Q1. What was your overall opinion of Origins Plantscription? What did you like most? Was there anything you didn't like?
I thought the bottle seemed quite small for the price.
Otherwise I quite liked the pump dispenser. I liked the green colour of the serum [looked natural]. The consistency seemed a little thin - but then I had been used to the Perfect World White Tea serum which is a bit more substantial. The smell was pleasant enough I guess but underwhelming, not particularly memorable [unlike other Origins products which smell divine!].
Q2. How easy or difficult did you find the serum to apply? How many pumps did you tend to apply per application? Did you find it easy or difficult to know how much to apply?
I found the serum easy to apply.
I used two pumps per application over face, with an extra pump for the neck and chest on occasion.
I just used enough serum to give a light covering - so it seemed fairly easy to know how much to apply [but now that you ask I wonder if I was using enough, too much or too little..?]
Q3. Does your skin look and/or feel any different since you've been using the serum? If so, in what way?
I am not sure I could say that my skin looks or feels noticeably different since using this serum to be honest...
However it does feel smooth and moisturised but I'm not sure if that is due to the serum or the separate moisturiser I am using..?
Q4. In terms of lines and wrinkles (if you have any of course!) do you have fewer than before you started using the product? Or do the ones you have look any better since using the serum?
Again, I am not sure that I have fewer lines or wrinkes since using the product, or that the ones I have look any better...
Though overall my skin looks smooth and clear in texture.
Q5. How about the firmness and/or smoothness (or otherwise) of your skin - has the product made a difference or not?
I think it is possible that I have had a slight improvement in the firmness and smoothness of my skin. Again, I am not sure it is a massive difference from how my skin was prior to the trial... But my skin is looking somewhat more smooth and firm.
Q6. If you have noticed a difference to your skin, has anyone else noticed? Have you had any nice comments?
No, no-one else seems to have noticed any difference and I haven't had any nice comments
Q7. Do you think you will continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial or not? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I am not sure that I would continue to use Origins Plantscription after the trial. I don't think it has made much of a difference to the quality of my skin. I preferred Perfect World White Tea Serum to be honest.
Q8. The RRP of Origins Plantscription serum is £46 - do you think this represents good value for money or not?
If the serum had made a significant difference to the texture or firmness of my skin I would have felt it was good value for money.
However as I did not get much of a result with this product I would not spend £46 on it.
Q9. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Origins Plantscription to others? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I think I would recommend that friends ask for a trial sample of the product and see whether it made a difference to the quality of their skin.
I think £46 would be a lot to pay to trial a new product to then have a fairly lacklustre result like mine was... But the serum may be more suitable to different types of skin?
