Good level of dryness and no leakage. Lasted 12 hours but unsurprisingly huge and heavy nappy in the morning!

My only quibble is the price. Lidl nappies are still the best price and provide all the same benefits (except they are slightly less soft) and cost 30% less than pampers.

As a disposable these nappies are ok at wee containment they do keep the baby dry for 12 hours but their poo containment is quite frankly poo. I have to change him every time hevdoes anything more than a small amount.

The price point I think is expensive and seems to be more than other pampers nappies.

I don't think I will be using them again as they don't contain the poo and they smell really strongly of chemicals. Back to cloth nappies for me.

I already posted some feedback but wanted to update that tonight we did have a leaky one. My DD was unusually crying at 5am (she normally does sleep through) and when I changed her, her lower back was damp and the vest was wet. She was thrashing about raising her legs at 90 degrees and then bringing them down on the mattress with a bang. Repeatedly. I don't think any nappy with a fresh wee would have contained the leakage.

I have still found them fantastically dry the rest of te time!

DS, 2.10 used size 4s (he's about 15 kilos/93cm tall)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They're nice - they're soft, thin, don't smell of horrible perfume, and I think this is the first time DS has ever commented on the animals on the front of a nappy. I usually use the cheaper orange Pampers Simply Dry though, and I don't see a significant difference between them (could say the same of the other types in the range - I'm never really sure what's supposed to be different) so I would only buy these if there were no Simply Dry and they were on offer to take them down to a similar price

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Just fine - we don't have a trouble with leaks (not since he was a tiny baby) - even with complete sloshers (it's a technical term), and the same here. I was slightly surprised because the premium ones normally have elasticated backs, where as these ones don't (like simply dry) but it didn't make any difference - nothing escaped.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Not really - as I said above I don't get what's so great about the more expensive ranges vs. the Simply Dry, so I only buy them if they're on offer down to the same price, or I need a smaller packet to leave around MILs or something similar.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend Pampers in general, Baby-Dry no more than any other Pampers.

I've been trying these on my 8.5 month old ds

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Bit of a chemical smell, but ds was dry all night but since we night weaned him we have not had any leaks any way. Dry feel next to skin the next morning. I wouldn't use them again but mostly as we aren't having leaks with our usual brand. When ds was feeding a lot at night we used the usual pampers active fit just at night. I'm not sure if they really had less leaks or it was just a believe that a branded product may be better. But back then I probably would have bought a pack just for night time. I'm not a fan of lots of branding and pictures on baby nappies but this wasn't too offensive.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Dryness a little better. Only nappy we ever had loads of leaks in was boots on brand.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Seem too expensive for the extra quality. I use just for bums which are great as I get boxes delivered to home and they rarely leak.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Probably just as a night time safety belt in the early days. But actually now days I just tell everyone about kiddicare and just for bums.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Good - no leaks. Nice pictures Smile

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I have used various other brands and rarely have any leaks anyway, however we have had none at all since using Pampers Baby Dry.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

The Economy pack for £9.99 seemed good value, in fact I bought a pack from co-op, as this seemed like the best deal in the store. However they didn't seem to sell any of the larger pack so not sure how these compare (as you don't say how many nappies are in each pack). Normally I try to buy nappies in bulk online, and will tend to buy whichever brand has a special offer.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, if someone specifically asked about Pampers

I tried size 4 and my baby is 7 month old.
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
The others size 4 I used are bulky, but Pampers Baby-Dry is not, which is a really good point, the only think is the smell. There have a nice design and are soft, but more importantly kept my baby dry all night.
But some poos leave the nappy. I would use them again, I like Pampers, mainly because they are soft and not bulky, even though they are not cheap.
Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? They are more absorbent and keep dry.
Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
The are more expensive that the supermarked brands, maybe if they go a little cheaper they would be a very good value for money, but saying that with the promotions, it is possible to get them a good price.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would recommend them, because they do what they said, they are not bulky, they are soft and the design is really good.

