for a pull up yes as they do seem softer than some others. But overall I'd probably recommend the baby dry nappy quicker as I think it's great.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Not as good value as ordinary nappies. They would have to be on good bulk buy offers for me to see the value here.

Thanks for the opportunity to try them.

HannahLI · 17/07/2013 19:04

Q1 I live the concept of Pull Ups. My son is three and potty trained during the day but he isn't at night. I wanted him to have the freedom and independence at night to carry on as he has in the day without having to worry about accidents. My first impressions were good I like the design, my son liked Dora and Diego although its not very relevant to him and this might need to be thought about. We use Pampers active fit nappies and in comparison I felt that the pull up was bulky and not as absorbent. Albeit it did do a good job absorbancy wise. However I was really dissappointed when we started using them. My son could get them down fine by himself but despite trying really hard he couldn't get them back on properly. He struggled to pull them up without totally ruckling them or having them not really on right. As I said he's three and has excellent fine motor skills and is a whizz at getting dressed so I was very dissappointed that the design of these pull ups is such that a child can't get them up - surely that defeats the whole point! As such I wouldn't buy them again, I felt that they caused unnecessary frustration for my son and I can't see the point if he can't get them back up himself properly without my help!

Q2 as my comments above easy to get down, impossible for a child to get back up and fitting correctly! I didn't really see the point of the sticky tab either and didn't really think it was necessary.

Q3 We haven't really used anything like this before and we won't be doing so again. For nappies we use pampers active fit and they are unbeaten for thinness and absorbancy. My recommendation would be that the same techniques are used in the pull up.

Q4 no I wouldn't recommend them as I don't see the point. If a three year old cant get them back up himself then they don't actually function in my opinion.

Q5 I think the price is okay, nappies are cheaper so there isn't much incentive to use pull ups.

MonsterBookOfTyRexs · 17/07/2013 19:46

We tried a size 5 on our 2.9year old dd.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
They were stretchy and seemed comfortable.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, dd is almost potty trained but does have bad days. She wears pants most of the time but the easy up pants are for when she is not doing so well and at bedtime. They were brilliant for bedtime, absorbed everything!
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have used Huggies pull ups and Aldis pull up style 'pants'. The pampers easy up pants are much more comfortable and easy for dd to use, they hold the wet better than huggies and are more comfortable and stretchy than the Aldi ones. But the price for the amount of nappies would keep me buying the Aldi ones tbh unless the pampers were on offer.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, but if on offer, they are worth the price as they are very good, but I simply could not afford them regularly.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Too expensive for the amount you get.

MogwaiTheGremlin · 17/07/2013 20:47

Ds has just turned 1 (yippee!) and I've finished trialling my pack of Easy Ups Size 5.

Like another poster, I initially thought they looked quite small but they are a perfect fit and sit nicely beneath clothes (not too bulky).

Here are my answers:

Q1 - Love them! Will definitely continue to use as makes changing ds so much easier. No more trying to pin him down while he screams and wriggles and rolls over.

Q2 - Yes, see above.

Q3 - I use Huggies Little Swimmers which are awful (do Pampers make swim nappies? They should!). I've also used the equivalent pull up nappies from Huggies which I don't like. They were much more difficult to get on/off and the design wasn't very clear so we kept accidentally putting them on back to front! Blush The Pampers design is much clearer and I like the little tab on the back which Huggies don't have.

Q4 - Yes.

Q5 - Yes because I'd rather pay more for a quality product. Cheap nappies are a false economy if they are always leaking or a complete nightmare to put on.