I tried size 3 of pampers baby-dry nappies for my 6 week old DS.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I was surprised at how thin these nappies are but they did as they described and kept my DS dry for the 12 hours. I would use again as I felt they are aiding me to help my DS to start sleeping through the night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I did feel the 12 hours was just a bit long in the nappy as his skin felt damp and tacky when I changed him. His clothing and bedding was dry. The nappy also felt a bit tight in the morning with being full, even tho he has only just gone into size 3 nappies. I would use them again because it saved me on having to put the light on to change him and after his feed get him back to sleep faster, as he was less disturbed during the night and hopefully start sleeping through the night.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are good value as I would change my DS about twice in the night and with these I didn't have to, so it has saved me on 2 nappies per night that I would use with any other brand or type.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend these nappies as they do keep baby dry over night and save on extra washing and cost of nappies that you would use with other brands, the only thing I would say is that the 12 hours is a maximum time you should leave on the baby.

My baby is a 13 month old boy and he tried the size 4.

Q1 I really like Pampers as a brand and I like the Baby - dry nappies and they worked really well. However we usually use pampers active fit and I didn't like them as much because they were not as thin as I would have liked and I wasn't sold on the material. On saying that I did like them, my son wore them for 14 hours overnight and although very full he was still dry which is impressive. I like the fun characters on design and I liked the stretchy sticky tabs too as they helped the fit.

Q2 They worked really well for dryness and no leaks at all, I cant use any other brand than pampers and these baby dry lived up to my expectations. The only thing I would say is you have to fold it out before putting it on baby and sometimes the inside sticks to itself which if you don't realise and check can cause problems particularly if it was a novice friend changing!

Q3 I think they are excellent value because I use 1 nappy to every 3 supermarket. On facevalue they seem more expensive but when you factor in how many I really use because of the great dryness they are great value.

Q4 I would recommend and in fact I have to another mum at a mums and tots group. I do like baby-dry but I still love the active fit more!

  1. very impressed with pampers and would definitely use them again as they were a good snug fit for my son and not bulky like other brands.

  2. had no leaks during the day or night

  3. yes they're a bit more expensive but I think its worth paying a little bit extra for a more reliable nappy. Or you can just stock up when on offer

  4. I would recommend pampers baby dry to friends

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
When I first saw them I was impressed by how slim they were, and they feel softer than other nappies we have used before. Given this, I imagine they would be more comfortable for the baby. We have only been using them at night, for the last week so I haven't reached my final conclusion yet, but I have been impressed with them, and imagine I might buy them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
We haven't had any leaks, and DS2 has worn them for 10-12 hours each night. He doesn't normally leak in our usual brand, but probably does once or twice most weeks, so these do look like they are working better.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
We normally use Active Fit, so these are pretty much equivalent in price. Like with Active Fit I would probably only buy when they are on special offer, but I suspect that like Active Fit you can normally find them on offer somewhere. And I have never seen the 'Mega' or 'Giga' packs but might look into where you can buy them!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
If anyone asked me about them, I would say that I have had a positive experience of them. And if someone I knew was having issues with nappies leaking, particularly overnight, I would certainly recommend giving Baby Dry nappies a try.

My son is 9 months old and we tested the size 4. First time mum.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again?
I would use them for night time sleeps only. I like the Pampers Baby-Dry a lot. But they're not so great for holding poo and they just don't seem to fit as nicely as Pampers Active Fit.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
We usually use Pampers Active Fit, but since our son has decided he likes sleeping on his front, the Active Fit nappies have leaked. The first night we tried Pampers Baby Dry, Eli slept through! 12 hours! Coincidence or not, he was comfortable - and no leakage!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
We're subscribed to the Amazon Family delivery for our Active Fit nappies. We generally get x2 boxes of 84 nappies for around £18. That's usually cheaper than buying at Sainsbury's (or whatever other supermarket) even during offer times! Baby Dry look at being a similar price. As we're going to continue just using them during the night I'd probably look for Baby Dry on offer in Boots etc (so I get my double points!). I wouldn't think it was worth getting an Amazon subscription as Eli will probably grow before they're all used up!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would certainly recommend Pampers Baby Dry nappies; especially for overnight. I've already told several of my friends who had a few leakages recently. With the baby's now sleeping longer, you need a reliable nappy so people are happy to pay a little extra for a reputable brand of nappy.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Quite thin which is great for fitting several in the nappy bag for a long day out. The designs are very cute, compensates for what I see when I open. The nappy! These are our staple nappies so I will continue to use these until potty training. In all the time we've used Pampers (my daughter is 6 months old) we've had a handful of leaks, mostly caused by the nappy not been fastened tight enough.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Much better, my daughter also seems much more comfortable than from when we were using the New Baby nappies. She will have a nappy on for 12 hours through the night and even when she ends up upside down in her bed from wriggling around the nappy is always secure.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I would say so, in our case we get what we pay for. The packs last us a good 2 weeks.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I definitely would. They are very secure and we have had a minimal amount of leaks. There has been the odd poo explosion but not surprising at the force my little one can push them out in.

I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.

1 Overall impression is exactly what I would have expected from pampers. Nappies are thin (in a good way) Packagaged tightly in the wrapping, good design. The quality is really high, but exactly what I would have expected from them. Kept baby dry overnight. A few leaks from dirty nappies (6 month old ebf baby, so runny bf poo) but no more or less than usual brand of nappies (Aldi own)
I would use them again, but only when they are on offer.

2 I think leakage and stain protection is exactly the same as usual brand I usually use.

3 I usually use Aldi nappies. They are bulkier than pampers. For value I think Aldi are better value. They performed exactly the same. I buy other branded products if they are on offer or I have a coupon (ideally both!Grin) I wouldn't switch brand to pampers exclusively, unless I had lots of money to do so.

4 pampers are the leading brand. I would recommend them and use them solely if the price was as competitive as supermarket brand/Aldi.

Thank you for letting my baby try them out! Love a free nappy GrinGrinGrin

Just adding feedback from HarshaVarsani:
"The nappies are good for keeping urine away from my baby's bottom but to be honest Pampers active fit do the same job. My baby doesn't poo at night so not sure how well these nappies are for that. The nappies are very colourful and stretchy so they adapt well to my baby's bottom and waist. I would recommend them to other mums."

Size 3 on my 11 month old son (DS2)

1). A great nappy that didn't feel bulky, was soft, fitted well around the leg area and felt very soft. I've always used the slightly move expensive Pampers Activfit but will be buying these in the future, especially as we had no poo leaks which has been a problem with the Activfit nappies (for us). Tried a few of the different supermarket own brands with DS1 and think the extra cost if the Pampers is well worth it! Also really like the simple, 'unbranded' characters on the nappies.

2). No leaks ( up back or legs) and didn't seem to have that very strong wet nappy smell in the morning. DS's skin did feel a bit 'damp' when changing his nappies but I've noticed this with all nappies we've tried. Pampers are arguably the best in terms of skin only feeling damp instead of wet.

3). Definitely good value for money! Not only did we use less of them but there were no clothes ( or bed linen) to wash thanks to a leak!

4). Would definitely recommend them!

My DS is 19mo and I was trying size 4.

Q1 - my overall impression was that they are great for daytime, but for my DS not so good at night. He usually sleeps 12 hours straight, but woke early soaked through. I normally use Pampers Active Fit for night time and supermarket own brand during the day, and can't see any benefit of Baby Dry over either of these.

Q2 - think I've covered this question above. When they leaked it tended to be out of the top of the nappy so DS had a wet tummy.

Q3 - I don't think they're good value for money compared with Active Fit, which cost the same but leak less. During the day I tend to use Aldi or Asda nappies which suit me and DS just fine, so there would be no added value for me in switching to Baby Dry.

Q4 - I don't think I would, although I have recommended Active Fit to others.

Q1
Yes, I'd use them again. They have been a great option for a night time nappy. In comparison to some of the other nappies my DS has had (even the active fit pampers nappies) he wakes up with a much less bulky and heavy nappy even though he is a big wetter at night. They also were great for long car journeys and as we've moved house during the trial it was great to know he was in a solid reliable dry nappy amongst all the chaos.

Q2
We've had one leak since trying them out but wouldn't hold this against the nappy. The dryness is much better than other disposable nappies we've tried.

Q3
I do find the prices quite expensive and on a budget weekly food shop I could be inclined to go for the cheaper alternatives that I know work.

Q4
I would, probably not on my own accord but if someone was mentioning their child was a heavy night wetter and they needed a reliable overnight nappy I would definitely recommend these.

Thanks so much for the trial pack, it was greatly appreciated!

P.S We also loved the design on the nappy. Dora is not a big favourite in this house and DS always said "No Dora" but happily came and pointed out the animals he wanted to wear on his nappy at change time.
